Chapter Six

"Al, wake up. We have to go back to our hotel suit first before sleeping." Liel advised and shook her shoulder but she didn't bulge a bit.

"I'll carry her." Andrew sighed making Liel looked at him.

"What?"

"You and your ways."

"Huh?"

"Nothing."

"Alphyne Bonifacio, wake up!" Liel said. He doesn't want Andrew to carry her. After all he was still recovering from his fever earlier and he may or may not do something the Alphyne may get angry about and she is a girl and he totally respect girls.

"Okay fine. I'm awake. Geez, you don't have to shout in the middle of the night." Alphyne muttered with a yawn. She is just too tired to function but she has to wake up before Leil let Andrew carry her, yes she heard them and she doesn't want that at all.

They left the pavement and went back to hotel suit that B.K.I. (Bathala Katipunan Institute) also manage and own to help demigods like them who are in mission. Mostly their missions are either in the woods or in the city that is why every city surrounding the Katagalogan has hotel suits for Demi-gods like them.

"Finally, I can sleep peacefully!" Alphyne muttered as she slumped down the bed as soon as she entered her room in the hotel. The rooms for Girls and Boys are separated that's why she will have the room for herself while Liel and Andrew are at the other room.

"I have to take a bath first before going to bed. I'm smelly from the fight earlier." She sighed and went to the bathroom inside the room she was staying. She took a bath and dried her long hair after. She looked outside the window and saw the first quarter moon. She just stared at it without anything in mind at all. After that, a breeze hugged her making Alphyne feel at ease and sleepiness engulfs her.

Alphyne woke up from the banging and calling of her name so early in the morning. She sat up from the bed and stretched her arms before standing up to face whose the freak was waking her up. She swung the door open and saw Liel who gave her a smile.

"Good morning. Get dress up, the breakfast is ready." After that she closed the door on his face and went to the bathroom to wash up and get dressed. She also heard Andrew's voice telling Liel that Alphyne tend to slam the door on someone else's face.

"You are the only one I want to do that for 'cause I don't want to see your face so early in the morning." Alphyne said as she opened the door of her room.

"Did you hear the Liel, Alphyne wants to do that to me and see my face every day." Andrew dramatically gasped at her comment making Alphyne rolled her eyes and Liel only shook his head.

"I don't want to deal with you this early morning." Liel muttered. Andrew chuckled at his comment. Alphyne just kept silent because she wants to eat already. Finally, they had arrived at the restaurant on the first floor with a huge TV screen to entertain the other hotel occupants but something caught their attention. It was the Sogo Hotel in Malate that was on the news. The reporter said that the demolition of the Sogo Hotel had an accident where in there are two workers that have been caught up and buried alive. The three looked at each other but didn't speak at all. They don't know what happened after they left last night. The only thing that they know is that the Hotel had been very vulnerable after their fight against Tiktiks and was supposed to be collapsing sooner or later and then this incident occurred. Andrew looked at the time from the digital wall clock above the huge TV screen. It is almost nine in the morning. They decided to shrug it off and ordered their breakfast meal. Liel ordered three sets of Fried rice with meat, two cups of hot chocolate and a cup of coffee for Alphyne.

"Hey, I've been meaning to ask you. Why do you love drinking coffee in the morning?" They never know why Alphyne loves to drink coffee. For the last month that they had been together at the Institute, they never got a chance to ask her why she loves drinking coffee.

"I don't know. Do you really need a reason why you love something?" Alphyne retorted after she sipped her coffee.

"Make sense." Andrew replied as he looked at Liel who was just staring at Alphyne. After that, they just ate their breakfast. The three decided to get going to their next station in finding Katolanon. They went back to their rooms to pick up their things and bid goodbye to the manager.

"Understood, I'll report this to Sir Louis later. For now, I wish you good luck." Rebecca Gonzales, a retired pillar of B.K.I. She is a daughter of Hanan. When she turned thirty, she decided to go outside the institute to help other Demis like them and guide them to Bathala Katipunan Institute to learn how to survive in this kind of world where everything is harmful, whether it's normal human being or supernatural creatures.
