Chapter 3

We got to the survey corps base and it was really nice. He put me down and my back felt a little better but my head still hurt. Levi looked at me and said "stay out here I need to talk to commander Erwin." I just shook my head as he left me there outside of the building. It was out in the middle of no wear and it almost looked like a castle. There were also some horse stables and a garden. The wind started to get heavy against my face as it was almost 5:00 at night. I shivered a little and just stood there waiting. I think I can walk now but I am not sure. I tried to move my frail legs and my ankle buckled with the motion. I almost fell but I caught myself and a shock of pain went to my ankle. Damn it I said while keeping my ankle off the ground. Then Levi and a strange tall man with weird eyebrows and way too much gel in his hair came out. I chucked a little at his completion. As a small laugh came out I bit my tongue and Levi gave me a death glare. The man that I suspected was Erwin started talking. "Levi told me he found you in the woods and you want to be a scout right?" "Ya" I said while rubbing the back of my head "The training is long but you will get there. He said firmly my eyes just widened a little. "training" I said while tilting my head? "yes" Erwin said "2 years to be exact." My mind was racing how I got into this mess. "But Levi here told me something about you asking if he was with the military police" he questioned as he raised an eyebrow. I jumped a little when hearing the military and my hands shook a bit so I just hid behind my back. "I see" Erwin said while staring at me he should almost read me like a book and I felt exposed. Why can't I just hide myself. Levi looked at Erwin and said "I can have someone here train her" with a normal blank expression. "That can be an option Erwin said as he looked at me." My hands stopped shaking. I put them back at my side and I felt weak. Out of all my options being caught by the police was my least favorite. It would bring back the memories. Damn it said in my mind as my breath started to get faster. I can't think about the memories right now. I looked up at Erwin and strained my back and said "I would like to train here or I am leaving". Erwin just nodded his head and left. I let out a quick Sigh as he left. "What's your problem with the military police?" Levi said sternly. I knew I had to answer him as his gaze felt hot almost like fire. I trembled a little tacking a deep breath in and saying "they accused me of something I didn't do." That was all I could get out and he clicked his tongue turning the other way. "Can you walk now" "kinda" I replied as we walked inside and I was limping a bit. I felt pain but I ignored it. I knew walking would make my ankle worse but I didn't really care. He showed me to a room and I walked in. "You should take a shower there were clothes on the bed" he said as he shut the door. I sighed as I looked at the room. There was a small bed in the corner, a nightstand and window going across one wall and a closet and bathroom on the other wall. I walked to the bathroom. I completely skipped the Mirror I didn't want to look at myself. I knew my hair was a mess and my skin was almost transparent and my bones almost showing. I despised my Appearance and I knew it was worse than ever right now.
