FRIGHTENED LI JUN

Wang Wei is currently in a state of panic; his adorable wife's fever unexpectedly rose last night. With no one else at home but them, he had to reluctantly leave his unwell wife for the entire night to find a doctor.

Despite his desperate search, he didn't find anyone willing to save his wife. They all declared that his wife was cursed, and if they checked him, they would be cursed as well. However, he was too stubborn to let his wife die, so he entered the forest in the hope of finding some herbs.

Carrying a handful of herbs commonly used to cure fever, he returned home, hopeful to find his wife still alive.

With trembling hands, Wang Wei opened the front door. The gloomy and silent atmosphere inside made his breath quicken in panic. He hurriedly walked to his room, calling out to his wife in desperation, hoping to hear his wife's soft greeting.

" Dear, are you there? De.e...aaar?" One could notice a slight tremor in his voice caused by the fear of losing his wife.

Not receiving any reply, he felt his heart sink into his stomach. With a trembling hand, he gently turned the doorknob and entered the room. What he saw inside left him utterly baffled.

His cute little wife had his face against the pillow and was sleeping peacefully. Even letting out a cute snore like a little kitten purring in delight.

He noticed that his wife's complexion was ruddy as if the one who was withering in the pain last night wasn't him at all.

Though Wang Wei was confused he was happy to see his wife healthy.

Wanting to check his temperature, Wang Wei softly walked toward his sleeping wife.

He slowly stretched his hand in an attempt to touch his wife's forehead but before he could touch it, his hand was tightly grasped.

Wang Wei smiled as he looked at his wife; however, he was startled to find sharp eyes glaring at him, filled with vigilance.

"Wife, did you have a nightmare?" Wang Wei asked, seeing the vigilant look in his wife's eyes. Worriedly, he hugged him and began to rub his back, trying to help him relax.

But what he didn't know was all this was only startling his wife.

While he was thinking about how to live his life from now on, Li Jun fell asleep and only woke up when he felt someone approaching him.

He has always been a light sleeper so even without his powers he could still unconsciously feel if someone approaches him.

So when he felt someone trying to touch him he was fully alert and was ready to fight but what he didn't expect was to be suddenly hugged by the other and called his wife.

Wife?

Only then did his brain register that this person in front of him was none other than his HUSBAND?

"..... Wang Wei?" Li Jun searched for the name of the original's husband and called out.

"Hmm," Wang Wei tighten his hold on his wife and buried his face in the crook of his neck.

He took a deep breath and sniffed his wife. When he smelled usual the sweet and fresh mint and honey smell he was happy and the happiness boosted to the sky when he felt his wife tremble in delight.

He couldn't believe his wife was fine as if a miracle had occurred.

He thanked god.

When Li Jun felt Wang Wei sniff him he tremble in fright.

He has always been a straight man and now he was in the arms of some man sniffing him around like a dog sniffing his food, he was shaken to the core.

Wang Wei unwillingly separated from his wife and looked affectionately at his wife who was cutely looking at him.

He gently tucked the hair that fell on his wife's face behind his ear and lovingly called, "Wife...."

When he heard Wang Wei call him his wife, Li Jun was frightened. He slightly quivers.

For now, he could accept that he is the weakest in the world and even that he has a husband, but he couldn't tolerate being called a 'wife' by another man. He felt goosebumps rising all over his body whenever Wang Wei called him 'wife' affectionately.

"Li Jun...."

"Huh?..."

"Li Jun, okay," pleaded Li Jun.

"Won't you?" When he didn't hear Wang Wei's response, Li Jun asked again. His big brown eyes were full of desperation and looked so adorable that all Wang Wei wanted at that moment was to kiss those eyes.

Unaware of how cute he looked at that moment, he awaited Wang Wei's agreement.

If he knew he would have cursed himself for having such a beautiful face and begged to have him dead and not alive anymore.

Wang Wei liked to call Li Jun 'wife' affectionately, he felt another person belongs to him and they are intimate but when he was looked at like that by his wife he couldn't deny him at all.

After all, who could reject their wife when they act coy with them?

'Ok, I will call him wife secretly then,' thinking like that Wang Wei nodded his head.

"Ok, from now on I will call you JunJun," Li Jun was happy to see Wang Wei agreeing with him but when he heard Wang Wei calling him JunJun all his happiness vanished in a second.

" Wang Wei Listen....."

" Now, JunJun tell me how did your fever go down?" before he could correct Wang Wei's way of addressing him, Wang Wei began to question him about the situation.

" I don't know. After you left to look for a doctor I fell asleep and when I woke up in the middle of the night feeling thirsty my fever had gone down and I felt fine," Li Jun tells his situation with a little bit of truth hiding the fact he wasn't the original one.

Wang Wei was confused but looking at his healthy JunJun he was happy enough to brush off those tiny detail.

And thinking about JunJun's special condition he thought it was possible, after all, nobody knew how the body without core and mana functions.

Wang Wei nodded his head and look at his JunJun, "Even if you feel fine right now, you should still take a rest. I will go and make some nutritious breakfast for you."

Giving instructions to take a rest Wang Wei patted his wife's head and left to make breakfast for his wife.

However, as soon as he walked a little his feet got struck by the rag and he fell.

He calmly stood up and walked out of the room but one could see his ears turn red indicating how embarrassed he was.

Li Jun was startled when he saw his husband trip on a rag but he was even more dumbfounded when he saw Wang Wei casually stand up and walk out.

'Isn't he too clumsy to trip like that?' Li Jun couldn't help but shake his head, totally forgetting he was the one who died tripping in his blanket.🤣🤣
