Chapter 108: I Won't Sleep With You!
As a last resort, General Ross decided not to let the two women take action.
"Understood, cover me."
Bronski set aside his gun and picked up a howitzer to confront the Hulk.
"Boom—"
"Sister, this guy is so powerful. Have we ever fought someone like this?"
Karla looked at the Hulk, who was fierce and violent, swallowing nervously.
"She is a bit scared before the fight. The Supergirl's combat abilities are indeed far inferior to her cousin's; it's no wonder the original record is so poor."
"Don't worry, nothing will happen. I'll help you if it gets dangerous. Thor gave me a secret weapon."
Natalia smiled mysteriously, reached into her bag, and pulled out a hammer.
Mjölnir!
No one truly knows how formidable the Hulk is. In theory, his strength is directly proportional to his anger.
Under normal circumstances, Stark's anti-Hulk armor could handle him, but the Hulk can become explosive when enraged. Natalia and Karla would find it difficult to manage him.
To be safe, Thor lent Natalia the hammer. She was the only one among her female acquaintances who could lift Mjölnir and receive its thunderous power.
However, this power was not as great as Thor's.
In the entire Marvel Universe, there was only one person who could match Mjölnir in terms of compatibility, and that was Jane Foster.
"Well, do you... really want to invest in my research? You need to think it over carefully; investing in my research may not guarantee returns!"
Knowing Thor's intention to invest, Jane Foster didn't immediately agree, despite her assistant Daisy's persistent signals.
Daisy was almost in tears—"Jane, someone is finally willing to invest in you, and it's a shareholder of the renowned Stark Industries. You don't realize what this means!"
These days, securing investment isn't just about skill; you also need fame and influence. Jane Foster, with her unassuming and straightforward nature, didn't leverage these factors. Winning such a lottery was unlikely.
No wonder they ended up breaking up in history.
Thor smiled faintly. "It's fine. I've already achieved my financial goals. Money is just a number to me. Doing something meaningful is far more important than wealth. Scientific exploration is clearly the most meaningful pursuit."
Thor spoke with serious intent, moving both Daisy and Eric beside him.
This is a man of true character!
Jane Foster was clearly touched. She looked at Thor, her eyes full of unspoken emotions.
After a moment, she raised her head and said, "Even if you say that, I won't sleep with you."
Thor: "???"
"Pfft…hahaha…"
Thor's mind was filled with wild laughter, leaving him speechless.
This emotional intelligence—no wonder you were kicked out of the original book!
Daisy and Eric glared at Jane Foster with disdain.
Jane Foster regretted her words immediately. She had spoken impulsively.
Thor's reputation in this area was notorious. It was said that his manor had become a haven for young girls, aged twelve or thirteen...some people compared him to Epstein
In reality, Thor's reputation wasn't so bad initially. However, after Stark inspired him to change his ways and start anew, he tried to shed his persona as a playboy. To distance himself from this reputation, he chose to redirect hostility.
Bronski, on the other hand, clearly had a rough day. First, Natalia slapped him on the plane, then he was publicly humiliated by a ten-year-old child, which bruised his ego.
Now, he faced someone clearly powerful. His massive body and wide movements made it challenging to use the agility granted by the super-soldier serum effectively.
Leading the Hulk to an uninhabited field, two vehicle-mounted sonic cannons from Stark Industries were already set up. The piercing sound waves blasted toward the Hulk.
Stark Industries' black technology was unique. This device was designed to pierce through defenses, and even the strongest defenses would struggle against it.
The sound waves hit the Hulk. Although they couldn't truly harm him, they made him cover his ears in pain.
Amid Betty Ross's desperate cries, the invincible Hulk fell.
