Meanwhile, Scarlet was still talking on her phone when Aviana walked into the office.
"Lily, can I call you back? I need to attend to something important, first," she requested. "Okay, bye," she nodded and kept the call afterwards. Then, she walked to Aviana who had just walked in and was standing at the door.
"Do all meetings take this long? It's been two hours already," she complained as she stood next to her.
"No, just this one. But I told you earlier, didn't I?" Aviana replied and walked to her desk. Scarlet followed her. And they both took a seat, with Aviana seated at her usual spot while Scarlet sat on the other side of the desk.
Placing the document that she was holding on the desk, Aviana said dryly,"I'm here now. So, tell me. What did you wanna talk about." She leaned back in her chair and looked up at her.
