"This is it huh. I never imagined I'd actually see the infamous Xavier institute. This is before the whole Mutant decimation event." ' Of all the events that I remember from any of the x-men comics, Wanda being responsible for the disappearance of the mutants is the one I remember the most.'
The young man lost himself in thought as he stared at the institute from the front gate. The man was covered up by a cloak that hid his identity. He was barefoot, standing at a massive 6'6 and had a slim build, but his body was covered in muscles. His skin was tan, his hair was white and spiky, and his eyes were a solid red. Though most of his features were hidden by his cloak. The part of him that stuck out the most was a giant katana wrapped around the back of his cloak. The sword was a mystical nodachi with a black and gold tsuka wrap the sheath was a solid gold with white swirl patterns.
' I still can't believe that jackass made me a mutant. Of all the teams from this universe the X-men are the ones I know the least about. Oh, well I shouldn't have to many problems here.'
"Hey. Hey. HEY!"
A man called out. The young man so lost in his thoughts didn't notice the voice. It wasn't until the man grabbed the arm of his cloak that the young man realized there was someone behind him.
" DON'T TOUCH ME!" The young man yelled swatting away the arm that grabbed him and the man as well.
" Arhhhh!" The man yelled as he crashed through a nearby tree.
The young man turned to see the scene before him a young woman with a slender build and black hair.
' Oh, shit I did it again.'
The young man thought as he realized what he had done
" Raaaah!" The young woman yelled as she extended two metal claws from her hand and attacked the young man.
" Wait, I didn't mean to hurt him."
The young man said as he dodged the woman's claws.
" Calm down, before I hurt you."
' Actually, judging by the claws I'd say this is x-23 aka Laura Kinney. So, she should be as durable as wolverine. At the very least she shouldn't die if I hit here.' The young man thought while dodging another swipe of the woman's claws, this time aimed at the man's nether regions.
" FINE THEN!"
The young man yelled before vanishing from the woman's vision.
The woman sniffed the air hoping to use her nose to find the man who disappeared, but before she could move another muscle the young man drove his fist into the girl's stomach and drove her into the ground creating a crater in front of the institute's gates.
The sensation of pain was absent from the woman who was staring at the sky, blood dripping from her mouth, questioning what had just happened to her.
' What happened to me? I can't feel my body. Did he punch me?' The young woman asked
" Are we finished here young lady?"
The young man asked calmly to the young woman.
" LAURA!"
The man from earlier yelled
' And this must be wolverine.'
The young man thought
" That was a big mistake, Bub."
The man said before he grew three claws from his hand.
' He took Laura down so easily. What kind of monster is this?'
The man wondered
" I didn't come here looking for trouble."
" Then you shouldn't have started it."
Wolverine said as he attacked the young man
' Like father, like daughter.'
The young man thought before engaging wolverine.
' He really is a strong fighter. His attacks are directly aimed at my blind and vital spots.'
The young thought before feeling a sharp pain in his back.
" Argh!"
The young man grunted as he looked behind
' Laura she's back up. That healing factor of theirs is amazing.'
The young man asked before getting slashed by logan in his leg
" You got some hard skin there."
Logan said with a grin on his face.
" This doesn't hurt. All you two are doing is getting me mad."
The young man said
' This is really starting to piss me off. Though, this one time considering it was me who started this by throwing logan across the field. I'll let it go.' The young thought
" Yer mad are ya? Then yer gonna be downright furious by the time we're done with ya."
Logan taunted
' Alright, that's enough of this.'
The young man thought before grabbing both wolverine and Laura by their throats and slamming them into each other.
" Why don't you two settle down!"
The young man said as he threw both wolverine and Laura.
" Are we finished here."
The young man asked before getting shot in the back by a beam
" Yes, you are."
A man with a vizor said as he and a woman in all white approached. The woman gave a look of disgust to Laura out of the corner of her eye.
' I know that beam from anywhere. Cyclops and Emma frost.'
Emma stared at the young man in disbelief. Cyclops looked at the woman and then back at the young man.
" Who are you and what do you want?"
Cyclops asked
" I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to start a fight. I don't really have a name. I was abandoned long before I could be given a proper one. But the monks who tried to exercise me all called me one name. Asura."
The young man said as he removed what was left of the tattered cloak. Revealing his tan skin and body markings.
'Oh my god those markings and his body It looks like it was sculpted out of marble.'
Emma thought
' Those muscles, the way he fights. You only get something like that out a lifetime of intense training and battle. Not to mention that insane skin of his, we hardly made a scratch in it. No wonder Laura and I lost.'
Logan thought
" Well, asura you've told us your name but not the reason you're here."
Cyclops said
" I came here because I heard this place was a safe haven for mutants who needed help with controlling their abilities."
" It would seem you have quite the control already. So, why would you need our help?"
Emma asked
" Yes, I do have control over some of my abilities, but not all of them."
" What do you mean Exactly?"
Cyclops asked
" What I need help with is what led to us fighting in the first place. My anger."
" Yer anger?"
Logan asked.
" Yes, my powers are well they are heavily controlled by my emotions. The angrier I get the stronger I get. I was hoping I could get help with controlling my anger."
" I see, well this place is indeed the one you were looking for asura. Do you mind giving us some of your general information so that we can get you enrolled? I need your age, height, weight, allergies, date of birth, parent's things like that."
Cyclops said shocking Emma
' Scott! What the hell are you thinking? This man is a clear problem even more so than that thing'
Emma said telepathically to Cyclops
' He's come to us for help Emma, how can we turn him away?'
' Scott, stop and think about this for a moment will you. You're seriously letting in two very dangerous creatures.'
' Creatures Emma? Really? They are mutants just like us. Wolverine vouches for Laura and this asura has acknowledged he needs help. that is more than enough for me to welcome them in. besides Emma look at him. He shrugged off my optic blast, beat both logan and Laura by himself, and even blocked you out of his mind. He's powerful, if guided down the right the direction he could a great addition to the x-men'
'Fine, but if he hurts anyone he's out.'
Emma said ending their conversation.
" Alright, I'm 17 years old, 6'6, I weight 635 lbs. I have no family that I am aware of, I grew up in south Asia. I have no allergies. Is there anything else you need to know?"
" I don't have anything else currently come with us and we'll introduce you two to the other students. We might as well test your abilities while we're at it as well."
Cyclops said as he motioned for the two to follow him.
" I'm sorry for earlier you two, I don't believe I've gotten your names."
Asura said
" S'alright the name is logan kid and this is Laura. Welcome to the institute."
Logan said to the young man
" Thank you."
Asura said to logan.
" Laura, I am sorry for hitting you."
Asura said as he extended a hand.
Laura snarled and slapped the man's hand away causing the man to get in the woman's face and snarl back at her.
" Hm, forgive me I shouldn't get upset over something like that."
" It's alright."
Laura mumbled out
" Hey, you two let's go."
Cyclops called out.
" Yes, sir!"
The two yelled as they both ran to catch up to the man.
