CHAPTER 61: MEETING HER PARENTS
Approaching the house, which was by the corner of the street, Braelyn sent a message to her mother informing her that they were about to get there. And she received a response as well.
A minute later, Ronan’s car was facing the gate, which was sliding open.
“Are you nervous?” Ronan asked Braelyn, who was fidgeting once again as she pulled the seat belt repeatedly.
“I ….”
“Remember kitten, you are your mother’s child and she won’t harm you. You just need to leave everything to me if you are too nervous. There is no need to share a lot with her if it makes you think that she will be angry at you. Can you do that for me?”
Braelyn froze as she listened to his words and before she knew it, she was sighing heavily, nodding her head as she accepted his advice.
‘I am my mother’s child. And when has she ever made things difficult for me? Let’s stop making her look scarier than what she is!’ she cheered herself as she loosened her hold on the seat belt.
