F*ck! My head is dizzy. Does anybody get the number of that truck? It feels like I got struck by Hibiki's Ongekibou - Rekka on the head. After cursing for a while, I started looking around my surroundings. Okay...? Seems like I'm in some kind of mansion. Let's look around first.

About 15 minutes later,

Hmm… This mansion is empty. I'm not sure but I feel safe here. Well, I should sleep first. My head is hurting. I'm sure I'll remember something when I wake up. After searching for a bedroom, I drive right into the bed and immediately fall asleep.

Next morning

Seems like I was right. I do get my memories recovered. This mansion is my mansion. I walked toward the mirror. Lo and behold. Blonde hair with high fade haircut plus blue-colored eyes. What's up with this mighty hair? Why is it still the same? I just woke up from the bed you know? Shouldn't it look like… bed hair? Enough with the topic of hair! Hmm… Let's check the memory.

My name is Oswald Kingsley. 20 years old and holy crap! Why did this body have the memory of magecraft? Did I just got transported into Nasuverse? There're some other memories too but I'll check them later.

Let's look at the date. 17th July 1990. What the F**k? It's just 4 years before the Fourth Holy Grail War. Enough! Let's look more into the memory. And it just dropped another bomb.

I, Oswald Kingsley have a childhood sweetheart i.e. one of the most badass humans in nasuverse; if you thought about a ponytail girl with an artificial hand, yes that's right. It is none other than The Queen: The Supreme Mage of the Present Era, Lorelei Barthomeloi. In my memory, I first met her when my family went to Barthomeloi for the family business. At that time, she looked more open and kinder than the knowledge I know from Tsukihime. We quickly became friends after talking for a while. We have sent letters to each other since that day.

But just like I know from Tsukihime, she is absolutely a monster. I mean who hunts Dead Apostle for fun? Not anyone I know of. With her rank going up quickly one by one, she became the Vice Director of the Mage's Association. And then there's me after my parents died in an accident, I've lived in this mansion alone. I know something is suspicious about my parent's death but I have nothing to prove. So, I worked as an enforcer for my living. So far, nothing bad has happened yet.

While she is the Vice Director, I'm nothing but an enforcer who is looked down on in the magus community. I tried to stay away from her after that. Our status is different. I went to a different country to live quietly for a while. But Lorelei came after me with her brigade which she refused to deploy on anything below the level of an Ancestor. What she said after seeing me tie up sent a shiver up my spine.

Flashback 2 years ago

In front of me is my beloved friend Lorelei. Ah… she's still beautiful as always. Keep your mind straight Oswald. She came with the whole brigade of hers just to find me. Am I going to slap with sealing designation to my arse? Don't think so. I haven't done anything wrong.

Looking at me, Lorelei ordered her followers to go out of the room. It's just two of us in the room now.

I gave her a dumbfounded look, "Er… Lorelei? Why did you come to me with your whole brigade?"

Oh boy… she doesn't look amused. "It's because you didn't reply to me after the deadline. Did you really think you could run away from me? No, dear. You can't run away from me. Or rather, you will never be able to run away from me."

Okay… That's scary. What's with that hollow look in her eyes? I mean, I came here because I want to stay away from her.

「 Oswald used Lie. 」"I'm taking a break from all of this?"

"I doubt it. You only have an Enforcer job to do. And you've only worked for 3 years. Moreover, why are you saying like you are not sure what to say?" 「 But it failed. 」

"I didn't reply to you because of the difference in our status, okay?", oh god. I snapped at her. She went silent for a while after that and she looks absolutely furious.

"Do you really think I care about that between us? You were my first friend! MY, VERY, FIRST, FRIEND! The only one I can fully trust! I don't trust even my family like that! If… If even you walk away from me, what am I suppose to do?", she broke down. That made me looked like a dick. I didn't know that she thought of me like her one and only friend. Doesn't she have friends other than me?

"Er… Lorelei? Don't you have friends other than me?", I asked the obvious.

"Of course not! Those who come to me, all of them came because they wanted something from me. They are not friends. They are nothing but parasites. But you, you are not like them. You stay with me because I'm "Lorelei" with "Barthomeloi" slapped behind my name. Not because of the insignificant name "Lorelei" stuck in front of "Barthomeloi". Do you know how much I was happy? To have a friend just like others? Don't get me wrong. I'm proud of being a Barthomeloi. But being a Barthomeloi comes with downsides too. Being a Lord, I don't have anyone I can call a friend. And I'm having a hard time dealing with politics. I really need a shoulder to lean on. I need a friend to talk out everything from my heart. Is it something too much to ask?", she ranted. Okay, that's official. I was a dick. I was running away from her while she thought of me as someone, she holds dear.

I must make it up with her somehow. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't know that you thought of me like that. I'll do anything to make it up with you." Her eyes sparkle. "Anything?", she asked. Well, here goes nothing. "Anything."

Then she starts undressing while saying, "Then I'll make sure that you won't be running away from me." Wait… what? "Lorelei… what are you doing?"

"Making sure that you won't be running away again. I've read a book that says 'Force yourself on your partner if you don't want them to run away from you'". What the hell?! I swat dropped, "Who wrote that book?"

She pondered for a while. "Hmm… as far as I remembered, the author's name was D. Wizard with a flower on it." What?! Who the hell has D. Wizard as a pen name? I promise I won't beat you to death. But, first thing first. "Lorelei, we shouldn't do this. We are friends, aren't we? Friends don't do stuff like this. Only couples do like this", I tried to reason with her.

"That's okay. We're going to get married after all." Just like that, she dropped a bomb. "We are?", I asked to make sure. "What? Did you forget the promise we made?", oh boy. Her eyes are scary.

"No? I mean it was the promise we made as a child. I didn't think that you would take it to your heart." It was years ago. Like, when we were 7. I would likely forget it if she doesn't remind me.

"Why do you think I worked my way up to the position of vice-director? It is because if I have a high position, no one can question my decision. I've worked so hard just because I want to marry you! You also need to work hard too. The political mess is pretty bad in the clock tower, you know? You also need to work up to at least Brand class. Now, let's get this over with," she keeps talking while undressing.

After fully undress, she came closer to me and started undressing me too. Damn… how come this girl is too strong? Oh right, she's one of the strongest magus in the world. Of course, she'll be strong. *Sigh* I'll just go with the flow.

"Er… Lorelei? They will hear from the outside," I reminded. There's no use avoiding her now. The only way is I need to work hard my way up the ranks. "Don't worry. I've already set up the Bounded Field. I thought you've already known that Barthomeloi is the perfectionist," she looked at me like I'm an idiot. "Enough talk; let's start," she crawls her way toward me.

And that night, I evolved from boy to man. It was the first time for both of us. So, it was a little awkward for both of us at first. But, we somehow managed to finish the deed.

In the morning

I woke up with the sound of birds chirping. When I open my eyes, the first thing I saw was a beautiful woman sleeping like a cat beside me. Now that I look at it, she doesn't look like one of the most dangerous women on the earth at all. She looks like a girl, I mean, a woman that needs help with her socialization. I think it was because I moved; she slowly started to wake up.

"Good morning, Oz," she rubs her eyes. "Morning Lorelei. Do you want a cup of hot chocolate?" As a chocolate lover, I offered her my favorite. "No, tea please," she replied.

What? "Sigh… British and their tea," I muttered. "Did you say something?" she glared. Wow… talk about being sharp-eared. "Nothing Mam'," I replied quickly.

I get up quickly from the bed and make a cup of tea for her. Hmm… I have some ingredients to make breakfast. I should make some for her. After that, I go back to the room Lorelei is in. "Here you go. Buttered toast with bacon, scrambled eggs, and some beans. Plus, here's your tea." I put the tray in front of her. She took a bite, "Hmm… not as good as our chef but still acceptable."

"Thanks for the compliment, I guess. Now, what are we gonna do? I mean, I can still work as an enforcer. But, for our relationship…" as I am saying, she interrupted. "We will stay the same as always. We'll get marry after nobody can challenge my position in the association and you ranked up to Brand rank."

"Okay, I'll just have to work hard and get myself a name in the association just like Magus Killer." She raised her brow, "Why are you keeping him as a standard?"

"Cuz he's cool. I've worked with him in the past. He's good. He knows what he was doing. So, it is not wrong to keep him as a standard," I told her. "Suit yourself then," she replied.

Present

Okay. The past me was a dick. And that D. Wizard with a flower on it. Isn't that Merlin? That Dick Wizard is screwing over us even while he's still trapped in Avalon. That half incubus and his flirting behavior. And the last part. It seems I've worked together with Kiritsugu. Calm down me. It's not the time for fanboyism. Now, what are my element and origin?
