Loki went alone to Jotunheim to discuss with Laufey the method of killing Odin. He returned to the Rainbow Bridge and looked at Heimdall, the guardian stationed there, and said in a low voice, "Will you be as loyal to me as you were to Odin?"
Heimdall stared fixedly at the Eternal Spear in Loki's hand and after a moment of silence, he said in a deep voice, "Of course, Your Majesty!"
"From now on, no one is allowed to use the Rainbow Bridge! Not until I clean up the mess left by Thor!"
Loki shook his cape and walked briskly towards Asgard, while in their room, Sif and the Warriors Three were discussing how to bring Thor back. Suddenly, they received orders from a soldier to meet with Heimdall.
"How dare you defy the orders of King Loki! Violating every oath you took as warriors! Are you willing to commit treason to bring back Thor?" Heimdall shouted defiantly.
Heimdall lowered his head and whispered softly, "I must be loyal to the King, so I cannot open the bridge!"
"What an unpredictable guy!" Volstagg said somewhat speechlessly, looking at his companions. Sif looked at the sword inserted in the control room and had a pensive expression on her face.
Loki, standing on the balcony of the palace, watched as the Rainbow Bridge was activated, his face showing an angry expression. He quickly walked to Odin's vault, tapped the ground lightly with the Eternal Spear, and the Destroyer emerged from a wall.
Loki's magical power flowed into the Destroyer through the Eternal Spear, and in a cold tone, he said, "Destroy them all!"
After finishing, he put away the Casket of Ancient Winters and walked slowly towards the Rainbow Bridge. Sif and the Warriors Three, who had landed on Earth, walked quickly towards a nearby town, preparing to inquire about Thor's whereabouts.
After some searching, they arrived at Jane Foster's lab. They lightly knocked on the glass door and greeted Thor inside. Seeing the familiar face, Thor was in a good mood. He turned around and introduced Sif and the Warriors Three to Jane Foster and her companions.
Seeing the bright silver armor on the four of them, Darcy and Dr. Erik Selvig looked slightly shocked. Upon receiving the news, Agent Coulson immediately ordered his subordinates not to act rashly and then drove to the location where they had landed.
Thor's mood was somewhat complex upon learning that his father was not dead. He felt both joy and sadness. He hadn't expected his own brother to deceive him for the throne.
The other person could have been straightforward; there was no need for such roundabout tactics. A throne meant far less to him than his own brother. If it were the old him, he might have mocked the other person and then given up the throne.
Thinking of his previous arrogant demeanor, Thor felt a little embarrassed and rubbed his nose apologetically. He somewhat understood why Loki hadn't been straightforward.
"Loki! Tell me how you let the people from Jotunheim enter Asgard!" Heimdall stared sharply at Loki. He hadn't expected Loki to do such a thing.
"Do you think the Rainbow Bridge is the only way to enter Asgard? There are many secret passages that even you cannot see!" Loki's face revealed a hint of smugness. Then, with a gloomy expression, he said in a cold tone, "You have committed treason. As the king, I declare that you are no longer the gatekeeper and no longer a citizen of Asgard!"
Heimdall listened calmly as Loki read out the decree. With an unpleasant tone, he said, "Then I no longer need to obey you either!"
Loki sneered as he saw the blade coming towards him. He flipped his right hand, and the Casket of Ancient Winters appeared in his hand. A cold aura flowed along the blade, freezing Heimdall.
After everything was done, Loki opened the Rainbow Bridge and sent the Destroyer to Earth. Sitting in the back seat, Coulson looked at Yihu beside him and whispered, "What do you think of that scene just now?"
"What is there to say? Isn't it all clearly written in the myths?" Yi Hu shrugged innocently, spreading his hands, just as a whirlwind formed in the sky, and a powerful shockwave sent the dust on the ground flying.
After the dust settled, Coulson looked at the dark Destroyer and whispered, "Another Tony Stark?" He was about to step forward to stop it when he heard a voice from behind.
"If I were you, I wouldn't go up there and seek death!"
Coulson hesitated for a moment, about to say something, when he saw the Destroyer open its faceplate, revealing the blazing flames inside. A pillar of fire shot straight towards the blocking car. Watching the car instantly turn into nothingness, Coulson swallowed and turned to run.
Yi Hu stepped out of the car, looking solemnly at the Destroyer. He had constructed a layer of a psychic shield in front of the car earlier, but it was completely ineffective against the flames from the Destroyer's beam.
Controlled by Loki, the Destroyer walked past Yi Hu, and in his eyes, these mortals were like ants. As long as they didn't get in his way, he wouldn't bother crushing them.
"Why didn't you stop him? Do you realize the magnitude of the disaster this will cause?" Coulson looked at Yi Hu with righteous words. At this moment, Yi Hu seemed like the embodiment of justice. Yi Hu turned and flew towards the town, ready to experience the Destroyer's power up close.
Under Loki's control, the Destroyer turned everything in its path into nothingness. Feeling the power of the Destroyer, Loki's face revealed a hint of a smile. This kind of power was something he had never experienced before.
Seeing the unstoppable Destroyer, Sif and the others felt a sinking feeling in their hearts. Although they were elite soldiers, they couldn't guarantee victory against the Destroyer. They had heard about the legends surrounding their opponent since they were young.
Thor immediately instructed Jane Foster and the others to disperse the crowd. Hogun, wielding his axe, charged towards the Destroyer. Before he could get close, a beam of light blasted him into a nearby supermarket. Seeing that he was still alive, the Destroyer unleashed another beam of flame, reducing the entire supermarket to ashes.
Hogun's armor had changed from its initial bright silver to black. He looked extremely disheveled. If it weren't for the enchanted armor he was wearing, he would have perished moments ago.
Sif held a longsword forged from Uru metal and pierced it through the Destroyer's chest, thinking that it had stopped moving. Just as she was about to approach to celebrate, the Destroyer spun 360 degrees and shot a beam of light towards Sif.
Yi Hu intercepted the subsequent attack from the Destroyer on Sif with a heat ray, but it only caused a slight reddening of the Destroyer's chest in the face of its fiery beam.
Yi Hu retracted the heat ray and calmly looked at the beam of light approaching him. Sif shouted and rushed towards Yi Hu, wanting to save her savior. The intense beam of light stopped one meter in front of Yi Hu.
Loki's face showed a moment of astonishment, then he increased the output of his magical energy. The beam of light emitted by the Destroyer suddenly doubled in size, and the powerful energy came within thirty centimeters of Yi Hu, despite his psychic shield.
A few drops of blood fell to the ground, and Sif looked at the man in front of her in astonishment. It was the first time she had seen a powerful person from Midgard like this. Yi Hu once again used his laser eyes and collided head-on with the Destroyer's beam.
The two intense rays of heat quickly raised the temperature in the surroundings. Just as Coulson revealed a victorious smile, Yi Hu grabbed Sif next to him and quickly flew into the sky. The searing beam of light, no longer obstructed by Yi Hu, pierced through the entire town, turning everything along the way into nothingness.
