Upon returning to the villa yard, Jerry heard the anxious voice of Watanuki.

Before preparing to go to Fei Wang's lair, Yuuko specifically asked Watanuki to stay and look after the store, instructing him not to follow. She probably wanted to spare Watanuki from witnessing her disappearance.
