Only a few knew that this Trinal Savannah area was once a powerful kingdom helmed by a renowned alchemist and a sage king who wished to bring peace to their kingdom and fundamentally strengthen their people to make their kingdom stronger.

And they did try to bring peace with various philosophical and create a solution that fundamentally strengthened their people's physique for a greater boost, or so they thought.

But If one was happy, the other would be sad. If one was enjoying a feast at a place, someone at another corner just died of starvation.

In their pursuit, they became desperate, and desperation made them prey to a horrifying entity that fed on ethereal elements of life.

Turning the entire kingdom into its lair as every living went through a nightmare, the horrifying entity from the outside world transformed everyone into strange creatures, much like those giant clasped palms.

And a two-legged ten meters fish monster with big eyes that wielded four butcher blades with its four arms stood in front of Arlan and Nina, blocking the entry into a courtyard.

After traveling for an hour, they defeated many monsters, and Nina reached level 78 before finally seeing the first building structure.

It was a big, worn-down courtyard infested with weird plants and greenery, giving it a beautiful mix with a creepiness vibe. The fish monster that stood 10 meters away from the courtyard gates had head had four faces. The frontal face was that of a fish, but the other three directional faces were of disfigured creepy humans.

Just as Arlan and Nina stepped within thirty meters of that strange fish monster outside that courtyard, they heard a notification.

Arlan grinned as his frown vanished.

"Of course, we will kill it now and unlock this structure since it might become a useful tool to attract members."

After saying that, Arlan chose to Accept as the barrier blocking him vanished, and he stepped ahead.

Nina also quickly made her choice and entered with Arlan.

The moment they both stepped inside, the silent fish monster loudly screamed, scaring the hell out of various insects and creatures in the surroundings as they released various sounds and cries.

Arlan and Nina's faces turned somber because the boss monster didn't scream just for show!

But just before the monster hit Arlan with one of his blades, a skeleton torso wrapped around him for his protection.

'This didn't go well,' Arlan thought as he was smacked like a bullet leaving a gun barrel, slightly injuring him as he lost 32% of HP.

After spitting a mouthful of blood, Arlan glanced at the monster as his eyes gleamed coldly.

The fish monster screamed in pain as its eyes became bloodshot, and all butcher blades fell from its six hands.

On the other hand, Nina also regained her senses. "Phew, I almost thought we were going to die."

"It's too early to be happy." Arlan narrowed his eyes. "I killed it, but no notification about the boss slaying rang."

The boss screamed again as it was revived, and with that strange scream, it activated some skill as the entire boss field was suddenly covered with knee-level blood pond that slowed them down and banned all sorts of healings!

"Attract its attention. I need a few seconds."

Nina saw the boss turn to her as it was near and dashed.

*Swoosh!*

She immediately used her movement skill and appeared twenty meters away before waving her sword. 'Spirit Blaze Slash.'

A burning flame slash projectile hit the boss, dealing it with zero damage since it was immune to all types of attacks besides purely physical ones.

But she didn't need to damage it because her damage was almost non-existent to the boss against the high-level boss.

'You better do it fast, Arlan! I don't want to die.'

The monster didn't dash at Nina after it got hit. Instead, it pointed its butchers at Nina as they started glowing.

"A-Arlan, this boss is preparing something. Now is the chance to kill it!" Nina shouted, seeing the boss going into preparation for some big attack.

Arlan got three seconds as he finished preparing and opened his eyes, which revealed slight annoyance.

Stretching his arm, a strange black whirly portal with dark green and dark grey hue appeared in front of his palm before he put his hand inside.

'Cardinal of Graves, Stygian of Death.'

'Hazin, the Deathsword of Infernal Realm, come to your master!'

As Arlan pulled the handle of his sword, a skull was pierced through the handle as it shouted.

Arlan looked at the cracking skull, glowing dark green wisps in its eyes but didn't say anything as he pulled out the whole sword.

And his face darkened.

"Wow, I just saw some of your memories. So exciting that you arrived in a new world, master!"

"Tell me what I need to do, master! I will slay all foes for you."

The giant broad sword was roughly two and a half meters long, with a dark green pristine blade and a strange black material stuck to its base, forming a handle pierced into the skull.

The skull had a body and wispy black clothing with black trails oozing out of its ghostly appearance.

"Kill that thing," Arlan coldly ordered.

"Hooray!!"

The ghostly appearance around the great broad sword vanished as it floated and zoomed towards the fish head, who also turned to the sword and unleashed the attack it was preparing.

A whirling dark blood orb full of destructive energy!

But the moment that orb touched the sword, it vanished as if all its energy had died.

The sword continued and pierced the boss monster's head since it had just released its orb and couldn't dodge.
