SPACE??

" Please shut up and think of a way to solve our problem," messaging his temples Li Jun pleaded.

He was fed up and felt helpless with the continuous crying sound blaring in his mind. He can't even mute this damn system.

" You don't understand my pain! How can you? You have a home and husband to take care of you but for me! no one is there for me," DuoDuo hit his host where it hurt the most.

" You...You trying to pick a fight with me!" Li Jun gritted his teeth in anger.

Emoji with a stuck tongue displayed on the screen, " Well, tell me if I am wrong."

" DuoDuo can't you lower the price or have something I can use at the moment with the lowest price possible," choosing to ignore DuoDuo's teasing he changes the topic.

Thinking emoji is displayed on the screen showing DuoDuo is deep in thought but Li Jun knew it was just an act.

His system is just a drama queen who likes to throw tantrums.

" Price can't be lowered but if you complete a certain task a day I can let you have a surprise box a day," this took Li Jun by surprise who wasn't expecting anything from his greedy system.

" Really!" Li Jun suspiciously asked.

" Umm, it's a daily task given to you by the system," DuoDuo informed.

" Huh? Why wasn't I informed in my last life," Li Jun narrowed his eyes as he looked at the system.

Exasperated emoji displayed on the screen as if he was tired of talking to an idiot," It's for you to become strong and if you remember correctly you were already at the pinnacle of your life when you opened the system so you don't need it but now the situation is changed."

Li Jun was over the moon for finally seeing the way out of this.

He frowned and scolded the intelligent system," Oh! so intelligent DuoDuo, Shouldn't you mention this first rather than arguing and lamenting over things!"

" Humph! I forgot ok, you don't have to be so sarcastic," an angry emoji displayed on the screen with a mechanical voice.

Without even the emoji he could dispense the emotions of DuoDuo.

" Would you stop showing emojis? I can feel which emotions you are trying to show," Li Jun was annoyed with the continuous change of the emoji on the screen.

In return for Li Jun's request, DuoDuo just displayed the middle finger on the screen.

" You!...haa..... forget it! tell me about this daily task administrated by you and will it be difficult for me to perform?" Li Jun's nerves bulged but he didn't want to argue with a system so he let the matter go and asked the things which are more important than arguing.

" As the system attached to you, I won't make things difficult for you, after all, I have to ultimately depend on you for survival. I will scan your body and the task will be given according to your physical abilities and the things you feel are quite difficult to do. I do remind you the task will all depend on your physical and spiritual abilities so don't come and blame me if there are things you can't complete," DuoDuo explained and warned his host about the possible difficulties.

Li Jun felt the conditions were good and he could do it but what he didn't know was how F***ed up his life would be and will think he should have asked for the examples beforehand.

" Ok, then come and scan my body and mentality," Li Jun sat in the meditation pose and urged the system to scan the body.

DuoDuo did without arguing but when he finished scanning it was startled. It scans for 2 or three times but the result is still the same.

" Host!! Host!"

"What? why are you yelling!" Li Jun felt like his head would burst out with DuoDuo's continuous yell.

" I found a trace of great mana in your body but there is a barrier between you and the mana as if they are in two different spaces and times," DuoDuo tried to explain the things it failed.

" Are you sure?" Li Jun suspiciously asked. He didn't feel anything weird in his body so it was difficult for him to believe.

" Umm, I feel it from your wrist. Hurry! look over it!" DuoDuo urged its idiot who was still in a daze.

The reason why DuoDuo didn't find out about this abnormality in the earlier body scan was because it was focused on its host mana core only and as soon as he found it was missing he was too busy lamenting over its loss that it ignored all other abnormalities on it's host body.

Rolling his eyes Li Jun folded his sleeve and looked at his right wrist, his brows furrowed when he saw the small stars there.

" Look, DuoDuo I have tattoos here, aren't they cool," with fascination Li Jun gently touched the small stars, he even bragged about it, but before DuoDuo could answer the space distorted and Li Jun vanished into thin air.

When Li Jun opened his eyes he was in the big meadow, he could hear running water and smell the fresh air and fruits. He was stunned. He couldn't believe what was in front of him.

However, before he could enjoy the scenery, he felt his breath ragged. He felt suffocated like a fish that was out of the water he began to convulse.

' DuoDuo do something! I am going to die at this rate!' Li Jun yelled at DuoDuo in his mind but his system just rolled its eyes at him.

"Just think of your previous surroundings!" DuoDuo instructed its foolish host.

As instructed Li Jun pictured his previous surroundings and as soon as he pictured his bed, he was in his bedroom.

As soon as he felt his bed he slumps onto it like a starfish.

He took deep breaths and finally calmed down.

"What just happened? Where was that place and why did I feel so suffocated?" catching his breath Li Jun mumbled. He didn't expect an answer but DuoDuo being his good self answered all his doubts and questions.

"That was a space. It seems the original has space in his body and you were lucky and unlucky enough to have it," DuoDuo shook its head and let out a sigh thinking about the space.
