Starting a new journey

I'm dead. Yes I don't know how I died but I am truly dead. Oh well it doesn't matter anymore after all I was just a worm in the whole animal kingdom.

While I was thinking like a moron in this whole vast expanse of space a sudden ripple occurred near me and a humanoid shaped golden light came into being.

I can't see aside from the golden light so I decided to question him with a classic "who are you?".

"Hm I knew that you'd surprise me but I am still a little surprised by your reaction to your situation" the golden figure said.

A tick mark over my forehead seeing that he hasn't replied to my earlier question but i didn't lash out like some kind of snobby little brat. I asked again "Sir care to tell me who you are?"

"By human standards you can call me god and the reason I appear in front of you is that you are dead that you know of already" the golden figure replied.

"Since I am dead what will be my verdict will I go to hell, heaven or will you reincarnate me?" I asked him with a plain voice.

"It's up to you to decide since I know that you don't want to go to hell then I can send you to heaven or I can reincarnate you to a fantasy world of your choice and yes those worlds do exist" the golden figure said.

" You must've already guessed my answer but i want to ask do I get any cheats?" I asked the golden figure. " yes you do get 3 wishes but there is a catch" he said while being mysterious.

"And what that might be ? " I said with confusion evident on my face. " Wherever I reincarnate you you will have to become the guardian of the said world, you see in the vast expanse of the verse there are beings that solely live to destroy and if any beast comes to destroy the world that you're reincarnated in then you are sort of a legal guardian of the said world but don't worry I will protect the world until you become powerful enough" the golden figure said.

I contemplated and just thought fuck it. " I'm ready" i said with resolution in my voice.

"Fine, then state your wishes and the universe young soul" the golden figure said.

I thought for sometime and said "I want to go to the world of martial universe as Yank Kai after he assimilates with golden skeleton and my wishes are, my first wish is to have the upgraded version of shadow monarch's powers without any limitations, my second wish is to have my own personal universe in my dantian where I can be a god and my last wish is to have 100 times the talent of the talented person of the said universe".

After hearing my wishes the golden figure thought for sometime and said "fine it can be granted but for your 2nd wish you can't create any living beings in the personal universe unless you have the power to create life until then the universe will create empty husks of beasts with beastly Instincts".

I nodded to his explanation and then he said "Now off you go I have other matters to handle" and he waved his hand and I blanked out of consciousness.

When I regained consciousness I was lying on the floor with sweat all over my body and from the memories in my head I knew that I had successfully transmigrated into the martial peak universe.

I stood up from the foor and examined myself I felt an endless amount of strength in my body and i knew this wasn't just the strength of body tempering realm but also because of the shadow monarch's powers or rather shadow emperors powers.

There was an endless stream of qi flowing through my veins because of these powers and I have this strength without any limitations that means I don't have to develop or grow like any other mc and right now I don't know how many realms above I can fight.

I conjured a full body mirror to see myself and after seeing myself in yang Kai's body in front of the mirror I was thinking 'its not like I wanted a harem or I wanted to live like main character but rather I was a simple man in my previous life without any attachments or relations to boast about. It's because yang kai was atleast reasonable enough and yes maybe some shortcomings but who doesn't have it.

I then willed for the black book to appear in my hands and it appeared and I read all the body tempering records in the book. After that exhaustion took over and I fell asleep.

In the morning I woke up before sunrise because I only have half an hour to practice. In another ten minutes sunrise began and I decided to start practicing My bones didn't feel like breaking it just felt like a sting. Within 2 minutes of my start practicing I broke through to 4th stage of body tempering realm and I felt my strength increase but only little like an ant compared to an elephant.

I again started and by the end of my training session I was already at the peak of body tempering realm.

There was still 9 minutes to complete the sunrise. After sunrise yang kai started sweeping the floor. While sweeping he noticed someone was peeping on him and he knew who that was but he let it be.

After sweeping the floor he decided to go to the treasure all. Arriving there he saw treasurer meng sitting on his chair reading a book with a lecherous smile on his face and in my opinion he really looked horrible.

'Damn old bastard always thinking of doing something unholy with young girls' yang kai thought while arriving near the desk and shouting "Treasurer meng what are you reading?".

Treasurer meng woke up from his concentration and said "oh it's you boy".

"Yes it is me yang kai and what are you at me so intently I tell I don't swing that way" I said while doing a protecting myself stance.

The old man had a tick mark over his head but he controlled himself and said "Did something happened to you boy, why do I feel a little different about you".

"What are you talking about I was always like this" I dismissed his intuition and said give "Give me 40 silver pieces".

Treasurer meng raised an eyebrow and said "not gonna save anymore? Are you not saving for tempered essence pellet".

I shook my head sideways and said "i don't need it anymore" saying that I collected my earnings and returned to my humble abode.

Meanwhile treasurer meng was thinking 'So he can now cultivate, good for him though'.
