Preparation - 2

Today is last day at home, in the past month I have learnt many thing including things about magical society.

There is a lot of subtle discriminating going on with muggle born wizard. It is more like society is designed to identify just with single glace a person is mud blood, Half blood or pureblood. Well first all pureblood children are given golden brooch with house symbol, name and rank on it since birth while halfblood are issued from ministry which renew yearly and Muggle borns are given from institute they are affiliated with.

Although wearing brooch is not compulsory but is a form of magical id. So it is needed to enter every magical institute

Also in Ministry Of Magic about 1/3 of all ministry sits are reserved of sacred 23 family, other 2/3 sits are given on vote based and voting in done by these family, wizards above grandmaster level and ministry officials. So, almost all law has some loophole that allows 23 families to remain untouchable.

Harry went to his farm house since last two weeks. Grandpa James also told me something interesting that all magical institutes have been warded to fry any electronic instrument with IC. But simple electronic appliances like toaster, torch and fan works but they only work if its run on battery as wizards don't have electrical connection due to secrecy reasons.

I have also tried to study and make notes and memorise. I can use memory portion to learn quickly but Grandpa advised against taking any portions if not needed as these portions in long term have side effect and people start having headache. I have also made copy of my wand, and I have now 198 wands. Hehehe. I also wanted to try to do spells but due to Ministry rules I didn't do any. Most of the time I have been compressing my mana in core with mediation guide given in the book.

Next morning, I wake up and started to do meditation (mana compression).knock on my door "Open the door Dudley, I have something important to talk about." It seems harry Is here.

I opened the door " what happen harry, I thought you told me that you would come back at 7am...but right now it is not even 6."

Harry barge into my room and closed the door with a flick of the wand. "Actually Mr. Weasley is coming to pick us up. He would take us to station."

DD: "Mr Weasley!" I was surprised...

HP: "Yes! Oh sorry you don't know who Mr. Weasley is, well he is my father in law." After hearing this my eyes went wide and mouth went wide open 'isn't it too early for this love birds.' Seeing my expression harry tried explain.

HP: "Well it is not what you think it is. You see in old time Wizards used to form marriage contract for future generations so that they can trust each other of any major cooperation. One such contract Grandpa James did when he was on death bed and father was in order of Phoenix. This contract was don't so that Weasley family would run our portion company till next Heir of potter Lord Marriage into Weasley. So Mr Weasley has been running the business and depositing portion of profit into Pottor account In Gringotts. So, that's how he became my FIL."

DD: But...WTF ... you know right you are not even 12, bro you haven't even hit puberty. And you got engaged already. Well Congratulations ;) J.

HP: Hey this is not time to joke. But it is what it is. Grandpa says that it is very common to get arrange Marriage in wizarding society.

Harry takeout a amulet and gives it to me "this is gift for you. It prevent and alerts if someone tries to read your mind."

I took the amulet and it has some Runes on it that seems to be using my magic very slowly. It is very less and can easily be used by me without any significant mana depletion. "Harry don't you need this more than me, you know your status and risks right."

Harry smile and pulled out a thick amulet from his shirt with "Power stone" in its center. "you see this one I got custom made for me from Ministry of magic, this amulet not only prevent mind reading but also rebound if someone tries to read."

DD: That's cool. But I didn't knew that ministry sold magical artefact.

HP: You see after Grindelwald became minister of Magic he Has Commercialize many aspect of ministry. This include patent of runes and Sales of ministry made artefacts and portions. This was done in order to increase magic versatility. And development of magical society.

'Well it seems Grindelwald has changed many things. I just hope he is not two faced'

After some more chit chat, Harry taught me some etiquette till 8 am. How to exchange greetings what to wear and what not to, when to shake hands and when not to. How to do some small talks.

It seems he would become a Fine Potter lord. So we had breakfast. And Soon we were both wore suits. I was wearing my last birthday suit. While harry seems to have brought new one.

I am ready for new magical world.
