Men Can't Come Between Us

Diana thought of how she could get back Charles because he is so loving, romantic and caring, that is the kind of man she needed for herself but can't have it because Amber had him and she hadn't come across such man anywhere in her lifetime.

"Even if I am able to get this man all to myself, what about my husband, do I divorce him? He quite cool but sometimes we don't work the same path," she was drowned in thought and didn't hear Michael calling and waving right in front of her.

He had to shout on her to get her back to reality.

"What are you thinking about?" I've been calling right in front of you since decades, are you sure you are fine?" He asked as he sank into their couch in the living room with his glass of orange juice.

"Nothing that serious, just trouble over Charles..." "You can be getting yourself worked up over someone who doesn't want to stand his ground," he cut her from her words with a lesson concern attitude.

After Michael said that, there was a long silence. Right while the silence was on, she thought of playing her game without letting her husband know. She thought of having secret affair with Charles without the knowledge of her husband and Amber.

"Moreover, we love each other, he will not say no to me," she said in a very low tone.

"Did you speak to me," Michael asked in a sharp turn to her.

"No darling," she said with a glowing smile.

She left the living room to the bedroom to think of how to make her move into Amber's house in friendship.

She later concluded of going to apologize to Amber for meddling in her affair earlier on.

Right in Amber's house...

"Come on babe, we have come a long way to allow men come between us. You are my colleague and a very good friend of mine, to crown it all, the biggest champion of our time," Diana spoke so friendly and convincing in a tone of teasing.

They understood how their apologies comes and how to continue their friendship.

Diana brought a drink for apology; that was how they do it. Anyone that flaws uses a drink to apologize.

"Get a glass let's toss," Rose said in acceptance.

"That's my girl," Diana said as she stood up to get glasses-- they laughed.

"But where did you husband learn to fight," Amber quickly asked as Diana was going to get glasses for them.

"He looks wrestle and boxing most often," she said as she was returning."

After that day, Diana was able to find her way into Amber's house and heart again, but this time, it is for the bad and worse because she is in for a mission.

She had her way each time Amber is not around. Charles feels more like a man each time he is with Diana.

She gives him such privilege unlike Amber. "Hey baby, your friend just left the house for her side business and you know when she will be coming back," Charles said over the phone to Diana.

It was their plan to always meet up anytime Amber steps out for her shop. Amber own a wine cellar. She visit there over the weekend to see how things had gone for the week. She comes back very late -7pm, because her sales representatives would give her accounts for the week sales.

Diana and Charles would make out in Amber's bed like it was something normal. Such act went on for years and no one knew about it.

"It been so long I heard you complain about your friend's husband, she doesn't maltreat him anymore?" Michael asked while they were in the kitchen making dinner.

"She still hit him at every given opportunity and send him around like he is a house boy," she spoke in a pitiful tone as she stirs the pot of soup she was making.

"It hurts big time when I realise my fellow man being maltreated, the problem here is that he doesn't even have the guts to fight back," Michael said and hissed.

Minutes after, their soup was ready. After their dinner, they were having a conversation still about Charles right in their bed.

"I would love to visit that dude right at Amber's house maybe tomorrow," Michael said while Diana was touching his hairy chest.

"No, no, no, you perhaps want to go there and fight Amber," she said sitting up in the bed, leaving his arm.

"Come on, how would you conclude," he said as he brought up his head to see Diana's face.

"No, I disagree on that, if you want to pass any message to him, give it to me and I will pass it unto him, I am going out to that direction tomorrow, she said with a long point on his nose with a smile on her face.

Michael and Diana are actually cool couple, but when their differences occurs, it's always hard for them not to fight because they both are quick to anger and hot temperament people.

But sometimes Michael controls his, which made Diana almost took advantage of his gentility.

All that was why they fight each other without looking back.

But at some point, Diana began to give up because Michael is not a man to mess with. He is equally very strong even though he is not a ring fighter.

Towards noon the next day, Diana visited Amber's house. She was home watching Tv and talking to someone over the phone when Diana arrived.

Her conversation over the phone was quite like a teenage who finally found love after a long time.

Diana asked who the person was after she was done, she denied and said it was a business call.

"Anways, I came to see you, it's new week and I was hoping we do a family party so you and my husband can settle your differences," she said that to her because she doesn't know how to deliver her husband's message to Charles.

She wanted the party so Michael and Charles would have their discussion.

"How do I tell her that my husband sent me to tell your husband to man and watch fights films just like him," she thought after she lied to Amber. It was a big plea before Amber agreed to the family party at Diana's house.
