2 - Loki
Well i have entered the multiverse. Next step to find where i am. Going through Cosmos. I caught glimpse of glowing cosmic tree which was green in colour.
"Is that loki holding yggdrasil of timelines? Well lets just say hello to him." Going towards him, i can see the tree changing itself something akin thick bark barrier.
"Hey Loki, god of mischief, son of Odin and Frigga, and self varient fucker." I greeted him playfully. I might be Monarch but i haven't let the kid inside me die when i became adult.
"Who are you and what do you want" Loki asked with vigilance. Well its true to be wary of stranger. Since stranger danger .
"I am Monarch of Shadows and King of Dead. As for what do i want. Nothing more than to have chat with you." I told him as i stood outside the bark barrier. I can easily get rid of it but i know they are made up timelines, originating from MCU. I ain't timeline destroyer killing untold amount of lives, so I'll just wait for him rather brute forcing in.
"And Why do you want to have chat with me , Shadow Monarch? "
"Well simply because i know your whole story, the Avengers, you fucking your own variant sylphie which is kind of advance masturbation or selfcest or incest if you consider her your twin sister, TVA, Kang or better known as He Who Remains. I watched the whole series and movies about you." I told him with smirk cause i saw face getting irritated when mentioned him fucking his varient. I mean he just had a kiss but its always fun to tease someone.
"I DID NOT SLEPT WITH SYLPHIE. WE JUST HAD A ONE KISS. ONLY ONE KISS." Loki shouted at me in annoyance. Clearly not focused on other important stuff but yeah, he is easy to annoy i guess.
"Alright alright I'll believe you. Now can we have a chat or something? Aren't you gonna invite me in your crib?"
"No."
That was his answer. Understandable.
So i just stayed outside waiting for time to pass while trying to make small talk. He didn't respond at first but when i played the Avengers endgame on my mana powered TV that pulled out from my personal storage. He started asking questions and stuff.
And i told him that he is part of comic and movies. I mean I will not go around by telling people that they are just piece of entertainment for people of Omniverse and give them existential crisis unless they can handle it. This Loki went through a lot and seen wierd shit so he can understand.
Only he didn't and it took me some time to stop his depression/panic and explain him about greater Omniverse. Like we all products of imagination or simply our life somehow is shown to outsiders in form of entertainment.
During this time, he let me inside and we became good friend. I obviously improved his crib. Making it go from stone seat to a multistorey house. I also made him Man of Culture. I am proud to say Loki has became a weeb. My goal is spread anime culture and make everyone appreciate anime titties.
Anyways i also helped to attach all the timelines on his back so his hands can be free. Just like Dr.Octavious but infinite green timeline instead of mechanical hentai tentacles.
So here we are, inside his traditional japanese room filled with mangas, videos games, snacks, comics and anime figurines etc. A perfect closet weeb room. With both our lower body inside kotatsu heated table. Which is basically a table with blanket attached and heater.
"It's been long time huh. How long has it been exactly" Taking a swing of my cold beer. I asked as i looked outside the window. The beautiful cosmos. Both colorful and dangerous.
"By earth standards, its been about 100 years or so." He replied as he took a sip from his bottle.
"I guess its time for me to find a universe to settle in." I told him and he definitely had sad expression on his face. He already knows that i need to anchor to an universe so I can settle and so can my shadows enter. After that i am free to travel though. But he will be stuck in this tree and will be lonely again.
He stayed silent and just took another deep gulp of beer.
"Don't worry. I'll comeback time to time to meet you." I assured him which made his face better than before.
"Let me help you choose a timeline." Loki offered help but i swiftly declined.
"Thanks for help but me being under a timeline you have responsibility for will cause a problem for you. I'll look for another universe which is isn't bound to you. "
Loki doesn't actually control all the timelines in the infinite multiverse. He just controls the MCU universe and the infinite timelines/universe emerging from it. He only takes a small corner in the multiverse.
"By the way. If i find Loki similar to you, how should i deal with him?" I asked as i can see his emotion changing.
"If he is similar to me with my mother demise as well. I want you to steer him in right direction. Maybe discipline him so he can flush out his arrogance and superiority/inferiority complex. And also save my mother. I still re-regret what i have done. How much pain i have caused due to my foolishness. I don't want my mother being hurt. Whether she is from mine universe or another."
I can hear his voice breaking down and tears pouring out in his eyes. Even with power to manipulate timelines, he still is powerless to give her mother a son she truly deserved.
I patted him on shoulder and gave a smile.
"Don't worry. I promise to save your mother and discipline the high-ass loki."
He chuckled and gave a confident nod. And so i left behind loki to find a universe. I pick the one which is adjacent to MCU. That's means it will be similar to MCU with some changes. Also it won't be under Loki control as it is adjacent to MCU, not under it.
And so i have entered the vast Universe and made my way towards the earth. I encountered a magical barrier on which i just forcefully poked a hole in it and entered.
