CHAPTER 37: DEALING A GOOD SHOW

Feilan watched as Lushan stood up and he said "Feel free to head to bed"

Feilan nodded and stood up. She was kinda surprised this absurd man wasn't gonna try his luck but Feilan was grateful he wasn't cause she didn't think she'd manage to resist if this guy tried something.

Lushan walked back and sat down at the lounge again and started reading through his files.

"Good night" Feilan said after a moment of hesitation. Lushan gave a nod in response.

Feilan turned and went upstairs to the guest bedroom that Lushan had shown her earlier.

Feilan let herself fall on the bed and she relaxed. She picked up her phone and checked the latest news on Feilan Fashion.

[FEILAN FASHION IS A DISGRACE TO THE FASHION INDUSTRY]

Many loyal customers of Feilan Fashion are questioning whether Feilan Fashion has always been this cheap. They are all asking whether they plan on giving the customers an explanation.

"I always loved the products from Feilan Fashion...who would have thought that they sell counterfeits to their own customers"

"They better give an explanation or I'm boycotting everything from Feilan Fashion from now hence forth"

"Yeah me too..."

"Hey..did you guys hear that the CEO Shao Feilan was spotted heading into the exclusive VIP room of Feng International Restaurant...I wonder what she went to do there..."

"What else do you think...do you think she can solve this issue on her own....hmph...the industry is a dirty place....I don't think that Shao Feilan is any different"

"She probably already sold herself and that's why Feilan Fashion's stock prices have been restored all of a sudden"

"People are cheap..."

"I know.."

Feilan turned her phone off. These people's words meant nothing to her but she indeed had to solve the issue.

Feilan thought of the plan she had shared with Lushan and her eyes darkened.

'Don't blame me for being merciless Shao Linua cause tomorrow you're in for a good show' Feilan thought to herself and she sent a short message to Feilan Fashion's PR director.

"Help me organise for a live broadcast press conference with the press tomorrow.....we'll be dealing with Feilan Fashion's public image....

"Make sure all the renown news channels are there..."

Tomorrow Feilan Fashion's PR would be dealing a good show for the public.

–Jonan Gozan Platinum Residential Area–

A massive luxury villa sat at the foot of a small hill. It was definitely an eye catcher that showed the wealth of its owner.

"Good evening Mr Asahi....the Master awaits you in his library" the butler said respectfully.

Asahi gave a nod and entered the villa. He walked towards the library and knocked lightly on the door.

"Come in" a calm voice said.

Asahi walked into the library and closed the door. There in the library was Suzen Shei seated comfortably at the library lounge and beside him was none other than Shao Linua.

She was holding onto his arm very intimately.

Asahi bowed lightly "Mr Shei...Miss Shao" he greeted and straightened himself.

Suzen glanced at Shao Linua and calmly said "Head to my room...I'll meet you there" Shao Linua nodded obediently and she winked at Suzen seductively and whispered softly

"I'm waiting for you Master Shei...."

Linua stood up and left the library but she paused outside the door and didn't close it completely cause she wanted to hear what Suzen had to say.

After Linua left...Suzen frowned lightly and said coldly "Didn't I send you to bring Feilan here....where is she"

When Linua heard Feilan's name and the fact that Suzen had sent Asahi to bring her here....her heart clenched in anger and irritation.

"I went to pick her up but there was an advancement I didn't expect" Asahi said and he recounted everything that happened to Suzen.

Suzen frowned even more and his aura chilled "Didn't you warn that person whom they were messing with"

Asahi nodded and explained "I did but this person didn't seem to give a damn about who you were....the man even warned that you better watch your steps....it seems he has some kind of grudge with you"

Suzen's eyes sharpened...it had been a while since someone threatened him and didn't put into consideration his identity.

"And this man...was there for Shao Feilan" Suzen questioned and Asahi nodded nervously.

Suzen was quiet in deep thought and his mood was sour 'It seemed Shao Feilan was now running loose and thought she could disregard him as she pleased'

Linua who was outside didn't get alot of what was happening but it seemed Feilan had found herself a man and Suzen was pissed.

Linua was happy...Suzen would probably teach Feilan a hard lesson.

"Did you get this man's name or did you recognise him from any prominent families" Suzen asked but Asahi shook his head.

"I couldn't recognise him from anywhere"

Though Suzen was pissed off...he knew better than anyone that he couldn't act recklessly so he said "Tomorrow I'll go give Shao Feilan a personal visit...she has to give me an explanation

"I'll head to Feilan Fashion in the afternoon.....make sure my schedule is clear

"And gry to investigate on this mystery man"

Suzen said coldly and Asahi nodded.

When Linua heard this her heart became cold as ice 'No...she couldn't let Suzen go to Feilan Fashion....what if that slut Feilan seduced him and they got back together....no she had to stop him'

Linua panicked....she had already done alot to make Suzen hers...nothing was allowed to ruin it.

Suzen looked at Asahi with his cold blue eyes and asked "Have you kept my breakup with Shao Feilan a secret from that old man...I can't afford to have him throw his weight before me"

Suzen spoke about his grandfather like he was a pest that continuously bothered him.

He knew more than anyone else that his grandfather only approved of Shao Feilan to be his wife.

She was practically one of the reasons his grandfather made him acting chairman for the family business.

Suzen upto date didn't understand why his grandfather looked at Feilan so highly to the point he wanted him to marry her.

Feilan was of no significance the way he saw it. She was a runt the Shaos picked up from the streets and nothing more.

So why did his grandfather insist on him marrying her.

"Yes....I've kept everything under wraps so Elder Shei doesn't know about you breaking up with Feilan" Asahi said.

Suzen nodded.
