Orihime's emotional inner monologue

a few days passed

Yami was sulking around as Yachiru and Zaraki were dragged back to the Soul Society by Yamamoto himself. Hiro saw them off and Yami gave Yachiru a new candy bag, full of endless candies. It was an emotional parting for the kids.

Hiro watched as Yachiru gave Yami a kiss on his cheek and a handkerchief as she left, the kid literally fainted with hearts in his eyes. Zerotwo and Hiro looked at him on the ground, Hiro rubbed his eyes and sighed while Zerotwo giggled.

Currently

Hiro was waiting in Kisuke's basement with Yami, Kisuke sighed "Why?" Hiro said with a smile "Yami wants to go see Hueco Mundo!" Yami raised his hand and said happily "Mommy gave us permission!" Hiro choked and Kisuke chuckled "Still need permission to leave the house, eh?" Hiro coughed and said "Still not making a move on Yoruichi, eh?"

Kisuke clicked his tongue and blinked, noticing that in that moment his hat had been taken yet again. He smirked "Kido 175, Return!" the hat appeared back on Kisuke's head and Hiro said "You really cam up with a Kido to return your hat to you?!" Kisuke said "Pretty cool, eh?"

Yami said "Kido 175, return!" and the hat appeared on his head, Kisuke blinked and shouted "MY HAT!"

Ichigo, Ishida, and Chad appeared and Kisuke got his hat back before yada yada'ing before he opened a gate to Hueco Mundo. Hiro flashed into the portal and flew away, leaving the 3 in the dust as he went to Hueco Mundo with Yami.

He was interested in Hueco Mundo too!

The duo arrived in a black world, Yami said "Wow! It's a desert." Hiro chuckled and said "Yep. Cool, eh?" Yami slumped and Hiro chuckled as he flashed through the sand, taking in all the sights.

They flickered around and Hiro said with a smile "The best part is, you do all the damage you want and there's nothing to be careful of." he flickered to his Quincy form and pulled on a bow made of Reishi, firing an arrow into the distance and blowing an entire sand dune to smithereens.

He reverted to normal and Yami clapped "Destruction is fun!" Hiro chuckled and said "Not too much, don't tell Mommy." Yami nodded seriously, Hiro looked at him and said "I swear to god... If you double cross me, I'm going to give you the spanking of your life." Yami replied "Don't worry, I won't! Heh."

Hiro said "I don't like that 'heh', what are you plotting." Yami waved his hands and said "Nothing, nothing. I promise." Hiro narrowed his eyes and said "You better not. My hands are itchy, I might just beat you senseless." he turned back and added "I wonder if your little girlfriend will recognize you after?"

Yami froze and said "Daddy, I won't! Haha!" as he started to sweat, Hiro smirked and they flickered away.

They appeared on a couch in a room.

Orihime was on the ground, looking out a barred window and talking to herself "I wonder if it was a good idea for me to come here..." Yami whispered "She's having an emotional internal monologue!" Hiro said "Shush! Let her have her moment."

Orihime turned her head and saw Hiro and Yami looking at her, eating candies.

She said "Hiro-sama?!" Hiro mumbled "Sama?!" Yami waved "Yo! Want some candy?" Orihime mumbled "Candy? Okay!" Yami gave her some candies and they ate quietly, very strange. Hiro leaned back and waited.

He didn't need to wait long.

Orihime shouted "WAIT, HOW DID YOU GET HERE?!" Hiro smiled and said "We came through a portal, obviously!" Yami added "How else could we have gotten here? Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaka." Orihime blushed and said "Sorry..."

Hiro smacked Yami and said "Anyway, Orihime, have you been practicing your world shaking powers?" Orihime said "Huh? No, I-" the door opened and Ulquiorra walked in. Hiro looked at him and waved saying "You really should be training at all times. Those powers of yours are incredible!"

Ulquiorra's eyes glazed over and he turned around before walking away and his eyes turned to normal. Hiro altered his memories to believe that he came and asked Orihime some questions, but obviously no such thing happened.

Orihime said "What did you do?" Hiro said "Don't worry about him, let me ask you something. What do you think of Ichigo, eh?" he wiggled his eyebrows and added "Let me hear, EVERYTHING." Orihime blushed and held her cheeks saying "Ohh. Well.. I... You know... He... Umm..."

Yami chuckled and stuffed his face with candies.

Hiro teased her before saying "Anyway! I forgot. We're off topic. Back to what I was saying before. Your powers are more than healing and making barriers." he waved his finger and 'tsk tsk'd' Orihime was confused and Hiro explained "Your power is to reject. The emphasis is on 'Reject', you can reject, quite literally, anything. Your 'healing power' is rejecting the damage done, your barrier is rejecting outside force, your Tsubaki is rejecting the space when his barrier is. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?"

Orihime shook her head and Hiro smiled "If you wanted, with enough practice, you could 'reject' someone's entire existence. Think about it like this, you use your healing powers on a Hollow, who is already fine. You could theoretically 'reject' or 'revert' them back to nothing. Potentially, even reject time in a space where only you can move. Or reject space in front of you, making a portal to teleport far away."

Hiro flipped his palm and made an Ice person as he said "You could even create a barrier inside someone." the barrier was made around the person's waist and the lower half fell, the barrier disappeared and the top half fell as well. Hiro smiled and said "It's more than healing or barrier making. You're rejecting the world, time, space, anything you want."

Hiro smiled and continued "Maybe, you could even reject ethereal things like emotions. Or memories. Or even organs. There's even the potential for you to reject the aging process and become immortal."

Orihime's eyes widened and Hiro smiled "You see. It's not that you're weak, it's that you don't have enough practice and your mind isn't open. Think outside the box of healing and barrier making and the possibilities are endless! You could even become god." Yami looked at his dad weirdly and Hiro coughed saying "Maybe not. Anyway, with enough practice you could be the strongest! Forget about Ichigo protecting you, you can protect him!"

Orihime's eyes shined and she said "Really!?" Hiro nodded and smiled saying "I will teach you, but you can't tell anyone. I don't want to get involved with the things going on around here." Orihime nodded frantically and Hiro patted her head, his grin widening in excitement and turning a bit evil.
