"Well, you've done me a favor. Shame I won't be able to pay you back, because you'll be dead." The kneeling man laughed as he glared into my eyes.

"What are you talking about? You're down a leg and completely frozen in place." I stood up with a arrogant air with my spirit sword. I placed it next to his neck.

"What were you talking about? Do I look like I'm losing?" I questioned. The spirit sword was so sharp that the sword gave him a bleeding cut with just a light touch. The freezing effect continued throughout his neck, completely freezing the right half of his face. Even with all of that, he kept up his sneering face as the ice slowly creeped towards the other side of his face.

"I guess I'll need more to convince you to give up" I turned my blade and cleanly sliced off his right arm. The ice instantly froze his blood, so there were no chances of him bleeding out. As he howled in pain, I squatted down to his kneeling figure.

"Just give up, you can easily get a new arm as a god."

He ignored my offer as he continued with his own speech.

"Do you know why I took all that energy from you without using it?"

"Because you're too stupid to use it?"

"It's because..."

「Frozen Avatar」looked down and began mumbling something.

"What's that? I didn't hear you."

I leaned in even closer, until I was practically breathing down his face. It was a attack spell.

".... and may the Lord of All Evil Lucifer smile upon you"

I flinched and pulled back, summoning a heavy shield of ice as a explosion of pure power completely shattered it within a blink of the eye.

Pure black aura surrounded him as he grinned ear to ear with a crazed smile.

"You're a god!" I shouted as he unleashed his demonic powers. "Why did you resort to demonic powers?!"

"Thanks for the energy so I didn't have to spend any, you idiot!"

I looked on in disbelief. He corrupted his Holy Ice energy as his sky-blue armor turned pitch black.

I quickly searched through my memories.

There are multiple humanoid races in this world, so many that I lost count. But to humans, most of them are grouped under one name: monsters. The other two were Demons and Humans. Humans were the lowest in the food chain, at least in my world. To them; monsters were the lowest of the low scum, while demons are the evil beings.

Demons... Gods...

I had a flashback to his chant. "and may the Lord of All Evil Lucifer smile upon you..." Lucifer was a fallen angel!

So that's how he could corrupt his energy within seconds!

"What are you blanking out in the middle of a fight for?" I flinched as I jumped to the side. He zoomed past me with a shattered half of his shield. Fresh blood flowed out of my arm that he cut.「Frozen Avatar」flexed his hand, in awe of his newfound power. His new green horns tremble with power as they glisten in the reflections of my ice castle.

"Give up. I'm using a forbidden art that turns my holy aura into evil. During this one way process, my power multiplied many times. My aura level is definitely higher than yours." To prove his point, he unleashed his aura, which pushed me backwards as I fell on my back.

"Are you ready to give up yet? You have no hope of winning."

I pushed myself up and laughed. "Hmm? And why would I lose to a green horn?" Horns as black as the void slowly grew out of my forehead as a immense power filled me. Excruciating pain filled my body as I screamed in pain.

"Wh- what!? How!?"

"I am the demon king after all."
