A man in a wheelchair could be seen sitting in a colossal, silver, spherical device adorned with intricate wiring and glowing indicators with a platform protruding out from the middle of it.
The man wore a spherical device on his head that was connected to the wires around the room.
After a few minutes, he removed the device to reveal a bald head and wrinkled face. He said nothing as he stared into the blank air.
"Is there a problem, professor?" Asked an individual behind the old man. As he turned around, he looked at the blue ape in the suit and glasses behind him.
"It seems I've lost track of a mutant I've been keeping my eye on." He says while squinting his eyes.
"How is that possible? Do you think there's a problem with Cerebro?" Asks the ape. However, he wasn't answered. Instead, the old man stared into blank space, deep in thought.

"Tonight's the night, Darwin." A male could be seen wearing a black hoodie and mask with black lenses, as well as baggy black pants with multiple pockets with holsters strapped to them containing a knife for each leg. Black and silver forearm guards, gloves and boots, all designed in the same fashion.
"Looking good, Mr Superhero." Says Darwin. Isaac opens his window, looks out and breathes in.
[Congratulations!]
[You have gained the F-rank Evolution "Tech Veil".]
'What the…'
With a leap, he jumped out of his window.
"Light Gravity, x100."
With a tremendous burst in speed, Isaac soared through the sky, his eyes wide open as the lenses protected him from the wind. Despite the winds still affecting his breathing, he could go for some time without taking a break. Isaac smiled widely and laughed as he witnessed himself moving much faster than the cars.
He knew no matter how many times he did this, it'd never get old. As evidenced by his grin that was identical to the one he had the first time he flew, wider even.
Despite being in the city and with countless buildings blocking his way, he flew and abruptly turned direction as if the laws of physics didn't apply to him.
He travelled through the city and soon, he caught a red car speeding down the road after it was successful in shaking the police cars behind it.
"I got here in time! The perfect cliche crime for my superhero debut. Light Gravity x60." He says as he slows down. He gradually descends before the cars and increases the amount of weight acting upon his body, so as not to completely crush the vehicle.
"What the hell! Did he just fall from the sky?" Says the driver as he and his two other partners witnessed a man descend from the sky, seemingly stopping the vehicle with his body. They tried to step on the gas, however it proved useless. It was as if they were trying to force their way through a brick wall.
Meanwhile, Isaac looked at the scenery. From the dark roads to the dirty, gum-filled and garbage-littered streets, one could definitely tell they were in New York. I mean, just the smell of nicotine and smoke, the sound of distant police sirens and the occasional breaking of glass, the sight of a hobo passing every so often and even the cold night breeze that never failed to find a way to pass your clothes could imply it.
While waiting, he also looked at the new skill he obtained. He was enjoying the moment in the sky so he wasn't too focused on it.
[Tech Veil (F)
Description:
This evolution allows you to stay completely invisible to any camera or technology.]
"Sounds useful to me. Now you don't have to worry about a street camera capturing you jumping out of your window." Said Darwin.
"Yeah, I guess I can see how that could threaten my life. I wouldn't want a villain I put away to kill me in my sleep. Not to mention I can pull off my pranks way smoother now. Is it active right now?" Asks Isaac as Darwin sighs.
[Would you like to deactivate Tech Veil?]
"No, no. It's better to keep it on while I'm out."
Meanwhile, the robbers finally jumped out of their car after failing to pass the masked man, pointing their pistols at Isaac, who seemed to still be looking around.
"Get off the car, punk. Or get your brains decorated on the floor." Said the driver who now held a pistol to Isaac's face.
"Well, that's just rude." He says, hopping onto his feet and backhanding the driver. He had the skin of steel, so even a light tap from him was enough to hurt a grown adult.
The driver skidded a few feet as he came to a stop, completely unconscious and with his buttocks facing the remaining men.
"That's awkward." Commented Darwin. The remaining criminals looked at their fallen comrade and pulled the trigger of their pistols. The gunshots echoed through the night as Isaac jumped a little at the loud noise.
He was immune to the bullets, but that doesn't mean the lingering reflex to get behind the cover wasn't still there.
It wasn't long until the criminals had emptied their guns and still found Isaac standing in his same position. To say they were confused would be an understatement. They stared at Isaac with wide eyes and one even had his mouth wide open. They knew he hadn't moved because they saw the bullet holes on Isaac's hoodie.
"Light Gravity x60."
Isaac flew toward one of them, grabbed him and ascended into the air. The other could do nothing but watch as he witnessed his partner get carried into the sky and let go, only for him to smash into the car.
"Did you just kill him?" Asks Darwin with an exasperated tone.
"I hope not. Killing a guy on my Superhero debut would look bad for me." He says, dropping to the ground and causing a small earthquake that prompted the last criminal to fall on his ass.
"That's your problem with him dying? The more you talk the more I see your father in you." Says Darwin with a sigh, to which a smile could be seen on Isaac's face.
"Hey, thanks, man."
Meanwhile, the remaining criminal stared at Isaac who was talking to himself.
"Who are you?" He asked, with scrunched eyebrows and wide eyes.
"That's a great question. Hey, what do you think my superhero name should be?" Asked Isaac, to which the criminal replied confusingly. I mean, who else could he be talking to?
"You don't pick your name. The media picks it for you. Just like Iron Man and Captain America." Replied Darwin, to which Isaac nodded in understanding.
"Perfect. I'll have to make a good first impression then." He says, walking toward the last criminal and flicking him in the head, causing the man to jolt his head back and faint.
Isaac walked back to the vehicle and found countless duffle bags filled to the brim with money. After all, these criminals did just rob a bank and escape through the sewers. It was a smart plan if they weren't dealing with a speeding steel rocket that was Isaac.
Isaac heard the police sirens in the distance as he prepared to leave. He figured they would take care of the rest. He didn't need to be here in case the officers started to assume he was a criminal too.
"Besides, superheroes don't show themselves on their first outage. They let the public come to assumptions about said superheroes' identity and powers."
"Then when there's a supervillain terrorising the city and all other superheroes prove useless, in comes the rumoured superhero to save the day. Thus gaining his title as the greatest superhero." Said Isaac as he started to fly away.
"Oh, Isaac. You are but a fish in a pond. You have yet to experience what the violent sea has to offer you. I'll let you live in your fantasy for now." Says Darwin as Isaac ignores his words, finally bolting away at extraordinary speeds, leaving the officers who were a few minutes away to clean up the crime scene.
However, unbeknownst to Isaac, an uninvited guest had arrived on the scene, licking her lips.

"Alright, this was fun at first, but it's boring now." A man in a mask with black lenses could be seen over a few unconscious males with ski masks.
Isaac was currently at the top of a skyscraper. This specific floor seemed to be a jewellery store or even an auction house. Isaac couldn't tell. To him, it was just rich people's stuff, which meant it attracted these cockroaches.
They were planning to take what they could and parachute out of the now-broken window.
"Criminals have gotten creative, haven't they." Says Isaac.
"They have to. In a world which has countless superheroes, they have no choice but to rely on their wits." Replied Darwin. However, Isaac was drawn away from his explanation as he heard glass breaking behind him.
He quickly darted his eyes, only to find a scene he couldn't help but stare at.
As the moon cast a silvery glow through the window, Isaac's eyes caught a glimpse of a figure. A female perched on the windowsill, carrying a bag of glimmering jewels turned back to Isaac with emerald eyes sparkling mischievously.
With a sly smirk, she acknowledged his presence. "Caught me red-handed. Care to join me in a chase?" She purrs, her voice carrying a hint of playfulness and confidence.
A rush of adrenaline coursed through Isaac's veins. Mesmerised, he found himself captivated by her audacious charm.
Her white hair, sleek body with a form-fitting black suit and emerald eyes made her look as if she was a precious being as she sat under the moon, winking at Isaac as she hopped off the window…
"What the hell am I thinking about?!" Yelled Isaac as he dashed to the window, seeing the female that had somehow made it safely to the roof of a smaller building.
"How the hell…"
"Oh wow, I think you've just made a fool of yourself. I could practically see you drooling." Commented Darwin, causing Isaac to yell at him.
"What are you waiting for? You have a cat burglar to catch."
