Chapter 29: Two Lives, Two Isekais?

A young girl was currently inside a room, preparing some materials as she began to draw a ritual to summon a demon. Smearing the ground with blood, she silently hoped that this time, summoning a demon this time would yield her a friend.

Yunyun came prepared this time. Bringing so many materials while at the same time even buying from her arch-rival, Megumin's place to increase her chances.

She was disappointed at her first summon being a failure and decided to at least give it another try, being encouraged by Megumin that she might even succeed in summoning(after having bought some items from her) as she started her incantation to summon a demon.

"I, Yunyun from the Crimson Demon Village, heed the call! Come Forth to bind a contract with me!"

-At the same Time-

"Haah, nothing beats a morning sunrise while fishing with a cup of milk in hand...." Hiroki catches his time to relax, thinking so many things and forgetting the basic concept of being a human. Relaxation.

After a day's work, humans tend to relax and be vulnerable for a while. Giving time to do things to their desires. Such as playing games, watching a cute video or even take a vacation to relax and de-stress themselves.

For Hiroki, who was all about doing so many things, he also needs to find time to take a break and enjoy himself.

While some thing he does are for his hobbies, those things aren't meant for relaxation and he also needs to unwind himself from doing those stuff.

He could read mangas/animes he got from the store or even from the other world but Hiroki was done the indoor life, he needs to switch it up and do some outdoor relaxation.

And what better way than to do fishing, a hobby he once did in his past life.

With a Fishing Rod in hand, a milk in another, with a maid to boot, this was a life he definitely wants(ignore the maid as he is too traumatize to explain her existence).

'It would be the worst if...I don't know. Get Isekaied to another world or something...when I let my guard down at this moment.' Hiroki slumps on his chair as he waited for a catch, he became too relaxed that he couldn't notice a growing magic circle below him.

"M-master? T-there's a..." The maid began to try and warn Hiroki.

"Shh...don't disturb me when I'm in my fishing zone..." He just waved his hands to her as he goes back to fish, the sunglasses he was wearing was too reflective to see the bright magic circle below him.

"B-but-" She tried to call to warn him but it was too late as by the time the light was too bright to the point where he would notice the light, It completely envelops him and disappear from where he stand.

"M-master?!"

-Back to the Present-

"Y-yes! I did it! The summoning ritual is a success!" Yunyun celebrated as she saw that a being was inside the circle, seeing that the ritual was a success and finally able to make a friend.

Hiroki on the other hand...

Where am I?

How did I get here?

Too lost, too confused and too lacking in any sense as to why he was suddenly in a dark room with a girl his age and not in his sweet fishing spot.

He tried to try and recall back to his position but...

'Huh? I can't seem to go back to the overworld.' He suddenly found out that he could return to the Naruto world but his coordinates to his Minecraft world was blocked, as if he couldn't return to that world for a set duration.

It seems that there might be some Cooldown time for opening another world as he probably guess that it might take him a month before he could go back.

He decided to answer to the girl who was calling to him as she seem to cry, being ignored all this time while she was the one who summoned him.

"D-did I fail again? Can I really not make any friends?" Yunyun felt like the world was against her, even though the summoning was a success, it seems that the contract she made didn't seem to work on him at all.

"Hmn? Who are-" Hiroki wanted to ask about where he was but his mouth quickly shut and his confused look suddenly turned into a devilishly sexy tone the next moment.

"Miss Yunyun. A pleasure to meet you. I am Hiroki and I will abide to the contract given to me. The payment has been accepted and I will abide by the rules given by the contract.

The rules state:

-I, Hiroki will be Yunyun's best friend and will never betray or lie to Yunyun.

-I will follow the command if my actions may cause trouble for Yunyun.

-I shall serve as Yunyun's aide and will stay by her side until the contract is either null or Yunyun will terminate the contract.

-I may disregard the 2nd rule unless someone harms Yunyun and prioritize Yunyun's safety over others.

Miss Yunyun, are there any more rules you wish to add?" Hiroki gestured neatly, like how an aristrocratic butler would behave uet in his mind....

'WHAT.THE.ACTUAL.F***?!' He completely dumbfounded and can't help but retort yet it seems that he can't move his body due to the sudden shift in the situation.

He doesn't understand what the hells going on.

He completely loses control and suddenly, it seems he had to abide to a contract that he was forcefully signed himself to.

It feels like he and the author had lost the control of this situation as Yunyun shook her head and accepted the contract.

Just then, she suddenly felt weak as something came out of her and a ball of light suddenly flew away before moving towards Hiroki's chest as some part of him was being ripped apart and a ball of light came out and move towards Yunyun.

"Pleasure doing buisiness with you." Then, Hiroki's demeanor quickly changes from a gentlemanly tone to anger like a bipolar person as he quickly charges at Yunyun with fury.

"What the hell did you just do to me?!" Yunyun was too shocked to see the change of demeanor of Hiroki and felt like she did something wrong to him.

"B-but you were nice to me the minute ago-"

"I was nice because someone controlled my body and suddenly force myself to be your friend. Do I care if I'm nice to you at all?" He scoffed, while he feel bad about hurting this girl, he wasn't of a beta as not to see a girl cry.

He was more into adventuring than romance and he wasn't charmed by her cute face at all. To be honest, he is face blind to the point where people had to tell him if the girl was beautiful or not just to know that person's looks.

He often told this to girls and they seem surprised that he didn't care about beauty at all. He was more into figures and personality than looks.

Which is why he tends to reject some girls liking him since even though some guys had told him they were hot, he only sees their personality and figure to tell how he feels about them.

As for Yunyun...

'She might seem innocent in this situation but she needs to toughen up and not get pushed over like this. I'm in a bad mood right now since I haven't had my daily dose of milk and the negative buffs had started affecting my mind.' He was currently suffering from mental fatigue and was suppose to drink milk to clear all the negative buffs. But she ended up summoning him the moment he was drinking and his mood was currently bad and didn't care about hurting anyone's feelings at all.

"Now listen here B-" But as he was about to reprimand her, he suddenly saw her tearing up, crying as she felt disappointed in herself for causing trouble for others.

"I-i'm sorry for summoning you but I needed a friend. I-i didn't want to cause trouble for anyone so please forgive me..." Looking at her pitiful look, even Hiroki now feels bad as the pain in his head continues to linger but for a different reason.

"Ugh....Fine! A contract is a contract. A man needs to man up for something he did. Even if he was forcefully contracted by some divine being." Hiroki decided that to let go of his anger as there was nothing he could do now. Not only can he not go back to the Minecraft world for now, he felt a sense of kinship around Yunyun considering that she might be a loner like him.

He didn't know who the divine being that connected both of them but he might accept his situation right now considering that there was nothing he could do in this situation.
