A Slap

The figure kept coming forward, her boots carefully ticking on the concrete floor.

Not until Cami's nose moved.

That unforgettable scent!.

She immediately got up on her feet, startling Jordan as well who also got up on his feet as he turned to the figure.

" Mom!" She panicked, her heart racing madly.

Lexi was still on her all-dark outfit, making her presence a little bit tense.

" What are you doing up this late on the rooftop?" Lexi asked, putting on a frank expression.

" I..I..came to read my books" She quickly said, gesturing at the books on the floor.

Lexi crossed her arm on her chest as a smirk followed on her chin.

" You came to read or you came to find solace on a Man's shoulder, huh?" She spat, looking at her irritatingly.

Cami lowered her gaze slowly and her mom got furious by her silence.

She raised her hand.

" Answer me!" She exclaimed, lashing out her palm on her face and Cami saw stars for a second.

" I'm so sorry!" She cried, palming her already swollen cheeks.

" Is this how I trained you?. What are you becoming?. A slut?!." She spat, coming forward.

Cami kept sobbing silently. Jordan tightened his fist, trying as much as possible not to interfere but he knew he'd burst soon.

Lexi grinned her teeth hardly as Cami refused to give an answer once again.

" Am I talking to a deaf?" She asked and Cami shaked her heads in denial, still covering her red cheeks.

She raised her hand again to hit her and Jordan held her wrist instantly, stopping her action.

" She didn't do anything wrong. You can't continue to hit her that way like you lost your mind!" He gritted, sinking

his eyes into her soul.

Lexi's pupil dilated in shock but she immediately became calm.

She snatched her hand off his grip and turned to look at Cami for a while before she flaunted around, walking away quickly.

Cami cries got louder as she threw fist at Jordan's chest.

" What did you do!. I didn't ask you to stop her!. You could've just let her hit me instead!" She cried bitterly.

" Cami. I was..."

" I'm completely fried, Jordan. I'm in so much trouble now all cos of you!. She's gonna worsen my punishment" She sniffed hardly, causing her entire face to go red.

Jordan could see the pain in her voice and that crushed him to pieces.

" I'll...I'll go talk to her" He stuttered.

" You can't solve anything at this rate. It's all over" She spat and gathered her books from the floor before raising herself to look at him.

" Thanks a lot for protecting me. I really appreciate!. Don't come after me!" She scoffed and began to walk away in tears.

Jordan tucked his hand in one of his pocket as his other hand ruffled his front hair.

He didn't know what to do next and he was scared that her mom might actually hurt her.

His eyes glanced at the floor and he saw that she had forgotten her notebook.

He picked it up.

" Damn. She forgot her homework" He thought and picked a pen from his pocket, settling back on the block.

<CAMI'S APARTMENT >

Cami slowly got into her apartment but the light were turned off except for the one in the kitchen.

She dropped her books on the table with utmost gentleness and carefully walked to the kitchen.

Her mom was on the dinning, picking on her food gently.

" Mom?" She called, as her body sank in fear.

" Have you taken dinner?" She asked without turning to face her.

" No I'm fine. Not hungry" She said whilst swallowing deeply.

Lexi pushed her plate aside.

" Eat something" She told her.

Cami gulped in hardly again as she walked forward. She dared not refuse her order else her punishment would double.

She fearfully pulled the plate closer to herself and sat farther away from her.

" Did your dad ever return home?"

" I haven't seen him since two days now" Cami said and picked her spoon to start eating.

Lexi slowly watched her but her eyes was mostly roaming around her red, swollen cheeks.

Cami looked up and caught her mom staring at her. Lexi quickly looked away, as if regretting her action.

Her breath got harsh and Cami could definitely hear her struggle within herself.

She left her seat abruptly, causing the chair to fall before walking out of the kitchen.

" Mom?" She called, poking her eyes cutely as she watched her leave out the door.

" Eat and go to bed before Nine." Lexi said aloud as she rushed up the stairs.

Cami sat back down and she felt perplexed than any other day. She looked at her meal and resumed eating quickly.

☆~AT GENESIS ~☆

Genesis picked up her face wipe as she rubbed the her make up off her face quickly.

Maggie quickly opened up the bin and she threw the wipe inside.

" Now, Maggie and cat. You both have to be careful as ever or the mama bear will wake up" She told them.

" We will!" They shook their heads in response.

She took off her heels and jumped into the house and the other two followed her in frantically.

The light was off but their glittering dress could literally pave way for them.

Genesis was about to climb the stairs when the light was suddenly turned on, surprising the trio.

Her grandma was holding a whip in her hand as she leaned away from the wall.

" Where are you trio coming from?" She asked.

" We went for a night class and we were all reading for an exam" Genesis quickly said with an innocent expression.

" Deceive me no more!" She spat and whip genesis on her back.

" Ahhhhh, Daddy!!" She screamed, itching her back dearly.

" And You two. Bad influencers to my child" She said and gave one whip at Maggie's back and it affected Cat's head.

" Arrg!!. Mommy!" She screamed, leaping on one feet.

Cat was looking for ways to escape but even the grandma's presence was confusing her the more.

" There's no escape for you. Receive your Cure!" She scoffed and whipped cat on her foot.

" Ahhhhhhh, Holy shit!!" She screamed, dangling on her balance.

" Out, Out of here!!" She screamed and the two, as fast as they could, scrambled out through the window from where they came in from.

When they were gone, Grandma picked her olive oil and turned to genesis.

" Repeat after me, I'll repent in Jesus name" She spat.

" Grandma please" She cried and a whip slashed her arm and her senses got replaced instantly.

" Grand_mom_dad!!!" She screamed all at once.

" Repeat after me...I'll repent in Jesus name!"

" I'll repent in Jesus name!" She cried and grandma poured some oil over her head before slashing her back, harder than before.

" Continue to repeat!"

" I'll repent!!!!!" She screamed and ran up the stairs, slamming her door quickly.

<7AM>

Cami held the strap of her bag as she walked out of the house quickly.

She met jordan with his helmet, leaning on his bike and she quickly walked up to him.

" Good morning" She bowed with a sweet smile curved on her pretty face. Luckily, her swollen cheeks had gone over the night.

" Good morning Cami. You forgot your book yesterday" He said.

" Ooh" She hit her forehead. " I forgot to do my assignment now" She grumbled.

" Well, Maybe you should open it up first" He said and she looked at him suspiciously and he pinched his eyes chuckling.

She opened it up and saw he had finished up every scratch and nooks of the project for her, he even forged her handwriting.

" You wrote this?" She asked.

" Yea, It's nothing." He shrugged.

" Oh my, Thank you!" She hugged him tightly before letting go of him.

" It looks so surreal. I mean...my teacher would never guess it wasn't me who wrote it. How did you do it?"

" It's one of the things I can do with my eyes closed. I do forge writings up. It's like__a talent" He said.

She smiled and hugged him again.

" Are you resuming school today?" She asked, leaning away.

" I don't want to guess yet. Do you need a ride to school?"

" On a bike?" She asked as her heart raced for no reason.

Without giving a response, He picked up his other helmet and fixed it on her small head before wearing the bigger one on his head.

" Hop on" He told her.

" The helmet has more weight than me" She chuckled as she climbed up the bike.

" Hug me or you might get lost in the wind" He said.

" Nah, I'm fine" She replied and he pressed the pedal.

The sound of the engine alone made her grab his shirt like a patient in coma depending on to his dear life.

He grinned and sped off quickly and Cami started screaming off her lungs all through the ride.

<MEL'S TASTY>

Momo sat on her desk as she glanced through Jordan picture with a large smile on her face.

She had sneaked and took a pic of him in his previous time when he was cooking with the chefs.

" I can't see him again until 5pm. So sad. It's going to be a long day without him" She grumbled and kissed his picture.

" How can a guy looks be this unreal?. I wonder if his mom or sis also crush on him, cos...." She smiled dreamily.

" He's so drop dead gorgeous. I could sit here and stare at his pic all day and never get tired" She chuckled.

Melody walked through the door and she immediately hid her phone.

" Good morning boss" She greeted with a bow but melody kept walking away until she went through the door of her office.

She slammed the door hardly and Momo jerked frighteningly.

She slowly left her seat and walked towards the door, leaning and peeping through the lock hole.

" I said I want him at all cost!" She screamed in the phone.

She threw her phone to the wall and it crashed but she didn't mind.

She rushed towards her laptop and began to type on it quickly, boiling up red with so much anger.

Momo quickly looked away from the hole and held her waist.

" I've worked with her for three years and I still don't understand her plight" She sighed before walking away.

Clover was busy with his phone as kai rode the car towards the school.

" Watching porn again?" Kai asked with a smirk.

" Stop butting into my private life and speed up, we're late!" He scoffed and Kai increased the speed to it's limits.

Clover eyes widened in shock as his voice failed him, not until he carefully rode into the school compound.

" Here" Kai threw the car keys at him and stepped out of the car quickly.

He blinked twice before reviving from the shock. He picked up the key before getting out of the car.

A bike rode past him and it splashed dirt on his white sneakers.

" Who's that fool?" He thought as he looked up only to find Cami getting down from the bike.

Jordan took off his helmet and it dawned on him who she was moving with now. He got extremely furious.

" Cami?" He called as he walked forward towards them.

He pulled off the helmet from her head and threw it into the nearest trash.

" What are you doing with him!" He shouted at her and Cami feet got weak.

Jordan picked the cross bag from his hand and trashed it in the mud, picking up his stuff from the bin.

" Warning. You can have her, but Don't try hurt her" He told clover before walking away from them.

Clover eyes pierced at his back and nothing else filled him up than to take an hot revenge.

He hated the fact that he was now in this school and he'd have to compete with him.

He faced cami.

" You want everyone to know the truth, right?. They'll know now" He said and began to walk away quickly.

" Wait!" She chased him before standing in front of him.

" I'm sorry. Please I'm sorry" She hugged him. " I'm ready for the kiss now, I'll do anything. Please don't tell anyone yet" She said, crying painfully.

He looked at her and realised he could only pay his revenge to Jordan through her.

He sighed softly.

" Fine. Meet me at the cafeteria at lunchtime. Got it?" He asked and she shaked her heads quickly.

" One more thing, Avoid him" He scoffed before walking away smoothly.

Cami breathed out hardly before breaking down into more tears as she walked into the school.

**HALL WAY**

Jordan was led by a teacher into the school and every gender was in the hallway just to see him.

👥 He's not smiling, yet I'm charmed!

Jordan tried as much as possible to keep a straight face as he heard this chant from the students.

Genesis was coming with her friends.

" I'm really sorry about last night" She kept apologising.

" It's fine. As far as you got more scars than us. We're totally fine" Maggie shrugged.

" We should probably sneak into your home next time and not mine" Genesis pouted sadly.

" Look...Look!" Cat pointed and the other two wheels raised their chin.

They all looked stunned and they didn't talk for a few minutes until he had walked past them.

" New boy?" Maggie asked in excitement.

" He probably looks like one and he's so handsome!" Cat giggled as she gushed.

Genesis brought out a pic from her bag. It was clover's.

" Rest for now" She hissed and tore the pic in half before bringing out her pen.

" What are you writing?" Cat asked.

" Shh" She smiled and folded up the paper, throwing it at him.

Jordan didn't flinch even tho he noticed the paper fall beside him.

" Did he just ignore it!" She spat furiously before walking up to him.

" Hey, Butt cheek. Do you know the girl behind the letter. It's me. Yea, You just missed a luck. No longer interested anyways" She hissed, rolling her eyes.

" Sorry, I don't do people who look Like a failed lab experiment" He scoffed and closed his locker, walking away quickly.

" My poor heart!" She gasped. She looked around and everyone broke into a quick loud laughter.

2PM≈CAFETERIA≈

Cami slowly walked into the cafeteria and she found clover walking out already. Leigh quickly excused them.

" You came late" He said, pocketing his hands.

" I was busy with class practicals" She quickly replied.

He cupped her cheeks.

" It's fine babe. Good thing you're here, time to make some goat jealous" He whispered and her heart lost control at that slightest touch.

" W..what are you doing?. Students are everywhere" She breathed.

" The kiss I promised you. Forgot?. Do'in it in public today." He said and her eyes roamed around until she met jordan in the hall too.

Unluckily, he was watching them from his lunch table and that made her breath seize.

Her leg began to itch and before she knew, she pushed Clover and he slumped into students table, throwing their foods away.

She picked their plate and smashed the food into his face and everyone began laughing.

Jordan immediately got up on his feet noticing she was out of control again and he drew her away from the crowd.

He held her in place with her back against the wall, hugging her really tight to himself.

" Stay calm little flower. You're with me, you'll be fine" He slowly whispered and his shirt got soaked with tears.

All eyes silently on them.
