It was the fifth of January and it was my scheduled day off from all my work. So I was out in a field near Blackthorn City playing a guitar. The Ghouleon king Graveyard she sat on my left while Elizabeth sat to my right with a special collar on her neck. As frankly can't trust the horny bitch to behave and not mass fuck kill things. As that's not something she'll give up as she says.
"Fucking your prey and watching them climax with their cute little moans. Then ripping their throat out carefully but quickly, watching as they looked betrayed with their life draining. It's intoxicating to watch, it drives me mad to repeat it all over again!"
Just doesn't drive anyone in Silence to trust the bitch in permanent heat. Graveyard, she's respectful and has actually been helping her tribe create kids. It was weird to walk in earlier to see her just watching a group orgy, while poorly trying to leak life energy. Life and death go hand in hand together but the Ghouleon's are purely death so her trying to convert it to life was wasting too much. That I awkwardly had to help while killing my sight, hearing, and smell to even stay in the room.
It was frankly very awkward that the poor girl had to be forced to stop saying, "Forgive me!" Then came the annoying headache of Elizabeth's enclosure with the Spiriteon's. The bitch was using me as a meat shield while screaming curses, and threats at the rest asking for training in fighting. It was a damn headache that I grabbed her skull, and threw her into the gathering horde of ghosts. Before beginning to give them all what they wanted, a beating into the ground.
After those event's I signed the enclosures out, taking the now three hundred Spiriteon's and thousand Ghouleon's outside. With the two leaders at my side the horde of mixed types was enjoying the outside world. As my fingers strummed the guitar strings, Summer materialized against my back. Her voice leaked out in a low sing-song voice, her bladed ax extensions gently dug into my back and neck.
"We may not be innocent creatures of virtue, we are the ones acting as the silent guardians."
Following up with her I let out a low tone geared towards Blues style music.
"Dying left and right as the light fades from our eyes, we carry on our silent mission. Thanks never given, praises never sung, we die in the darkness."
"Unsung heroes keeping this fragile world together. Unsung heroes giving everything to see another day of peace."
"We may never be heard but we raise our weapons and shields, crying out for war. We strike at the heart of those emerging to swallow everything in darkness."
"Bullet, arrows, swords, spears, shields all clashing in the darkness at the edge of light."
"Fist ring out meeting flesh, demons of slaughter meeting demons of perverse ambition."
As we sang our morbid song about a hidden world truth. Lillian and Furgus materialized while holding food. The two create a small duet as they set out the food.
""Alone we'd fall but we have each other, we struggle on for even a second more. To feel the others embrace, to hear the others voice, to feel our hearts still beat in our chest.""
Eyeing our kids I smile a bit as I change the guitar tune to a little more upbeat. Looking up at the sky before sighing remembering every death, every life that was snuffed by hands.
"Others say you're a psycho for not budging at the sight of death. However, I think you're just fine as we're all a little insane."
"Some say you're a sociopathic killer, but I see the scars on your heart. I see your worn out soul and wish to help you heal. For I love you."
""We're not the best of people but we're trying our damnedest to be a family. Say what you will but we are each other's support, each other's reason to still think!""
Our little family song had gotten Elizabeth to take an interest in adding her own input. The Spiriteon giggling as she tried to flirt all the while.
"But darling death is our business~! Keeping the rowdy in line while seducing our prey with our techniques."
Looking at the ghost pressing her body against my legs with dramatic actions. I silently let her have her moment as she has been doing good. Graveyard was unsure if she should interject like Elizabeth. So her claws dug into the ground while she released unsure growls. The Ghouleon eventually decided to just become a rumbling growl to mesh with the guitar notes.
"Light may not wash over us as warmth, but the embers kindling in our hearts do just fine. Alone the embers are a dying light barely giving warmth."
"But when we come together the warmth slowly grows, the embers burning brighter. Our hearts connect ever so slightly at each other's touch."
""The embers in our hearts give us a purpose, separating us from the rest. We have a reason to kindle them till they're snuffed by those with nothing left."
"So don't mind the blood stains on our bodies~ they are just the labor of our love. A volatile destructive love threatening to rip your throat out~."
Our little song was morbid but showing how we viewed things as we played and sung. The food had been set out after a few minutes during the song. Just no one touched anything yet as the spectating Ghouleon's and Spiriteon's listened. Their bodies swaying to the melody, some letting out howls. By the time we wrapped the song up we had attracted some passing by spectators, rangers, ACE's, city dwellers, and Blackthorn's.
Seeing the gathering I signaled for everyone to eat. Getting up from my sitting position before I lumbered my way to the gathering of humans and pokemon. As I approached Summer, Graveyard, and Elizabeth flanked me as we're the ones in charge right now. Standing before the gathering as my guitar was slung over my left shoulder, I put a hand in my pants pockets.
"How can we help ya folks?"
I spoke rather leisurely as my clothes were right now just a black tank top, my combat pants, all my knives sheathed along my waist, arms, chest, and legs. My guns aren't physically on my person but I can pull them out any time I wish. The rest of my gear was much the same since I took it off for my day off. A male ACE that looked to be twenty-three years old, had braided brown hair, blue eyes, a lithe figure, and twelve pokeballs. Looked at me warily as he spoke in a low baritone voice.
"Nothing in particular sir no… But we had reports from the trainers gathering here that a strange group of pokemon was gathering. When my squad arrived to ask you questions everyone held us back as they watched your dark musical."
"Dark but we were having fun, just probably only really understood me right?"
"Er yes… If you don't mind me asking, who are you? And what are the pokemon all around you?"
"Names Dakota Cartson, the Haxorous hugging my back affectionately is my wife Summer. The ghostly Jolteon is Elizabeth, a Spiriteon and the leader of the other Spiriteon's. The gray hairless umbreon looking lady is Graveyard, the Ghouleon king. The two Zoroark's are Lillian and Furgus, my children. The pokeballs on my belt are my team Vala my Corviknight, Jewel my Dragapault, Rascal my Thievul, Lockheart my Claydoll, and Ruin my Scolipede."
The ACE trainer looked a little stumped as I answered even questions he didn't ask. Scratching the back of his head he looked at me in the eyes as I smiled softly.
"Well I'm captain Lugner of the fifty-eighth ACE division. For everyone's safety I'm going to have ask you and your group to come with me. As your pokemon aren't normal and could be a threat so don't resist."
"I refuse, my authority is higher than a countries."
My answer caused the ACE to stumble as he looked at me like I was joking. Elizabeth was giggling enjoying the dumb look on his face. Graveyard was stoicly sitting and eyeing the man with a bored look, probably debating if he needs bit. Summer? Summer was looking at the man while grinning creepily as if planning a prank. The ACE reached for a pokeball but the sound of dragons growling stopped his hand.
He turned to look at the cause, and the Blackthorn clan members had all released their dragons. Even a Goodra was giving him an ugly look, when its kind usually is a very shy loving dragon. Looking at the clan members I make a two finger salute towards them.
"Yo, hows the clan?"
My question caused them look startled but they smiled before giving a head bow. One of their members, an older woman in her sixties with graying blonde hair, spoke to me while rubbing the Goodra's neck gently.
"Your excellency, the clan is doing wonderful and is keeping the dragon population world-wide calm. Thanks to you and young master Lance we are managing to keep even the stubborn ones placid. It is great to see you again though after twelve years! You seem to be taking a day off so that does make me glad. You work to much you old fart!"
"Aye I do, but you young people need to respect your elders more. I mean does my age mean that I shouldn't be treated like a king? Or am I just some pitiful beggar?"
"Come now your age means nothing if you never age! You may be older than my old bones but you still youthful. So don't give me lip about respect and age we both know kids don't care much."
"Mmh true they just care about new toys, sex, violence, and their hot blooded ideals. Damned be age if you get on their nerves they try to go against you with stubborn force."
Me and the clan member share a glance before chuckling at some hidden agreement. Those around us looking very lost if they didn't know something about Blackthorn history. The ACE finally grabs a pokeball and was about to release something, when a Silence member leaned against his back. They appeared suddenly as the wind blew while looking around lazily in a slothful motion.
The one who had appeared was a teenager about fifteen years old, she had black hair with sky blue highlights, a rather pake tan, gray eyes, two long sword gun blades, a sleeveless Silence uniform, and a bottle of whiskey.
"Ah zero commander Silica, what can I help you with?"
"Nothing *hic* just making sure this idiot behaaaaves. *Hic* Why there so many damned people and the world tilting?! Is some fuck attacking my mind?! *hic* Oh… I'm just drunk never mind hahaha. EUGCH"
Commander Silica proceeded proceeded to vomit on a trainer twice her age. Said trainer looked very disgusted at the vomiting teenager. The ACE who had grabbed the pokeball was stunned at the person against his back. They had suddenly appeared as tge wind blew and started rambling. As captain Lugner was about to enlarge his pokeball, the teen grabbed his wrist suddenly. Turning swiftly with a smooth motion they flung the captain into the dirt.
The teen was still drunk but she was grinning smugly as she cracked her knuckles. Ready to break a few bones if needed when a pebble nails her in the temple. The attacker was Dakota who looked on blankly.
"Behave yourself or I'll tell your father."
"H-hey don't go telling daddy anything! He'll body slam me into the ground till I learn a lesson while lecturing me!"
"""""""Then behave! Its a day off for us!!""""""
The family of four and two pack leaders yelled at Silica. Causing the young girl to flinch and shrink back from the collective warning. Meanwhile the Blackthorn's chuckled as they watched the members of Silence. The ACE trainers and rangers looking at the group with caution due to the carefree situation. As they remotely released their teams and drew compacted bows, batons, and knives. They felt something sharp press against their throats as Dakota's knives had all vanished. Turning his head to look at them he sighs a bit depressed.
"Look I'm really not coming with you, your not having any of these kids, or demanding shit from me. Its my day off and I'd rather keep it bloodless, so put those away."
"I'd listen to him dearies, you don't want to make the Executioner mad. You'll lose your lives faster than you can blink. Plus that girly is a commander for Silence so you'd all be thrown into a meat grinder."
Hearing the old lady a few of them looked not so convinced at her words. From the group though a couple of them and their pokemon moved aside. They all shook their heads since they knew what she meant and knew attacking was just a suicide mission. So they peacefully gave up and stood off to the side silently. A few of the civilians who were still around and heard them stepped back.
They were either historians, retired cops and such, criminals, or people who liked searching up random stuff. Seeing a little over sixty people and pokemon step back, the still wary fighters gave up. If what was said was actually true, do they really WANT to die? No not really if there's no point.
The rest of the day off was mostly just walking the parade of pokemon around. Showing them new sights and such while teaching whoever asked the species name and typing. There was one robber who tried stealing a Ghouleon, he didn't make a single step before he was devoured. Not even blood was left as the Ghouleon's ate the offender.
