CH229. Ask her to meet you here

He listens as the drink flows down his throat. And it makes him a little relaxed.

He pours himself another glass, then another. And it begins worrying Yu Luoshan.

"Hey man?" He calls Lu Min Chen while taking the glass away from him. "Did something happen? Why are you like this today?"

He seems depressed, but his friend cannot tell why he is looking like that.

Lu Min Chen sighs again. "You have to know that I am not allowing you to do anything to my sister," he says, while looking sternly at Yu Luoshan.

Yu Luoshan looks away. He says nothing to reply to it. This man has never wanted him close to his sister.  

"Why are you drinking so much..." Lu Yu Yan asks as he runs towards her brother. But she halts in place when he sees the other man.

The two notice her and turn to face her. And Lu Yu Yan looks away quickly. Her brother tricked her. He wanted her to meet this man!

"Come here," Lu Min Chen calls her and pats the seat beside him.

"Brother?" Lu Yu Yan calls in fear. She is scared of being close to Luoshan again.

"What is wrong?" Lu Min Chen asks. " Are you scared of him?" He looks at Yu Luoshan questioningly. What did he do to her?

But Yu Luoshan still has his eyes fixed on Lu Yu Yan. He does not miss any expression on her face.

"Nope," she shakes her head and walks fearfullly towards them. Then she takes the seat closest to Lu Min Chen, not daring to look at Yu Luoshan.

Luckily, he says nothing. And that puts her at rest.

"Brother, what did you want me to do?" She asks Lu Min Chen.

"Call Xiao Xiao and ask her to meet you here," Lu Min Chen instructs her.

Yu Luoshan is shocked. "Min Chen?" He asks. 

"Is there a problem? It is not like we are pulling her out of there."

"No, there is not problem at all," Luoshan replies. He will let the big boss do as he pleases. No one can change his mind after all.

What else are they doing if not pulling her out if the room?

"Should I call her now?" Lu Yu Yan asks as she takes her phone out.

" Mmh," Lu Min Chen nods, and his eyes drift to the door in front of them again.

He has this unsettling feeling, like something is not right. But he thinks it is just because she is in a room with a man. And the man is not him.

Unfortunately,it is the man she is in love with, not him, Lu Min Chen.

He even feels like it is a waste of time trying to get her out. But he still wants to follow his heart. He does not want her to stay locked in there any longer.

Yu Yan nods her head and dials Ye Xiao Xiao's number, putting the phone close to her ears. After a long time, the call is not picked up.
