[Date:1/Nov/2017, Location Echoplex La, 8:30 PM]

"Brick mile, knock your bitch down, Pick her up, knock her back down, pull her tracks out, Yes, I slap girl, yes I slap dog, yes I slap loud, Yes, I'll slap a pussy nigga if he act outYes, I caught cases on the road with them killers, Bro, kill me if I snitch, cause if you snitch I'm gon' kill you"

Drako Rapped on stage jumping up and down along with the crowd who were now hyped. Drinks of bear, water and other kinds of liquids were thrown into the air as the crowd rapped along with him. The whole building was practically shaking from the tsunami of voices.

With the popularity, the song has gained over the past month there wasn't anyone especially in LA who hadn't heard about it. Well, at least those interested in hip-hop and not living under a rock. With both Youtubers and random folks talking about it all over social the hype continues to build. Some rappers have even started releasing freestyles of the song.

"Spent a lot of time on that yard with them gorillasStood tall, did I let niggas hoe me? Quit being sillyI know for a fact your bitch pussy get wet for a nigga'Cause I do it better, plus I'm doing better than niggasI'm at home when I'm down there in Lexington nigga'Bout the king, they gone drop you and who next to you nigga"

He rapped the next lyrics with the same amount of energy not even minding the fact the DJ would cut off the song at some parts. The surprising fact was that he jumped off the stage landing on the area between the metal barrier and the stage. The crowd immediately got closer to the barrier now that he was close enough that they could almost touch him.

Now right in front of the crowd, he continued to Rap his song whilst sometimes holding up his mic for some of the people in the crowd. He walked along the front of the crowd daping up some of the people who matched his vibe. A subtle aura emanated from his body making his actions more impactful to the crowd.

[Rakim's Pov]

'Yo Rex are you seeing this,' I inwardly asked him as I continued to rap the lyrics off with no flaws. Ever since I stepped on stage I've been feeling alive more than anything I've felt in a while.

It's like all of my senses were suddenly heightened to a new degree especially whenever I speak into the mic. I can see purple music notes whenever I rap a lyric and the crazy thing is the reaction I get from the crowd. Almost like a chemical reaction, my words seemed to resonate on another level with the crowd.

The more into the song the crowd get the more vibrant the colours in my vision. Something about this feeling is addicting, interacting with the crowd, and seeing their genuine reaction to seeing me Rap is even better than I had imagined. This is better than the high I felt whenever we hit a lick or had to fight someone off if they happened to be home.

[I see it, maybe there was something fishy with the food that girl Zoe cooked for you,] Rex responded not sounding at all serious seemingly not caring about this peculiar situation. If he was being honest he would have told him about seeing these weird notes when Rakim was recording.

The only reason the latter hadn't noticed this was due to his habit of closing his eyes whenever he got caught up in a song. It works well for him as he manages to bring his recording to a whole new level as he seemingly enters a zone. 'Maybe you right, I don't know what I was thinking eating chicken made by white people,' I thought to myself before Rapping the next lines

"I'm on parole in two states, I can't move wrong, The feds trying to build a case, I can't move wrong" I rapped before holding up the mic for the crowd to sing the next line.

"I went to trial back to back, bitch I'm two and oh" Instead of singing these folks shouted the lines with so much conviction as if they had actually been through these things. At this point in the show, I was sure that my performance was golden. Everyone I laid my eyes on had a happy expression as they enjoyed the moment.

"The state of Kentucky banned me from every jewellery store, Say I can't even be in public with my hoodie on, Michigan State don't want him here, they don't know what he on" I finished off the bar with a bright smile on my face as I pulled my self back on stage sitting at the edge.

Looking at the crowd who had mesmerised expressions on their face a bright smile crept its way on my face. I know for sure that I've managed to make a lot of the cats here fans after that performance. Adjusting the white cat mask at the side of my head slightly I sang the final verse of my song.

"I know they prayed on my downfall, I know they prayed on my downfall, On all ten, bitch, I stood tall, Show these disloyal niggas how to ball" I finished the song letting my voice trail off to words the end. Breathing in the moment I was showered by loud cheers that weren't meant for an undercard like.

If I was a regular rapper trying to make it after years of average songs receiving a quarter of this applause would be great. However, thanks to all the hype of my first song and Chloes behind the scenes work to keep the momentum going I get to experience this.

'I'm glad I listened to you in that cell, this makes me feel alive,' I told Rex remembering how when we first met I wasn't on the fringe of becoming a rapper. Being a criminal is all I've known so I planned to make use of my skills and become a career criminal. Although I never wanted to enter the drug game again hitting a few licks or setting up a couple of scams would have been my go-to.

[Trust me this is nothing, once you reach that stage you will be in an entirely new world,] He answered me in a reminiscent tone assuming I knew what he meant by that stage. For the record, I did not but I didn't dwell on the topic and focused on the crowd in front of me.

"Thank you, Echoplex, that was wild for my first show, a big thank you to X for having me and all of you have been great, much love," I told the crowd after a minute of them just cheering loudly after my performance ended. They seemed to like it genuinely and let me know by not letting me get a word in.

It took me a while to gather my thoughts from the high I was feeling, tasting this sense of euphoria has me yearning for more. Throughout the performance, I acted on instinct but somehow it made it better. Interacting with the crowd and letting them be part of the performance was fun.

Hearing them Rap words I brought to life on a track makes everything I've been trying to do real. It's like gaining recognition after beating a mini-boss that was blocking your path ahead. This makes me want to continue to make songs that will stick in people's minds.

"Dang you people are loud, let a man speak please," I said into the mic after almost going deaf from their cheers after my last sentence. My words seemed to work calming them down slightly with only those on drugs not being able to hold their mouth. However now that they were mostly silent I completely forgot what I wanted to do.
