chapter 12

I eventually unlatched myself from her nipple and sat up slightly, rubing my eyes. She pulled up her top and smiled down at me, I looked up at her and met her gaze and turned away. I was mad at myself but most of all embarrassed, so much so that I buried my bright red face into her chest. I stuck my thumb in my mouth and curled up tightly against them both as the group dismissively conversed around me. Eventually, I fell asleep and began snoring softly. When I woke up I was in the bed, fresh diaper, and my footie pjs on. I sat up in a daze and looked around me, my daddy was in bed beside me, along with the girl from yesterday on my other side. I slowly started to panic and eventually started to sob. The girl sat up and reached for me to comfort me, I turned away slightly and sobbed harder, I was confussed and didn't know what to do and neither did she. She reached over for Garrett and shook him slightly, he opened his eyes and just pulled me on top of him, I laid there shaking and crying. He then said to the girl, "Hey Rose, can you go get a lukewarm bottle of milk?" Rose slipped out from under the blankets and walked out of the room wearing only a long shirt, I sighed a small sigh of relief when I saw it wasn't one of Garrett's. I twisted around in Garrett's arms, whining out loudly. He tightened his grip and whispered softly "Nothing happened, Princess you need to calm down." I breathed out softly and buried my face into his chest, softly sniffling trying to calm down. Rose walked back in the room on light feet and handed Garrett the bottle as he sat up with me in his grasp. I slightly turned my head to the side and reached out for the bottle, which was already placed at my lips. I latched hard onto the bottle as Rose climbed back into the bed. Rose looked over at me and reached her hand out towards me, I unlatched myself from the bottle and babbled at her, smiling. I slightly reached out for her and she pulled onto her lap and cradled me in her arms warmly. Garrett handed her the bottle and slipped back under the blankets, she offered me the bottle and I latched back on. Rose looked down at me and played with my hair, smiling warmly. I reached my hands up towards her face and placed my hands on the side of her face. She hummed softly while feeding me and rolled us both over and snuggled me softly.
