Chapter One

I was clad in a black hoodie with the word 'Forever' imprinted on it. The word was in white. I sat by the side on my desk feeling an empty air touch my skin. My English textbook feel and when I was about picking it up, my eyes collided with that of a dark skinned boy.

"Hi," was my word.

"Hi," He responded.

I sighed, picking it up and began thinking. This was a new school, new people of different types, new everything. How possible was it for me to fit in?

The boring class was over and the noisy screeching of chairs, shoes and chatters began. A thin not-to-tall-boy stood up to meet his fellow guys. The school's uniform was a white shirt and dark pants—for the girls, shirt free skirt.

The boy I thought name was Mark had a cross earring dangling on his ear and sat with his front facing the back of the chair with sprawled legs.

"I think she's cute." He said, not failing to grant me a glance.

I tried to unnoticeably roll my eyes and let free my headphones from inside my school bag. My headphones were dull in blue colour.

Did I mention I loved the moon cause it has my favourite colour?
