Chapter 66 Something Doesn't Seem Right

Aidan slapped Gomon's face. "Gomon! Wake up!"

The short man was still in a daze. His eyes glowing and spinning with purple light. It was like a bright nebula dotted with stars.

This was probably the brainwashing effect. But he didn't know what to do.

'What if I punch him with fate energy?'

It didn't hurt to try. Well, it might hurt for Gomon.

Aidan surged his fate energy and condensed them into his right arm. With gritted teeth, he punched Gomon in the gut.

OOF!

Gomon woke up and vomited what he ate last night. The purple glow in his eyes disappeared. He wiped his mouth and looked at Aidan.

"What the hell are you doing?"

Aidan ignored his questions and grabbed his face before checking his eyes. It was gone. And Gomon wasn't in a daze anymore. "Fortunately, that worked."

"What? What worked?"

"There's no time to explain. We have to find the others first."
