<p><em>A</em> <em>day before the wedding</em><br/> "Watch your step!"Heather grunted when someone accidentally spilled their coffee over her.<br/>She had had her eyes on her phone as she walked and had accidentally landed into someone's coffee, usually, she would have apologized and even bought him another but, she wasn't herself, especially not after she had read the message from her mom informing her that the wedding date had been moved from Sunday to Wednesday, which was the next day.<br/><br/>"Excuse you" the stranger said in a low husky voice frowning at Heather as he moved forward to block her path.<br/>She looked up in frustration from her phone,<br/><br/>"Shouldn't you atleast apologize?"he asked as he looked down at her.<br/><br/>"That's the least you can do"he added.<br/><br/> Heather frowned as she looked up at him, he had spilled his coffee on her dress too, and well, she was in a rush and hadn't found the need to wait in line for an apology from him.<br/><br/>"Sorry" she said then tried to move past him again when he blocked her path again.<br/>She looked curiously up at him as he looked at her, the frown on his face was now replaced by an indifferent one and his low husky voice came out clearer.<br/><br/>"I didn't catch that" he said.<br/>"I said I'm sorry, now if you'll excuse me" she said trying to walk past him when he blocked her path again.<br/>"What?"she asked angrily, unable to hold her frustration any more.<br/>"Apology not accepted, I need a new drink" the stranger said as his hand moved into his pocket.<br/>'Seriously?' Heather wondered as she looked at him, was he really doing this cliche move?<br/><br/>"I'm sorry but I really am not into you" she said trying her best to smile, she looked at her phone as another notification popped up, it was her mom, asking if she had time to go choose a wedding dress or she would let her mom do it herself.<br/><br/>"Neither am I" the stranger said as he took her phone away from her.<br/>"Hey!" She granted as she tried to grab it from him <br/>"you spilled my drink and I think it's only right if you either replace it or give me a sincere apology and since I'm not accepting your apology I would love for another drink" he explained, as he moved his hand far away from her reach.<br/><br/>"Fine, how much was your drink?" She asked as she took out her purse and checked through it, she took out a 100 dollar bill then slammed it against his chest.<br/><br/>"There, now can I have my phone back?" She asked.<br/><br/>"No, it's not enough"he said as he looked frowningly at her.<br/><br/>"What?" She asked and then checking into her purse pulled out two more hundred dollars bills them slammed them against the table.<br/><br/>" There, my phone now" she requested as she looked at him <br/><br/>He grunted and without reaching for the money that had fallen to the ground handed her phone over too her and took the two hundred dollars bills and placed them inside the tip jar.<br/><br/> "What took you so long?" Amber asked Heather as she walked towards her, <br/><br/>"Well, I had to go home and change" she said as she looked worriedly at her.<br/><br/>"You called to meet here, what's up?" She asked as she looked worriedly at her.<br/><br/>"The wedding is tomorrow " she said and Amber froze<br/><br/>"What?" She asked , as if not sure that she had heard right,<br/><br/>"It's tomorrow, mom wanted to pick a dress out for me, but I was thinking I would rather pick it out with my best friends if it's the only white dress I'll ever get to wear" she said as she looked at Amber whose eyes were now teary.<br/><br/>"Come here" Amber said as she spread her hands wide apart and Heather fell into her , embracing her in a hug.<br/><br/>"I'm so sorry that you have to go through with this" Amber said as she hugged Heather whose eyes were getting teary too.<br/><br/>"Tell you what?" She spoke again.<br/><br/>"We have to have a bachelorette party" she said, <br/><br/>"You can call that nice guy over , I mean it's not even a love marriage" Amber said , the last words more to herself because it was against her moral integrity, <br/><br/>"You two okay?" Fall asked as she walked up behind towards her two friends, and Heather turned her head to look at her.<br/><br/>"What's with the sorry looks?" She asked<br/><br/>"The wedding is tomorrow" Amber answered as they pulled apart.<br/><br/>"Wasn't it bound to happen, I heard Austin is back" she said and they looked at her with questioning looks on their faces.<br/><br/>"You didn't know?" She asked surprised before she filled them in on how Austin had been outside the country and was expected to be back on Saturday and that's why the wedding was put on Sunday but since he was back then they probably had to move the date before he went back.<br/> <em>At the mall,</em><br/> "That's the one" Amber and Fall both said at the same time when Heather walked out of the dressing room to show them her tenth dress.<br/><br/>"Isn't it alittle too exposing?" Heather asked as she looked at herself infront of the mirror, the white dress, was beautiful, but it had a very long slit, right from her cleverage to her knees, and it was an off shoulder too.<br/><br/>"Well, it's a good way to show your new husband what he's going up against" Fall said as she took a sip on her drink.<br/><br/>"What do you mean by that?" Heather asked.<br/><br/>"Austin's known for being a fuckboy, he doesn't settle for one woman, so I don't expect you to expect him to actually settle just because he's married" Fall explained.<br/><br/>"But with that dress, he'll have to think twice " Amber finished <br/><br/>"Mom's not gonna be happy about this " Heather said and her friends scoffed .<br/><br/>"Do you want her too?" Fall asked and Heather laughed <br/><br/>"Why would I?" She asked back.<br/><br/> <br/></p>
