Ch 85: Adjusting

On the Cultivation Star, Tong Xuan Realm, Among the quite and serene embrace of nature of a lush forest, where the scent and aura of life encompassed everything. Small monster beasts roam around without care.

Suddenly a boom sounded, which caused ripples in this serene atmosphere.

Amongst the lush and green forest, three youths, one man and two women, with extraordinary and eyecatching looks and auras sat cross-legged with their eyes closed, while an old man with a vigilant and powerful aura, looked after the three.

The young man looked to be around 1.95 meter tall, had jade white skin, had long black hair that fell wildly around his back, but still gave him refined aura, his body had a perfect proportion of muscles that neither looked too much nor too less. The man was wearing a white set of robes that had golden patterns of a dragon drawn on them, enhancing his musculine and attractive features, while his body released a heavy pressure that kept on accumulating.

On the other hand, the two young women were equally beautiful and eyecatching as the young man, with the two possessing distinct auras around them.

The first young woman looked to be around the height of 1.7 meters, her skin was jade white that glistened under the rays of the sun. She had long lustrous black hair that extended beyond her back, her heart shaped face, with a small nose, cherry lips, gave her an elegant and noble look. She was wearing a set of ice blue robes, with snowflake patterns on it, that covered her slander and well-endowed body, she was excluding a cold and heavy pressure that would make everyone admire her but not approach her out of fear and reverence.

The second young woman, had the same height of 1.7 meters, and the same jade white skin that looked and was devoided of any impurities (no offense to anyone, as even I feel slightly weird writing this again and again). But unlike the first woman, she had long brown hair that was held in a high ponytail but still extended beyond her back. Her face, which was covered by a veil that still couldn't hide her face's beautiful features, was a perfect heart shaped. She was wearing a short purple dress that reached the middle of her thigh, along with a set of thigh high black stockings, which showed just a tiny bit of her skin between the stockings and the dress. She was also releasing a heavy pressure that was quite equivalant to the first women, but instead of being cold, the pressure she released was pleasant as the nature surroundings her.

These three youths were none other than Yang Feng, Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang respectfully. While the old man who was looking after them was Meng Wu Ya.

After the four passed the Void Corridor in the Small World, they were transported to this forest and just as they exited the portal, the three youths felt something about their surroundings, difference in their surrounding Laws. Since they were from a 'Lower' world and had just entered this 'Higher' world, they were not accustomed to this world's Laws.

As this was a 'Higher' world, it had stronger rules and laws than their previous world, which was also one of the reasons that higher realm cultivators could be cultivated here. So after they had exited the portal, they sat down cross legged on the spot and started to adjust to the Laws of the world.

While they were adjusting to the laws here, their bodies started to absorb Qi from it's surroundings like a sponge in the water and this Qi which was many times purer, powerful and abundant from the Qi in the Lower world, helped them in consolidating and increasing their cultivation.

Meng Wu Ya who had known that this would happen calmly stood guard as the three adjusted.

It was only a few hours later that two pairs of eyes, one pair of Ice Blue and the other pair of Bronze color open, the eyes belonged to Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang respectfully, who had finally finished the process. They smiled as they opened their eyes as after the process was completed, they sensed that their cultivation had increased by a good margin when compared to their progress in the past few months combined.

As they looked around, they and Meng Wu Ya looked at Yang Feng who was still not finished. "Junior Brother Feng isn't finished yet?", said Xia Ning Chang, while Su Yan had the same thought. Honestly the two thought that he would have finished before them.

"Of course the brat isn't finished. He's going for a breakthrough.", answered Meng Wu Ya. He had been observing the three for hours now and he would be an idiot if he couldn't even figure this much out, considering how Yang Feng's aura never stopped increasing after he had started along with how his aura continued to get more refined and powerful which should have stopped more than teo-three hours ago, if he was just getting accustomed to the new laws.

"A breakthrough? Yang Feng's about to breakthrough to the 2nd stage?", Su Yan asked curiously. The two stood up and gave Yang Feng some distance to not accidentally disturb him, as Meng Wu Ya nodded at Su Yan's inquiry, which made the two women to be happy for Yang Feng's progress.

While they waited. Yang Feng was in a state of deep concentration. When he had exited the portal and started to adjust to and comprehend the laws in his surroundings, he noticed that his Qi was not only rising, it was also raging around and was getting agitated, which was the sign of having an imminent breakthrough.

'It looks like the fight with Yang Bai was alot more productive than just measuring my strength.', with that thought along with a thanks to his now deceased 'beloved martial uncle's, Yang Feng fully concentrated on absorbing the vast amount of Qi gathering around him.

It was three hours after Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang had finished that he finally felt the Stage/Realm barrier break, which instantly pushed his aura up by a few notches. Exhaling a breath, Yang Feng opened his black eyes that had a glint of red in them.

He then stood up and examined his body and increase in strength. 'I am atleast 10 times stronger than I was before. *Sigh* truly, even between realms stages the difference in power is too great.'

If before Yang Feng could fight and kill a cultivator in the 3rd stage Transcendent Realm of Yang Bai's caliber, at his complete strength. Now, he could fight tens of that same level at once. He then looked at his three companions and thanked them for standing guard, which they shrugged off and congratulated him on his breakthrough.

"We should leave here and go towards a human city.", said Meng Wu Ya. After gaining nods from the three, Meng Wu Ya led them towards a direction he felt, or remembered, where a human ruled city should be situated.

The four flew for hours through the night and as the sun started to rose, they saw a few tall buildings from a distance. As they neared the lightly visible buildings, they saw a city with big gate and walls around it. On the wall right above the big gates, which was guarded by a few Immortal Ascension Realm cultivators, was written 'Blackwood City'.

The city was of a great size, which Yang Feng estimated was a few times bigger than Capital City from the Small World. In front of the gates of the city, was a big line of people and carriages, which was slowly entering the city.

Meng Wu Ya who was in the front of the group didn't stop in the line and flew towards the gates, with the three following him. When they reached the gate keepers, Meng Wu Ya landed, along with the three, and threw the entry fees for four to the guard while raising his aura, showing his cultivation. This was done to avoid any unnecessary drama, which worked as the guard grew a bit flustered and let them enter.

Yang Feng and the three followed behind Meng Wu Ya calmly as they knew that no matter where you go, there is always really only one rule, the strong decide the rules. Meng Wu Ya was strong and so he could do as he please, he also didn't really have to pay, but that would be bullying.

It has to be known that although in this world there are numerous Immortal Ascension Realm and many Transcendent Realm Cultivators, there are still only a few Saint Realm Cultivators and only those 1st Class Forces have a Saint Realm Cultivator among them.

As for cities guardians or City Lords, for low and middle rank cities, the city lords are Transcendent Realm Cultivators. While for high and top rank cities, the city lords are Saint Realm Cultivators. This city they had entered was just a middle rank city whose city lord should be a 3rd Order Transcendant, according to what Meng Wu Ya told them.

After walking for sometime, the group of four reached an inn and Meng Wu Ya booked four rooms, before he led them to his room saying he had something to discuss.

Once inside the rooms, Meng Wu Ya activated the isolation arrays installed in the room so that no one eavesdrops on them. The four then sat down on chairs. Meng Wu Ya then looked at Yang Feng and said with a serious expression, "now that we have returned to the Tong Xuan Realm. I want you to tell me what you really meant by what you said last time, when we had the 'talk'."

Yang Feng remembered the day of the 'talk' and now that he looked back, Meng Wu Ya's reaction looked quite funny to him.

When yang feng heard his question, he showed a sneer on his face and said," I mean what I said. You think that no one in this small world would know about the saint realm, about this world being a small secret world within the Tong Xuan Realm." When he said this, he saw Meng Wu Ya's eyes widen to their limits.

But he continued," you're nothing but a frog at the bottom of the well. Do you think that there is only a single world in existence, your Tong Xuan Realm? Let me tell you there are countless worlds which are 100s and 1000s of times better than Tong Xuan Realm in terms of resources and such. Do you know that after the Saint realm there is a Saint King Realm after which there is a Origin Returning Realm and than a Origin King Realm and even those realms are not the peak, infact real cultivation to the peak starts only after reaching the realm of Origin King Realm." Yang feng continued to bombard Meng Wu Ya with one bomb after the other.

But he still didn't stop there," Do you know that for every profession, after the Saint rank there is a Saint King Rank, Origin Returning Rank and so on? No you don't, you only reached the saint realm and think that it is the peak realms for cultivators. Is this the only peak you think Xia Ning Chang can reach? You don't even know that with her talent she can easily reach the realms beyond Origin King Realm."

By the end of it, Meng Wu Ya's mouth was hung open, his eyes looked like they will fall out from the sockets the next moment. It was too much of a shock for him to be suddenly dumped with such information.

Yang Feng sighed as he knew that this was coming, but didn't think it would come the moment Meng Wu Ya returned to Tong Xuan Realm. He debated if he should tell him but decided that it would be good if he did as the information wasn't anything special or important.

He looked at Meng Wu Ya and said, "well, first of all I'll clear your misconception that Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang don't know about it, because they do and for sometime now. Also can you tell me why you didn't ask me sooner? and why now when we just came here."

Meng Wu Ya was a little surprised at his 'misconception' and looked towards Xia Ning Chang for confirmation which was confirmed by her nod. But when he thought about it, it was natural that Yang Feng wouldn't hide it from the two girls with how good he treated them.

After shaking his head internally, he then answered Yang Feng's questions, "I didn't ask you about it before when we were in the small world because it wasn't relevant at that time. We were still stuck there and even if I knew about it, the information was useless till we came here and I regained my strength. Also now that we're in the Tong Xuan Realm, I can get rid of the 3rd seal by myself within a few years."
