Future comes to Past

(''head - "" out loud)

Wsk-

Flsssssk~

It was nighttime and nothing but the wind and the insects decided to sing during this hour. They made the atmosphere slightly more settling but the adventurers where sound asleep in the closest city while others had a odd feeling. while some sages and wizards looked up in the air and noticed the distorted mana flow within the air

The only thing within the world speaking was the breeze that passed between the trees and rolled over the grass. Deep within a forest, there was a pyramid that sat there completely covered and hidden in vegetation. A light blasted out from a small crack that hadn't been covered by vegetation.

Wisk~

Doom~

Loud screeching and pulsing noises could be heard from within the pyramid they all sounded mechanical in their own way. The noises from within along with the light shooting out from the holes lasted for a while before a loud thud was heard that shook some of the vegetation off the pyramid.

On the floor on the inside of the pyramid layer a body covered in a thick black cloak. After a few seconds of the body laying there a red light in the middle of its head towards where its eyes would be turned on before the being on the floor sat up slowly.

"Where exactly am I wasn't I just killed in battle? Why is it so dar-" Max lifted up one of his arms and slowly took it out from the clock that covered his body and stared at it. The light on his head acted as an eye and blinked before Max opened and closed his hand a few times.

'This is definitely my hand but. What the hell is going on this isn't my body. Is this like the shit that happens in those shows my little brother watches all the time? Some reason I'm not even surprised.' he slowly pulls himself up off the ground and his black cloak flutters again as he stands at his full height

"Hight is 6'3 huh. Wait how the hell do I know that.theres along happening right now I'm also able to see even tho it's dark still. First let's just find a light source to turn in and we can continue from there." he walked towards a wall and touched the wall there were symbols and markings across the wall. His vision distorted as it made a copy of the markings before breaking it up and making the information readable or giving a description of what was on the wall.

"Wow, all this is instructions that were written down." Max continued to read the words he could see before looking to his right and seeing three long skinny switches on the wall. Max's head bobbed in surprise as he looked back at the wall that then had the descriptions and translations pop back up in his vision.

'Your telling me this shit is right. What ever I am is a living cheat code for the starter game of reincarnation. There no language I can't read or write at this point if it works this well!' Max took small and steady steps towards the switches that where placed on the wall as he slowly but surely got there he stopped and flicked up the middle one.

ZROOOM~

A loud noise almost like a generator seemed to be heard within the halls ahead of him. He moved his hand slowly to the left and up and flicked it up, he was then showered in light that made him look up at the singular light that ran across the room from left to right. He noticed specks of dried up blood on the light,

"Weird can I scan that and get a little bit of information?" a red light scanned up and down on the blood on the light before the words (unclear past) popped up on his vision.

"Fair enough." his hand went down and moved to his right side before going back up and flicking a switch up. The last and final switch. The lights for the door on the other side of the room cut on before screeching open before the small frame over head turned green.

"Pardon my intrusion at the moment." Max decided to walk straight past the door into the long hall way he noticed the blood trail getting longer and a lot more noticeable from small droplets to bigger droplets to a skinny line leading to a room with a dented door that couldn't close all the way with sparks shooting out of the green overhead frame.

CLANG~

CLANG~

BANG-

It continued to smash itself against the wall, Max walked over to it and grabbed the edge of the door with one of his metal black hands. The door started to scream as sparks shot out of the opening it continued to slide in and out from. Max used his other hand to shield himself from the sparks even tho they didn't really hurt it messed with his vision a lot.

"This life is already pissing me off!"

BLAM!

He slammed the door back into the opening it came from before jamming a metal rod into one of the gears in the floor without looking. He looked down at the floor and looked at his hand.

'I didn't do that-'

[accuracy level up

"Is this some sort of video game?" he stood there before the panel closed itself and he was staring into the room that was covered in blood that was splattered over the walls and ground.

Max moved towards a coat on the ground and picked it up. It was clear that it used to be a white coat but now was completely crimson red and soaked in old crusty blood. He reached into the pockets of the doctor and found keys and a ID along with a scalpel.

"The keys and ID will be useful but I don't know about the scalpel. I'll hang onto it for now." the scalpel and keys started to get pulled towards his wrist before it was completely pulled out of his hand and stuck to his wrist before his forearm opened up and small black wires with claws on them grabbed the keys and scalpel and dragged it inside of him.

[analizing done]

Two of his fingertips opened up and started to shapeshift. On one finger was a scalpel not the original but an exact replica that was his finger. And the other finger was a key.

"To avoid all these surprises can't I just know what I can do so I can better use it!" he turned his head back down to the ID he scanned the ID before gasping slightly.
