Final Period

Izuku and the others currently sat in their class waiting to be dismissed. "So are you going to explain?" Asked Bakugo.

Izuku raised an eyebrow, "I already told you Kachan, I have no idea how I got powers. My best guess is it was because I got struck by lightning."

"Don't give me that! That's just insane, how can a lightning bolt give you powers?" Asked Bakugo now slightly more annoyed.

Izuku shrugged, "Don't know, look I don't know what else to tell you. I suddenly woke up with powers and that's that. But if you really want to know how, I'll tell you when we get home."

Bakugo was about to say something when the final bell rang. Izuku was packing his stuff when Aizawa walked into the room, "Midoriya, come with me. The principal wants to see you."

The class all turned to the boy, "Okay?" He then turned to Bakugo. "If you find Hatsume, tell her to go on ahead."

After grabbing his stuff Izuku followed Aizawa to the principal's office. Aizawa knocked and a small voice answered, "Come in."

Opening the door Izuku was ushered inside where he found a small bear/mouse looking animal sitting behind a desk and Recovery Girl standing beside said desk. "Please have a seat, would you like some tea?" Asked the mouse/bear.

Still a bit confused as to why he was brought here, Izuku shook his head, "No thanks, Principal…?"

"Nezu, call me Principal Nezu." Said Nezu with a smile.

"Right, principal Nezu, why exactly am I here? Did I do something wrong?" Asked Izuku.

Nezu shook his head, "No nothing like that. We just want to confirm something, so if you'd just answer our questions you will be on your way soon."

"Sure, I guess?" Said Izuku not knowing what was going on.

"Let's get started, your file says you are quirkless. But you've clearly displayed incredible speed, did you lie?" Asked Nezu.

"No sir, I didn't. As far as I'm concerned I'm still quirkless." Explained Izuku.

"Do you mind if you let Recovery Girl draw your blood to double check? It would only be a small prick of the finger." Explained Nezu.

"Okay…" presenting his hand Recovery Girl stabbed Izuku with a small needle just enough to draw a small amount of blood.

A few seconds had gone by and Recovery Girl looked at her tablet. "The boy is telling the truth, he has no quirk."

"I can back that up." Said Aizawa. "When I was testing the class I tried to stop his speed. But when I used my quirk it didn't do anything. So I thought about it and assumed one of two things. One, that his speed was somehow canceling out my quirk. Or two, that he had nothing to be erased, meaning no quirk."

Nezu nodded, "I see, but that still doesn't answer the question, just how are you able to move your body at such speeds?"

"No idea, about a year ago I was struck by lightning," said Izuku.

Aizawa raised an eyebrow, "Okay then care to explain why you found it necessary to use your power to do a hero's work and save people?"

Izuku knew this was going to happen, "That's a serious accusation, got any proof?"

"We know that whoever saved the girl had green lightning jumping off their body just like you displayed today." explained Aizawa. "Also that the person was moving at super speeds."

Izuku shrugged his shoulders, "That could be any hero, besides you never gave a description of this mystery person's face. So even if I said it was me there's no way you could prove it without seeing the person. And just like you just proved, I got no quirk so technically not illegal."

Aizawa didn't like Izuku's cocky attitude but he was right, "While that may be true, let this be a warning Midoriya, do not act on your own accord."

Izuku stood up and locked eyes with Aizawa, "That almost sounded like a threat Mr. Aizawa." The air surrounding the two was so thick that Nezu had a hard time breathing. It was only until Recovery Girl's cane came up and smacked Aizawa on the head that things calmed down. She tried to do the same with Izuku but he dodged causing her to miss.

"That's enough you two! This is no way to start a new semester." said Recovery Girl as she stomped her cane down.

Izuku turned to Nezu, "Can I go now?"

Nezu nodded, "You may."

Bowing slightly, Izuku walked towards the door, he stopped just as he was going to leave. "I hope we get along, Mr. Aizawa, let's make this year one that neither of us forget."

With that Izuku walked out and closed the door behind him, "He did it." said Aizawa.

"Yes, but we can't prove it. Besides, now that he's in UA there's no way he can do it again. I expect you to forget about this Aizawa, it was only one time." said Nezu.

Aizawa groaned, "Fine, but I'm keeping an eye on him. Something about him doesn't fit right with me."
