She Conceeded
Diane nodded in response.
"Wait till I take a shower," Christian replied and disappeared from her view. By the time he returned, she was already fast asleep.
'Good for you,' he said to himself as a soft sigh of relief escaped his lips.
He was already dressed in his pyjamas, ready for bed which was a clear intention to not touch her and go straight to bed.
The next morning, Diane woke up with a banging head.
She hissed in discomfort as she put both hands on her bed in a bit to relieve the pain by lifting it.
Christian walked into the room dressed in casual clothes; shorts and polo with a glass of water in his hand.
"Good morning, Babe," he greeted.
"Good morning," she retired the greeting with furrowed brows. "Did I bang my head somewhere or did a trailer climb over me?"
She doesn't seem to recall her crazy actions from the previous night as she accepted the glass of water that was passed to her.
