Higher Pole

J started to stop the redhead at first but decided not to after realizing that he wasn't sure if his plan would work or not. What he was doing was a little crazy but at the same time J felt that since the other spinning pole wasn't moving that he may have an idea of the best way to go about passing this round.

Sure enough right as the wall made it through 3/4ths of the platform it completely stopped. It was good that it stopped at this moment because otherwise people such as the black-haired girl may have jumped off because she was already feeling a little nervous about whether J really had a plan or not.

The people that had already jumped to the other side of the wall glanced over in confusion seeing the wall stop but that was only for a moment before they began concentrating on the incoming pole. It was rotating at a pretty fast speed but not a speed high enough that everyone was concerned about what was going to happen.

Many at this point also wanted to go over to the wall J was currently sitting on since they thought it might be easier to get through the round by simply being above the pole but it was far too late and the pole had arrived at the beginning of the platform.

The pole was long enough to reach the wall they were sitting on which allowed J to see for the first time how the obstacles are able to faze through each other and it was truly a sight he will never forget.

As the pole began spinning onto the platform it eventually swung into the wall that J and the rest were sitting on but there was no impact or any sign of an impact as it went right through and continued on spinning. It was like the obstacles didn't even acknowledge each other's presence which was quite fascinating to J.

It was quickly shown to everyone around that J's idea was definitely the way to go since all of them had to continuously jump over and over again so they wouldn't end up being hit and shot off the edge of the platform. The way that the pole was spinning even took away the chance to be knocked into the wall and instead you were guaranteed to be thrown off the platform if hit.

The redhead continued to jump for a few spins and then slowly made his way back toward the wall with sweat already appearing on his face. The challenge of jumping over and over again was definitely not easy.

"Can you guys help me up?!" The redhead shouted as he got right beside the wall. He wanted to be sure that they would be there to support his jump just in case it wasn't high enough because if it wasn't high enough and they weren't there he would be going straight off the edge.

J wasted no time leaning over and holding his hand out toward the redhead, "Grab my hand!" He shouted. J had no problem with helping the redhead back up because he wasn't mad or angry that he jumped off in the first place.

He didn't know how J's mind worked and he was understandably nervous while sitting on an obstacle that previously went straight off the edge! Even those that trusted J the most so far almost got off.

The redhead didn't need to hear J say it twice as he jumped over the spinning obstacle once more before turning toward J jumping as far and as high as he could to try and reach the top of the wall.

Sadly his jump wasn't high enough to reach the top of the wall and he began his descent down as soon as his jump lost force or at least he would have if J wasn't there to immediately catch him and save him from his demise.

"I got you!" J said as he pulled the redhead up onto the wall.

When the redhead reached the top of the wall he hooked all his body parts to the top of it laying flat on top of the wall as he began breathing hard still scared from the near-death experience that almost happened. J glanced at him for a moment checking to make sure nothing was wrong with him and once he made sure that he was fine J turned back toward the groups of people who were still jumping over the pole over and over again.

The fatigue was slowly starting to set in for some people as they had been jumping over the pole for multiple minutes now. Some had even begun trying to make their way toward the wall so that they could relax and sit down like J and the rest were doing. The only issue was that the wall was on the complete other side of the platform from them so they had to constantly be jumping to avoid the pole but at the same time be looking to their front so they knew they were going in the right direction toward the wall.

As if things couldn't get any worse for those still jumping on the floor the other spinning pole began making its way forward at a fast pace threatening to take out anyone that came in its path. This pole normally wouldn't have been a big deal since it couldn't touch someone if they were standing on the main floor but the problem was that everyone was currently jumping upward as hard as they could over and over again raising their height level by a few feet.

When they went to this new height they were at the same height as the second spinning pole so their heads would be smacked shooting their bodies into the void and killing them on the spikes below. They all realized this and it caused mass panic among those that were still on the main level jumping.

"HURRY MOVE!" One man shouted as he jumped over the pole once more but couldn't continue since the person in front of him was in the way.
