CHAPTER 89 I Always Believe in You

  Aurora's POV

The scene was utter chaos. People were sprawled on the ground, howling in agony, and only a handful of the stronger Alphas managed to remain standing.

After hearing what the Alpha said, Edsel propped Julian up with one hand and took a small sip from the wine glass I'd left on the table.

"Damn, this wine has Wolfsbane in it."

  "What?!"

I gasped at Edsel's words. Everyone knew that Wolfsbane was the band of werewolves, and though it had become rare on the continent over time, it could still cause pain, even if it wasn't as lethal as it used to be many years ago.

I pinched my thigh hard. The more chaotic it got, the more I needed to keep a cool head. Edward hurried to my side and grabbed my hand, "Are you okay my love?"

I shook my head, "Doesn't seem to affect me much. You?"

"I feel a bit off, but it's nothing serious."
