You Matter The Most

Prince Nicien was currently preparing to return to the palace when his sister walked inside his tent.

As Avilina came right after dealing with Vincent, she didn't know that her brother was preparing to return. "Emer, are you going back?" She asked. Though she didn't show anything, many possible reasons crossed her mind.

"Elias came to tell me that Captain Ricard wishes to see me," Nicien Vamieres promptly responded. "But don't think too much, Avilina. I will often come to see if you take good care of yourself."

His response earned him a chuckle from his older sister but it was a short one.

Avilina was sure that her brother knew what she had just done. She wasn't surprised by the fact that Nicien didn't mention her action at all but she still wanted to talk about it.

This was their way of keeping their trust alive - by always being honest with each other.
