She look down at her father and sister exchanging pleasantries with the Daniels after the dinner clenching her fist and greeting her teeth together, she stumped back into her room full of rage. Magaret, Magaret, Ma......

Get yourself something idiot, didn't I inform you to make sure my sister eat those cookies, she ask with furry in her eyes

Calm down Lizzy 

No mom don't ask me to calm down, she was not suppose to attend the dinner, do you know how shocked I am walking down the podium with her sitting there all graceful.

She turn back to Magaret who was now shaking, so tell me how come she showed up healthy enough for the dinner.

After I told Alice to serve her the cookies, I make sure of it myself that she eat them, she did ma'am.

Oh has she now suddenly develop an immunity against peanut is that what you are telling me.

Am sorry young madam, give me another chance I will make sure she eats more than enough

Hissing, second chance you say, it as if you want to be a maid here all your life, no problem my promise still stands if you could help me get rid of her, you will be relief of your work here and I will give you enough money to start and enjoy your life.

And why are you asking me the cookies, didn't you put it in the fridge so Alice will not be suspicious and serve them to her herself.

Aren't you the one who ask her to introduce her boyfriend, mother you could have just allow her to leave with her guest , all these wouldn't have happen, now I have lose my chance of marrying the Daniels son.

I taught she was hiding him and seeing the way he keeps bowing his head, I taught he's not good enough and besides if she's already in a relationship the Daniels will not want her for their son again, how am I to know that he's the first son of the Daniels.

Elizabeth are you sure your friend add peanut into those cookies, yes mother I bought the peanut for her myself and I saw her add them.

What could be wrong, mother I will go and find out myself, she said leaving the room for Mina's down the hall. Okay be careful while you are at it. You can leave until you are needed again and if you want to keep your life, you keep your mouth shut.

Putting on my night gown,  am so tired to take a bath, so I just  clean off the makeup. Thankfully the spots are completely gone now, thanks to the oils I bathed with. Am about to off the light and turn in for the night when I heard someone knock on the door.

I open the door to find Elizabeth, hi sis, Elizabeth come in. How are you sister 

Am fine, how are you too, you must be tired from the dinner 

Yes I am sister but I just said I should check up on you, and also thank you for making the dinner possible.

Oh Lizzy you don't need that, we are Sisters right and sisters help each other and besides I didn't do much, all I did was collect the flowers from the florist.

Alright sister, I see that you are about to sleep, I will leave so as not to disturb you

I shut the door , off the light and jump on the bed, I wanted to reflect on what happened at the dinner but am too tired to and tomorrow is a new week, I have a proposal to defend, I will think about it later, I said drifting to dream land.

Mother, yes Lizzy tell me, did you find out, her mother ask immediately she enter the room

She did enjoy my cookies with no single trace of  spot or rash on her body, mom she's perfectly fine.

Hmm I guess we have to find another way to handle this.

Yes mom the allergy stuff won't work on her I guess, we have to find another swift and right way to handle this.

How do we go about it, mother don't stress yourself I will take care of things trust me. I will be going to the office tomorrow at least to make my presence known and ofcause be on the look out for greedy people who can help me out in demoting her.
