After the first surprise I had with Max, I already expected something like this, but damn, her ability evolved into something completely different. And why the hell do her ability and Max's have something to do with chaotic energy? Even mine depends on the same energy. If it was just a hypothesis before, now I'm even more convinced that it has to do with the fragments I used to create those Compound V syringes. Could it be that the fragments, inclined towards negativity, corrupted their abilities to the point of creating something entirely different? No matter how I look at it, it must be so.

I wonder if the corruption affects their original personalities. Could the same thing have happened to me without me realizing it? Maybe so, but it doesn't matter. After all, these are good news. Only a personality like that can survive in a world where the strongest fist prevails. Even if it completely changed their abilities, they only became stronger.

Although they lost some versatility, they've finally taken a path to focus on. Lisa was the least promising in terms of combat, and this ability suits her like a glove. It proves that investing in them wasn't a bad idea. They just need to get used to their powers. In the meantime, let's see "Leo's" ability. (I said in my mind as I used [Identify]).

After checking Leo's status, I just accepted it without further thought. Saying anything now would only depress me more. My awakened ability seems like the one they give for logging in to any game. But knowing they are my subordinates and stronger only benefits me.

This guy will be my greatest weapon for mass killings, so I'm excited to see them in action. I'm thinking about heading straight to New York. What could bring me more benefits than a bustling place like that? While we might have slight trouble with something like the army, the X-Men would be the ones to show up quickly to protect the mutants' already tarnished reputation in society.
