Krish's concern

"Chang Xin." His voice barely reached Chang Xin. Somehow, she turned her miserable face to him as he came towards her.

"Are you too here to mock me?" Asked Chang Xin.

"N-"

Chang Xin stood up and, facing him straight, proclaimed, "I'm sorry. I love you, but not for your money. Sorry, I won't chase after you anymore." and left him speechless.

"Chang Xin," he called her again. Despite hearing it, her feet didn't respond to him.

"What's wrong with this earth people?' Krish muttered with irritation, looking at the rooftop door.

In the classroom,

"What's wrong with Chang Xin? She has been quiet since morning," Suilin dictated to Geng Xi.

"I don't know either."

Geng Xi said, gazing at her fixedly as Krish glimpsed Chang Xin once before continuing teaching. Liu Yifei was about to cross the classroom. Once she spotted Krish's unfamiliar, stressed-looking face towards Chang Xi, a shade of envy stopped her from crossing the classroom.

At lunch hour, Chang Xin's friend witnessed her stirring the plate instead of having lunch.

Suilin asked mutedly, "What's wrong?"

Fanqia shrugged. Geng Xi locked Chang Xin's chopstick, earning her a blank look.

"What's wrong?" with a baffled look, Geng Xi asked.

As both gazed at each other, Chang Xin couldn't help but sigh helplessly. "Rich people are so mean," she tugged up the chopsticks and left the table, leaving them blinking in extreme conflict.

At night, Krish was coming downstairs as Liu Yifei was cooking in the kitchen.

"Why don't I see any activity of demons among students?" Krish threw those students' lists on the table and stopped her cooking.

"How can I answer this? Maybe they were aware of your presence," she replied carefreely.

Krish could whirl out exasperation only before dropping his butt on the dining chair.

Giving a suspicious stare, Liu Yifei asked, "You seem disturbed by today's incident."

"Do I?" he asked back.

She nodded and came to him as he leaned against the chair. "Is it because of Chang Xin? Or people's attitude?" she asked, approaching him from behind.

Giving some thought and staring at the random spot, Krish responded, "I'm not sure."

Liu Yifei's eyes glimpsed his chest's fair skin, which had been peeking out because the first two buttons were unbuttoned. Her inaudible, extensive breath enunciated her desire for him, despite her hands being calmly settled on his shoulder.

"Chang Xin,"

Krish's sudden declaration shuddered her peers.

"I should make it clear that not everyone is identical," Krish said himself, standing up to leave the table.

"What about dinner?" She asked.

"I'm not in a mood," he said briefly, heading upstairs.

The next day, Krish tried to block Chang Xin's path. Chang Xin's foot stopped in front of him, and she looked up at his amenable eyes, which she had never witnessed these two days.

Despite that, she lowered her head and struck her feet aside before passing him without words.

The next day,

While passing the test paper, Krish handed her a piece of folded paper. Among all the students, Suillin was the only one who spotted them. He was choked to death, not knowing whether to say it to his brother or keep his mouth sealed.

Chang Xin unfolded it, and her eyes read, "Meet me after the class."

Krish peeked back at her throwing paper outside the window with a pale look, which exhausted him a little. Nonetheless, he waited for her after the class finished. She didn't show up as he expected. So he left the school with disappointment.

"Tomorrow is the last day of the week. If I missed that too, she would be lost in her thoughts without anyone's help on holiday too." Krish conjured up himself late at night, giving up on his sleep.

Friday, the last working day of the week, dawns. Gathering good luck, Krish stepped inside the classroom and glimpsed Chang Xin's seat, only to find Chang Xin wasn't in her seat.

"Where is Chang Xin?" He asked immediately, fluttering even before scanning the whole classroom.

Everyone was like, "Huh?" and the class monitor, Li Gi, pointing out the blackboard, she informed, "Today was Chang Xin's turn to clean the board, sir. She is right there."

Krish Irish was dragged to the blackboard at light speed. Only after seeing her standing near the board, who was looking at him, did his throbbing heart feel at ease.

For all of the students' evidence, a slightly relaxed sigh escaped his lips. That disappointed Geng Xi in some way, but he was not sure about those feelings and took bitterness without his knowledge.

"Continue," he said, approaching the table as the other students greeted him politely.

After erasing the blackboard, she put a duster next to his hand and headed to her seat without even looking at him. That conflicted Fanqia, Suilin, and Geng Xi because they acknowledged how naughty Chang Xin was.

Her muted personality bothered them. However, they were afraid to talk about her mood because they knew her stubbornness, which wouldn't leave until she made the decision.

Fanqia pasted sticky notes saying, "Who made you like this?"

Chang Xin saw it pass that note, adding the word "nothing."

Suilin wrote, 'I'm sure of it. It must be Mr. Krish. I saw him giving her a message yesterday.' and he passed it to Fanqia and whispered to Geng Xi.

"Are you sure?" Fanqia asked with a hoarse voice.

"Fanqia!" Krish warned her. She turned back to the class.

After lunch hour, Krish came upstairs and saw Chang Xin punching hard at the bench as if she didn't care about the wound or pain.

He rushed to her and clenched her wrist before it encountered another punch. "Show your anger at me," he proclaimed, looking into her watery eyes. She could feel his flustering heart through his touch.

She tried to pull her hand away from him. He tightened it further and hugged her instantly. As her face bumped into his chest, he embraced her head before she laid back and shoved her hip onto his body.

She became stone according to her body movement, but her grapes eyes were stunned, as if she couldn't believe Krish's sudden approach.

As a drop of blood began to peek out from her fist wound, he patted her head and gently spoke out, "Hit me if you want. In that way, your hands won't be wounded.”
