"HARRY!"
Harry heard his name being shouted from the living room, but he had no interest in answering it. His eyes were closed as he lay on his bed.
He was incredibly tired from the activities of the day and he just wanted to rest.
Whatever Anthony wanted right now, he could go fuck himself for it.
BANG!
Harry heard the loud sound of his door being kicked open. He flinched a bit, but he decided to maintain the facade of being asleep.
Suddenly, he felt himself being yanked from the ankle and he screamed as he was thrown through the wall.
Their apartment was two stories up so he fell to the ground and landed hard. He got up with a groan and looked up to see Devastation looking down at him from up there.
"What the fuck?"
Harry didn't understand what was going on, but he surely didn't want to wait to understand. Devastation roared and jumped down.
Harry's gaze turned resolute.
"FLAME ON!" Harry shouted and water surrounded his body instead of fire.
"Wait, what?" Harry looked up and instead of Devastation, he saw a whole skyscraper falling on him!
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
BOOM!!
...
Harry sat up with a jolt and looked around in a panic to see that he was still in his room which was still intact.
It was a dream.
He groaned. His eyes felt so heavy and he wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep, but his throat felt dry.
Harry lazily got up from his bed and walked out of his bedroom to go to the kitchen. He walked through the passageway to the living room.
His brain was too tired to register that Anthony and Daisy were in the living room watching him as he walked past them to the kitchen where he opened the fridge and got out a bottle of water.
After drinking it, he regained himself a little. It was when he walked out of the kitchen that he noticed Daisy and Anthony.
"What are you guys doing up this late?" Harry asked groggily.
Anthony and Daisy turned to him simultaneously with confused expressions on their faces.
"Bro, it's like 9 am. What do you mean by late?" Anthony asked.
"Huh?" Harry was confused. He rubbed his eyes and looked outside the window to see the sun up in the sky. "Well shit."
"How long were you asleep?" Daisy asked amusingly.
"Apparently, a long while. I had a long day yesterday," Harry replied. His voice was clearer now. He still felt sleepy, but he was fully awake now.
"Long day?" Daisy asked. "What happened?"
"Gym and the rest of that stuff," Anthony replied in Harry's stead before turning to him, "Go to bed if you feel tired."
"What about the schedule today?" Harry asked.
"It's a Sunday. We both agreed that we'll exclude Sundays, remember?" Anthony reminded.
"Oh shit. That's true. In that case, I'll see y'all in a few hours," Harry waved as he walked away.
As he reached his room's door, he stopped and walked back into the living room.
"Hold up," Harry said and Anthony and Daisy turned to him. "What are you doing here?" He pointed at Daisy.
"She's my guest," Anthony replied in annoyance.
"Relax Tony, I'm not trying to be offensive. I'm just, you know..." Harry gestured wildly at Daisy in hopes that she understood. He would rather not talk about their night gaming sessions in front of Anthony.
"Oh!" Daisy exclaimed when she realized. "I'm just hanging out with Anthony. I'm free till the evening."
"I didn't know you guys hung out," Harry was surprised.
"Really? I thought it was obvious," Daisy replied.
"No, like, I knew. But I thought it was a strictly neighbor zone stuff," Harry said.
"What? Wait a minute, what is going on through your head?" Daisy asked as she tried not to laugh. The whole thing amused her.
"I'm so confused," Anthony said as he looked back and forth at them.
"You tell me. I'm just pretty confused right now," Harry said to Daisy. Ignoring Anthony.
"I and Anthony are friends."
"What kind of friends?"
"The kind of friend that hangs out at each other's houses. The same way I'm friends with you," Daisy laughed.
"Oh shit. Hold on, I'm not jealous or anything. I was just confused about what is going on here," Harry tried to clarify when he realized what Daisy was thinking.
"Yeah, sure," Daisy smiled.
"No, I'm serious. I don't swing that way."
"You're gay?" Daisy's mouth opened in surprise. "Would never have known."
"What? No! Jesus! That's not what I— You know what? Fuck it. Good night," Harry turned and began to walk away.
"It's way past night time genius," Daisy laughed and Harry turned to show her a middle finger.
Daisy laughed even harder and Harry rolled his eyes and was about to walk back to bed when they heard the sound of the doorbell.
"Want to get it?" Harry asked Anthony.
"You're standing. You'll get to the door faster," Anthony said with a blank expression.
Harry sighed as he went over to the door. He opened it and on the other side was Laura!
"Laura?! What the fuck are you doing here?" Harry asked in surprise.
Laura walked past him and entered the living room. Anthony immediately stood up the moment he saw her.
"What's going on?" Daisy asked as she noticed the tense atmosphere the room had gotten the moment Laura had entered.
Laura looked at Daisy and back at Anthony. Her eyes were enough to tell him what she wanted.
"Hey Daisy, can you come back later? We've got something we've got to handle," Anthony said and Daisy left without any questions.
Harry locked the door behind her before moving into the living room.
"Why are you still wearing pyjamas by this time?" Laura asked Harry.
"Just woke up," Harry responded and Laura shook her head.
"You both are coming with me," Laura informed.
"We've got an issue."
