Luke trained his mutant ability again, this time, his ability was able to take the bench to the ceiling of the apartment, he felt he could leave it there for 10 minutes or even more if he tried harder.
He slowly put the bench back on the floor and now tried to use his ability on himself, decreasing the gravity of himself.
Luke felt his body lighter, being taken 5 centimeters above the ground, but it didn't last long.
Luke fainted and fell to the ground, not only did he faint, but he also became unconscious.
He didn't know it at the time, but some attributes increased very quickly in those few seconds he was in low gravity.
For visualization purposes: Mind: ⟪2.5⟫; Physical Strength ⟪1.5⟫.
In addition to the increase in his attributes, a new attribute was added in Infinite Evolution that was upgraded to a new level.
'Infinite Evolution' works by identifying attributes and skills. In the previous level, the attributes identified were Mind, Physical Strength, Strength and Speed. These attributes were identified and Infinite Evolution was unable to identify new attributes.
But with the new level, new attributes can be identified, but how they are identified remains a mystery. Most of the time, it starts to identify with the user's contact.
Infinite Evolution is a very mysterious ability. It gives Luke an instinct, but it doesn't give much information about how it works exactly.
Why isn't intelligence an identified attribute? Because it doesn't have contact? But at all times, human beings think and therefore have the intelligence to resolve their thoughts. Infinite Evolution, however, didn't identify it, and it's up to Luke to try to resolve it.
When the Infinite Evolution ability doesn't identify an attribute, it doesn't mean that this attribute doesn't exist, just that it can't evolve infinitely like the identified attributes.
Now, going back to the new identified attribute, it's Low Gravity Resistance. We need to understand that low gravity can provide floating, but it also causes lack of balance, muscle atrophy, loss of bone density and other problems to the human body.
Using it on himself is a risk for Luke, he didn't know, but his Gravity Control ability does not include a body resistant to gravitational changes.
But fortunately his 'Infinite Evolution' ability has evolved and gained a new attribute with the ability to evolve infinitely with practice.
His Low Gravity Resistance is at ⟪1.1⟫, being 0.1 points more than a normal human being. In theory, it would not be possible to withstand low gravity, but his Gravity Control ability has improved and is very close to reaching Level 3. This improvement in Gravity Control makes his control more refined and pure, the gravity that hits him does not have the same impact as gravity normally hits another person.
Of course, Luke doesn't have such precise control over gravity, after all he's still at Level 2, but it greatly reduces the need for his body to resist low gravity.
Luke is still lying unconscious, so he doesn't realize when his window is opened and three women enter his apartment, they also become unconscious and lie on the floor.
Meanwhile, at Midtown High.
Jean Grey was alone, she looked at a screen showing a scene that made her clench her fist in anger.
She was already suspicious of Scott who went out at night and came back late, but he always had a good excuse and always had accomplices who covered for him.
But when she followed him once, she discovered that he came to school late in the afternoon, when everyone was leaving and the cleaning staff started cleaning the classrooms.
So she decided to put cameras in all the classrooms, of course, all hidden. She spent a lot of money buying them, but her suspicions spoke louder and she was right.
"You two bastards!" Jean Grey grabbed the computer mouse and threw it at the screen that showed Scott and Emma kissing.
She saw everything that happened earlier, Scott and Emma kissing, Luke interrupting, Scott running away and herself appearing by accident.
She entered the room by pure coincidence, she really didn't know that her friend was cheating on her, she only found out when she was watching the camera footage.
Jean sighed and tried to calm down, but she couldn't take it anymore and used her telekinesis to throw things at the screen, then broke the screen in two and crumpled it into a ball.
"Do you want to cheat on me and be okay?" Jean muttered and her green eyes had a vague yellow color emerging, but it soon disappeared. "I'll show you two what cheating is, you bastard and you shitty slut..."
Jean continued cursing at the two and yelling, but calmed down when she saw her arm bleeding slightly. She ended up cutting herself with a piece of glass that flew from the broken screen.
"Calm down, Jean." Jean Grey cleaned the cut on her arm and went home.
She left the classroom in the school without cleaning up the mess she made. Normally she wouldn't do something like that, but her anger at being betrayed made her not care about these small problems.
English is not my main language.
I will be trying to maintain a consistency of 1 chapter per day, it may come out late or early because of the time zone.
