Chapter 1

Luna POV

I'm a First year in Senior High and I had a crush. His name was Aurelius. He was an athlete. He plays basketball, volleyball, tennis and many more. 12 days before christmas I decided to confess to him and so I asked my friends, Aila and Sheen for advice.

"Are you sure you're gonne confess to him?"

"Confess to him under a mistletoe it is said that it would bring luck for couples and makes your wish come true this christmas"

I face was beet red. Imagining scenarios of what would happen after the confession. Maybe he would accept me and go on a date?

"I'm going to do it later after school"

I feel excited and at the same time nervous. I really wanted to feel the same way my mother and father feel. They started their love on christmas. Christmas is the season of love. Hopefully, I can have one too. Hours passed and class ended, Sheen was squealing and ran towards me.

"Aurelius is coming! quickly fix yourself"

My eyes widened because of the news. I quickly beautified myself with powder and gloss. Sheen sprayed perfume on me to the extent that I coughed.

"Enough! It's too much"

"Sorry, but goodluck"

I feel nervous and excited at the same time. I fiddled with my hands while waiting for him. He is coming. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Hi, Is Luna here?"

"She's Here!"

Aila shouted. My heart was beating fast. Is this coincidence? What would he want from me? Is goddess of love on my side?

"Luna, can you come with me? I need to talk with you"

"Sure"

I followed him nervously then I turned around and saw my friends giving me thumbs up. Please let this go smoothly. We walked and arrived at the school rooftop. He looked at me and examined my face. We were alone together. What if I mess this up?It would be a huge embarrassment. The rooftop was filled with Christmas lights and decorations. Then I looked up the sky It started snowing and saw a mistletoe hanging above us. I cant stop thinking and making imaginary scenarios in my head.

"Uhm, There is something I want to tell you"

"Okaaay? What is it?"

As he was about to speak I closed my eyes and my heart was about to explode. Please say something nice. I clenched my fists in my skirt.

"I like you, Luna"

I opened my eyes from the shock. Did he just say he likes me? My heart was really gonna explode from the shock. I didn't feel the cold because I was hot then I later realized I was blushing. Wait, this may be a prank, I need to confirm this.

"Wait! Wait! you're joking right?"

He looked down and faced me. we made eye contact but he looked away. He held his scarf covering his mouth.

"Idiot, why would I joke about something like this"

His face were beet red. Is he blushing?! My eyes widened when I saw his face. He's too cute.

" Then, I also have something tell you"

He looked at me with those blue eyes. Waiting what I was about to say.

"I also like you. Like a lot. But, you're not my no.1 though Usui Takumi is my no.1 and I have 99999+ imaginary husbands"

Aurelius laughed. He slowly walked towards me then held my hand. It was warm and I couldn't let it go. He leans his forehead over to mine.

"Then it's mutual right? So I ask you now, half in anguish half in hope would you do me the great honor taking me as your man?"

That was too much. It really makes my heart explode out of happinesss. Aurelius then kissed my hand. I looked at him straight into his eyes and answered.

"Yes"

He smiled and hugged me. And that was the first time I received a love confession and the first time I had confessed to the person I liked.
