Oh gosh, what did she just do?

Eliana had no idea why she said that. Why did she give Leo full-on permission to kiss her whenever he wanted? She felt so stupid now, but at the time, the words poured out of her before she could stop them.

So now, Leo was looking at her, grinning ear to ear as if he had just won the lottery. Did kissing her make him happy this much?

"Ahem…Leo?" she hesitated before speaking again. He wasn't saying anything and it was making her nervous.

"What is it, Eliana?" he asked in a low and husky voice.

She sank her teeth into her bottom lip. He was sitting so close to her that she could feel his body heat radiating off him. It was making her heart race, and she did not like it. "You can go back to your room now," she said reluctantly.

His face fell. "Go back to my room?" he repeated.

"Yes. It is quite late, so why don't you go back to sleep?" Eliana said.
