CHAPTER FIVE: FIRST FRIEND

I have to accept that this is my new life, I have to gather up my courage and conquer all my fears, I have to do this for myself and my family. I have to take this time to settle in and prepare my mind for what is to come. I took the time alone to look round the room, it was purple in color and had two beds which indicated I would be sharing the room with just one person, the room also had a bathroom and restroom, i must admit the room was nice. I didn't need to arrange anything so I just slept off on my bed.

Hearing the sound of splashes of water, I woke up, I saw on my roommates bed, a bag that hadn't been there before and clothes, my roommate was in the bathroom, I wonder how she would be, would she like me. I wonder which kind of creature she would be, I waited for her on my bed with anticipation, few minutes later, a girl with shoulder length black hair came out from the bathroom, she had pale skin and red lips just like me, she was beautiful and had a curvy body, she look at me and smiled, that was the first genuine smile I had been given in this school, she dressed up quickly and walked towards me and suddenly gave me a big hug, I was shocked by her actions and just hugged her back,"hi, my name is Lara, it's nice to meet you, the girl said, we let go of ourselves and I replied,"umm my name is Jane, it's nice meeting you too" ,i said warily, I can't just trust anyone just because of a bright smile, why was she being nice to me,"so where did you come from, how old are you, which group are you in", Lara said without giving me space to answer, that made me laugh, "ohh you have a beautiful smile", Lara said making me stop smiling, "can we be friends?", Lara said confusing me, "why would you want to be friends with me?, you don't even know which group I belong to", i said confused, "pale skin, red lips, you probably have fangs and I hear no heart beat, so you are a vampire and we can't be roommates and not be friends, "sure we can be friends", this girl must not have good ears, how can she not hear my heart beat any ways if I want to survive here I must have at least one friend.
