This is a tale of revenge, betrayal, love and ambition. "All is fair in Love and War" Throw Powers into the mix and it is Carnage! ___ EXCERPT___ Gorak! 'Oh sh*t!', her eyes go wide. 'What is he doing here? He escaped?' Stunned by her naked beauty, the attacking Gorak stops, staring. She looks like a goddess! Lush pink skin glowing under the sunlight. Those heavenly mounds on her chest with mouth-watering nipples. Well-framed body, with a beautiful, soft ass that vibrates gently as she moves. How could anyone look this gorgeous?! Worse off, she was dripping wet. He wanted to lick her dry! Seeing that he is just standing there, Dela seizes her chance to run. She hurls her sword at him, and he dodges, but then she begins to wade through the water to escape through a tunnel deep within. He wouldn't let her go. Reaching into the water, he pulls her out and slams her against the rocky wall, holding her in place. What was he thinking? She betrayed him so cruelly 2,000 years ago, and helped the enemy take him down! He came here to get his revenge, but what was he doing now? Drooling over her? How stupid. "Mnh... let me go!" she struggled to break free. "I loved you. Took good care of you. But what did you do? You betrayed me the second you got the chance! And what for? A cheap chance at Power?!" He yelled the last sentence in her face. She whimpered, shutting her eyes, her lips quivering. Those lips... "I'm not afraid of you!", she responded in defiance She would fight to the death. She balled her fists, making them into flaming fists. She was strong, but she was still just a Guardian. He was a god. This fight would last only a second. "Still so feisty. Your newfound powers cannot save you." He held Dela in place, keeping both her hands above her head with one hand, pressing down the rest of her body with his own body against the rocky wall. As she struggled to break free, her soft body rubbed against his hard one. It was distorting his thoughts "Hold still!", he commanded. Shocked, she stopped moving. A cold sweat broke out on her forehead as she realised what he meant. He took his sword to her throat. It lightly touched her skin and left a small cut. Some blood trickled down. "Say your prayers." She shut her eyes again, quivering, waiting for her death. It was finally the time to kill her. He had planned his revenge through the last 2,013 years of his life. How he would enjoy the fear on her face in her last moments, right before he slit her throat, but... Why couldn't he do it? What was stopping him? Gorak had never hesitated to kill anyone in his life before. He was genuinely confused as to why he just couldn't do it. "She betrayed you, remember? Do it, fool! Just do it.", he mumbled under his breath. Those lips... He gulped hard. He wanted to kiss them again! He lowered his sword and pressed down upon their softness, hungrily eating them out in a sweet french kiss. Deepening further, he dropped his sword, freeing his right hand to arc Dela's head, holding it in place so that his tongue reaches into the deepest depths of her soul, swallowing her whole. Wide-eyed, Dela is shocked by the kiss. It ushers in a flood of memories. 2,013year old memories. She embraces him, pushing herself up against him. Her hands are free but what is she doing? Making out with her killer!? ........ #r18 *Book cover credit: ArtStation*

A Princess's Nightmare

***LOCATION: The Kingdom of Havillah, Earth. At the time of Enouka's blast***

*BOOM!!!*

High up in the Cosmos, Enouka gives its final outburst in a terrific blast.

The blast tears through the entire Cosmos, reaching as far as planet Earth on the opposite, far side of the Cosmos, several million lightyears away from the Enouka.

____

Dela, Guardian of Earth stands at the peak of a magnificent mountain with a sparkling crystal at its top; the principal mountain in Havillah. This is Mount Chi.

Her glorious form does a graceful dance in the dead of night, against the backdrop of a million stars as she summons her energies, in misty green and gold flames; brilliant and beautiful.

Pleasant, quiet and soulful, like a ballerina, her dance ends with a blast of sparkling green energy into the sky.

Bursting like a firecracker, the spark of green energy spreads out over the Earth, cloaking it in a green and gold barrier.

Next, the Enouka's fierce golden waves hit the planet Earth.

*WHOOSH!*

The barrier holds firmly, but the impact hits Dela like a very strong wind, intensifying.

The intense waves batter the barrier on the surface, eating at it as the sheer heat waves dissolve the outer layers of the barrier into steam.

*Swish! Swish!*

Little particles of golden energy flying at insane speeds, tearing at Dela's barrier and weakening it.

The most troublesome of these particles actually burn their way through the barrier, travelling in the strong winds towards Dela.

Strained, she holds on, holding up her hands to mend and keep the barrier firm.

*Swish! Swish-Swish! Swish!*

The incoming particles of golden energy whizz past Dela's face as she dodges.

"Ugh!...", she had had enough.

*VWOOSH!*

In one athlethic spin, Dela makes a flaming circle of green and gold misty flames around her.

"Hah!"

She sets it off in a circle.

The flames travel through the air in a rapidly expanding ring of fire, burning off the golden particles coming through Dela's barrier, until it hits the green barrier, making it into a flaming barrier; much stronger than the last.

This holds firmly. But for how long can she keep it up?

"Hoooooold...", she encourages herself, giving her all. Fighting hard to keep the flaming barrier up until the golden waves pass.

...

Sweeping over the entire planet, the last fiery bits of the Enouka's golden wave of destruction tease Earth for just a few more moments before it finally passes.

"Phew!"

Tough, but bravo Dela!"

Dela heaved a sigh of relief. She had saved the Earth once again.

"This wave was far stronger than the last. The power of that star is insane!

Any longer, and it just might have burned its way through the barrier."

She assessed, an exasperated smile on her face.

Indeed, the Enouka beat everyone's expectation, including its own. For a Guardian, Dela had done exceptionally well defending against it.

Ferris would be proud.

"I'll be even more prepared next time.", she determines, hopping off the top of the mountain.

*Swish!*

She sweeps through the air like a sparkling greenish shooting star as she disappears, after a job well done.

*** 3 AM, The Kingdom of Havillah, at the time of the Blast, Planet Earth.***

The night is still at its darkest, illuminated only by a full moon in the clear, cloudless skies. A soft breeze sways the trees, taking a few leaves with it.

All is quiet and peaceful.

In a dim-lit, pretty room, a princess lays asleep in bed.

*Whoosh!*

The impact of the Enouka's blast cuts through the Earth's atmosphere, but because of Keepers' shield, the incredible distance it's travelled, the guardian of the Earth's tough barrier, and planet Earth's several layers of atmospheric protection, by the time it hits the land, it is only as strong as a very strong, fast-flowing gust of stellar winds and ultraviolet radiation in the form of a blue and gold fluorescent light.

*Fwooosh!*

The impact hits the sleeping princess in bed like a glowing ray of blue and gold florescent light, passing over her for only a short moment before it disappears like nothing happened.

But that short moment is long enough for her body to absorb the fluorescent ultraviolet radiation.

Immediately, the princess is transported to a strange place within her dream... a cave with glowing crystals of sorts, and a beautiful waterfall. Most prominent is a golden piece of rock suspended above the pool of water at the bottom of the waterfall.

She moves forward, stepping into the pool as if to reach the stone and finds it's a hot water pool.

The moment she steps into the pool with both feet, she is hit with a myriad of voices in her head, whispering words in a strange language. One she doesn't understand at first.

The voices grow louder and louder, and images start appearing in her mind.

"Stop, stop it!"

She takes her hand to her head.

"Stradorshnuctchat... Find the Enouka!

Mistego! Miste-... Now! Right Now!"

She finds she can understand the voices. But now the sense of urgency in the voices increases.

She is suddenly transported to Havillah; her kingdom. To the crystal at Mount Chi to see a green fire, shrouded in darkness come through the crystal.

"Dakrusta!... Danger!

A threat is coming! Run!" Find the Enouka!"

The entire place gets covered in darkness with red lightning strikes coming down from the dark skies. Next, vicious monsters attack! They start to kill her people.

"Dakrusta! Danger! Run!

Find the Enouka. Only the Enouka can save your world!

Flee this place. Find the Enouka Now!"

Flee... still in shock her body fails to move.

When she turns around to run, a monster grabs a woman with a child close to her.

Hearing the woman's scream, she turns in the direction of the woman.

She has to help.

"Dakrusta! Flee now, before it is too late!"

At this point, the voices in her head are far too loud, she can barely think. She winces, holding her head in her hands.

She can't just abandon the woman... but now, how would she find her?

It is pitch black and she can no longer hear the woman's voice.

Groping in the darkness, she moves forward, but then she stumbles over something... it feels fleshy, and there are more than two pieces.

She hopes and prays that those are not severed body parts, but her hands which hit the floor first to support her weight feel a thick, warm liquid. Then the smell hits her... blood!

She'd stumbled over severed body parts into a pool of blood.

Thunder strikes and lights up the place enough for her to see ahead... the woman on the floor... a monster bent over her, eating out her guts!

"..."

She feels something staring her down and she turns to look left, away from the woman's corpse and the monster busy eating her, to find an even greater giant. A massive monster looking straight at her.

The lightning dies away and it's back to pitch blackness.

She had been noticed!

"Run!"

The voices in her head had quietened, leaving her with just one instruction. Just one thought. Run!

She scurries off the floor, bloody, scared as hell, she runs for her life.

She can hear the monster behind her giving chase. It could see in the dark and was faster than her. In no time it had closed the distance between them.

She can now hear its grunts.

And now she feels its breath.

It's over.

Curious about what happened in the princess's dream?

This is Princess Ruika's point of view! (POV)

Why did the blast cause her to have such a terrible nightmare?

What were the voices all about?

Will she be saved?

What's going to happen next?
