DIONE (Pov)

We arrived at the Ice cream shop where aunt usually takes us after school.

"I want Mocha." Alice instantly ordered.

"I want Matcha flavor, please." Chloe ordered.

"I will have what aunt wants." I only said and went to find us seats. I was scrolling through my Instagram when I accidentally followed a guy. I was about to cancel it when he accepted the request. I shook my head when he also followed me back.

'Shocks, I should refrain from scrolling too fast.' I scolded myself. Later, Alice, Aunt and Chloe sat on the chair.

"What's wrong?" Chloe looked worried of my expression. I just shrugged and sighed.

"You look problematic with your expression" Alice added. I just reassured them that it was nothing. My eyes wandered around the shop, and I spotted the guy I accidentally followed looking at me. My breathe stopped as my body froze. He averts his eyes on the other way and I immediately blinked and looked at aunt.

"What's wrong, dear?" Aunt asked.

"Nothing Aunt." I said and smiled. Aunt looked assured and just talked to Chloe.

"Alice, do you know that guy?" I asked her. Alice turned to look at me. I eyed and simply shake my head to the position where the guy is at. Alice took a glimpse of the guy's face. She looked at me with eyes wide. She pushes herself close to me.

"I know that guy, he's the same school with Chloe. Why do you ask?" She whispered.

"Well, I accidentally followed his account while scrolling too fast in Instagram." I confessed. Alice looked amused and grabs Chloe's attention.

"Chloe, turn around and look to your left." Alice ordered. Chloe obeyed. She immediately turns her head and her face looked shocked. Aunt looked confused.

"Shit, that's Marco. The basketball team's captain and like the most mysterious guy in my school. He's known to be so mysterious because no one knows his social accounts and his lifestyle." Chloe revealed. I looked confuse by that matter.

"I think the one I accidentally followed was a poser." I commented. Alice also seconded. Chloe looked at me to say about this but Alice already started talking about it. Aunt only laughed at our gossips and just ate our ice cream at peace.

"Any way, we have classes tomorrow. I can't believe I'll be going back to the lab." Alice groaned and Chloe just laughed.

"Remember to take Dione's advice, Alice." Chloe reminded.

"If you do not like your lab partner, just tell your professor, I think she will consider it." Aunt assured her. Alice smiled and hugs Aunt.

"Love you, Nanny." She confessed. Aunt only smiled and pats her head. We were about to go out of the shop when my handkerchief fell off. I was about to take it when someone got it for me.

It was the guy who I accidentally followed! He picked up my handkerchief and handed it to me.

"Here." His deep-baritone voice spoke. I felt chills!

"Um, thank you." I bowed my head as I took it. When I looked up, he was smiling.

"Yeah, new friend on Instagram. Don't hand over my Instagram. Will you?" He asked me nicely. I just nodded.

"Sorry, it was an accident, I scrolled too hard on Instagram." I apologized.

"Nah, it's fine, I figured, I saw you scrolling too hard also." He said and laughed. I was dumbstruck by his laugh. It was umm.. hot?

"Anyway, see you when I see you somewhere, Dione." He said and left with his friends.

I blinked too much. Alice and Chloe approached me.

"What was that?"

"The second we couldn't see you, something good happens."

"Why did Marco approach you?"

"He just handed me my handkerchief, okay? Not a big deal." I convinced them. Alice and Chloe was about to say something when Aunt called us to leave for the mall.

"We're not done yet." Alice and Chloe sharply looked at me. I sighed.

'Oh boy.'

All throughout the trip, they cornered me about Marco, but I always say the same response.

"Like I told you, Marco just handed me my handkerchief because it fell." I felt irritated by this round questions. "If you keep pestering me, I'm getting off the car and go home." I threatened them. They went quiet and say no more. Finally, peace and quiet. I rejoiced at the thought of it.

WE finally arrived home. Aunt asked to retire to her room first. Chloe went home and Alice stayed overnight since she had her uniforms ready here.

"Good night, Alice."

"Good night, Dione."

What a long, tiring day.
