When Kane reached the exit of the town, he saw a group close to fifty enemies chasing him. It was quite the number and he could hear the sound of more of them in the distance approaching. It was a bit dangerous to face that many enemies, but it was also a good chance.
Kane disappeared in the darkness of the night and then the enemies clicked their tongue since that area was almost completely dark. They couldn't let a Monster escape like that after the creature just killed dozens of their allies.
The people quickly recovered the torches and lit them before moving. Still, before they actually could move away from the town, they heard a high pitched sound. Before long, the soldiers began to fall after having their bodies being impaled by the spears that Kane threw… it would slow him down, carrying that many, after all.
