Something doesn't seem right

(3rd PoV)

"Umm, hi?"

Gwen returned home this morning, only to see her dad waiting for her at the door.

"Where were you last night, again, young lady?"

"Project-"

"Peter returned home from Harry's hospital last night, at around 8 pm. I checked. The question is, where were you? Were you with him?"

"...Yes."

There was no use in trying to deny it. Afterall, her father is the head of NYPD. If he starts investigating more, many things might come out.

George sighed.

"We will talk about this in the evening when I get home."

Shooting her a glare, he left home to go on his duty.

Thankfully, her Mom has went to Her mom's for a week. So, she is alone at home.

As Gwen saw her father leave in his car from her window, she couldn't help but sigh.

These days, she has been a lot busy. Well, just so much has been happening. She gained superpowers, which also makes her, umm, excited around her crush, and now, boyfriend Harry. And it also made her thinking ability a lot faster, resulting in her being able to complete the Extremis Project way ahead of the time she thought it would take her.

But, these superpowers were not just simply superpowers. They are also a source of tragedy. It is a very high possibility that her father might die.

Previously, she wouldn't have believed these superstitious words. But, since superpowers are real, they might as well be.

After shutting down the window, she began to work.

Since her father might be in danger, she must fight criminals that might endanger his life.

She shot webs from the index and middle finger of each of her hand, and produced the material she will use to build her costume. Spandex is only going to be uncomfortable and tear easily.

After some hours of work, her costume was ready.

"Hmm... This seems to be good."

She stared at herself in the mirror, and after confirming that her identity can't be found out, she went out of her house through the backyard, slipping through the surveillance that is around her house.

There is one thing that has been bothering her mind though. The patient that got the Extremis. He was suspicious. Afterall, he was using a false identity.

Just to be sure though, she decided to take a look at Harry Hospital. Extremis is a really good cure if used right. But if it got into the hands of the government, that will be a disaster to the whole world.

But, as she was swinging towards the hospital, ignoring the onlookers, her eyes fell on a girl with white hair, in a black catsuit running towards the same direction.

And then, her eyes fell on Harry in the distance, who seems to be tailing that patient.

Are those two suspicious people somehow connected!?

Gwen rushed to the hospital, to catch that suspicious girl who was quite close to the hospital.

Something doesn't seem right!
