"Hey. Have you heard of the new gang in this lower district?"

A man wearing leather armors, and was carrying an axe asked his companion, same as him but instead of an axe he has a sword on his waist.

"You mean the new emerging one. What is the name of the gang…. Emm… I can't seem to remember…"

"It's Avalon."

The man laughed at his friend's memory, and then said the name of the gang.

"That's the name! But, do you know the meaning of this name – Avalon?"

"Hmm… Don't know. But who cares?"

"Hahahah! You're right. Who cares about name?"

"But the name is somehow good. Doesn't it give off a kind of noble feeling."

"Who knows?"

Both the people were bickering as usual standing just in front of their gang's stronghold. For today's night, they were the guard tonight.

"But aren't you worried? That those members of Avalon might come to destroy us. I heard that they are just destroying the gangs all around the district."

The man then said with a voice of concern. He was very worried that Avalon, the new district might come to attack them.

"Hmph! You're too worried. Don't forget we are no normal gang. We are the gang working under the biggest gang in lower district. We are working for boss Baros."

"Boss Baros… the infamous greedy werewolf?!"

The man was shocked.

Baros, the werewolf. Who doesn't know him?

He is undoubtedly the leader of the strongest gang in this lower district. Baros is a demi-human, wolf type, with immense strength and agility.

It is said that with just his bare claws, he can tear the steel!

Baros is a man who is very greedy and petty. He is like a tyrant. If someone takes something that belongs to him, he won't spare that person and his family. His ruthlessness has no limits.

But what most terrifying about him, is that his brother – Varos, is the one of the four emperors in the middle district!

And even if someone messes with him and gets out alive, Varos sends his people and to get the alive one killed.

"From your tone, it seems you didn't know."

"That's right."

"Don't worry."

The man's friend patted him and reassured him.

"Nothing will happe—"

Before his friend could finish his sentence, his head fell down and the blood sprouted out splashing on his face.

"Aaa—rg!"

He couldn't even shout. A figure just came from behind and before he could shout in fear, grabbed his mouth and then cracked his neck in a swift move and the man died.

"Master, we have killed all the guards."

Artoria quickly with her reinforced magic returned a bit back into the forest, and then told the report of the mission. Ghislaine behind her was also full pumped up. she loves to fight more than anybody.

"Good. Then… there is no need to worry. It's time."

Ren looked at his team, no gang behind him and then all of them rushed inside stealthily and then started the massacre from inside.

All the members inside the gang, screamed in pain, fear, despair, yet they couldn't escape. All of bodies piled up. The site was no longer a place to live. It was full blood-stained field with many corpse lying on it.

Ren stood in middle of it with his bloody hands. He wasn't hurt, but felt a bit uncomfortable with another person's blood on his hands.

"Argh! This blood stinks!"

He swayed his hands to get the blood off, and at that moment Zest appeared in front of him.

"Oh! Zest!"

"Here, master."

And then she gave him a clean cloth to wipe his hands off. In these days, Zest has become a kind of maid. She fulfills of his requirements.

Akeno and Albedo are his secretaries. While Artoria and Ghislaine are the combatants. Both of them are leading figures in terms of battles.

Akeno, Albedo and Zest are not weak, and all of them appear during battles like this one, but in the organization, the division of work is needed.

And that's how Ren divided the positions to his most trusted members. Akeno and Albedo do the duties secretary does – managing the organization, all the materials needed, and everything related to management.

Zest trains the new recruits, and as a maid take cares of him. Artoria and Ghislaine, both of them in their ways train the new recruits who want to be in frontline.

Looking at all, there are still many members he needs for development, but for now all five manage this newly formed organization.

Rather than a gang, which loots from common people, they are better be called as an organization.

After slaughtering many gangs, they have found many slaves and have taken them in their wing as a member of Avalon.

Many slaves were freed, the only one they took and gave them a place are the ones who didn't go away like the previous one where Artoria, Zest and Ghislaine stayed.

"Tell Artoria to command the members to collect all valuables and resources."

"Yes."

Zest disappeared and went away with his orders. In this lower district, the only important source of income for them is to loot. Even though Ren wanted a stable and proper source of income, it was not possible for him now.

To turn this barren lower district a developed one, he have to spent very much money to construct many projects, and have to change the people so that many merchants can come to trade here.

Farming isn't possible here, so the only source left is trading.

'Let check why Boros's underlings are here in such a corner.'

The place where the underlings were camping is just too barren without any protection or resources. It is an idiot move to stay in such a place. Yet, Boros ordered his people to guard this land and take over it.

Something is fishy!

That's why Ren ordered Akeno and Albedo to get out information from the head of this camp. Artoria is too prideful to resort something as torture, and Ghislaine isn't good at it and doesn't have any interest except fighting.

So, he can only let it for Akeno and Albedo, and to his surprise both came out to be excellent torturers.

"Ren-sama."

Ren turned and then saw Albedo standing with a graceful posture.

"So, did you find why they are here?"

"Yes. The reason they are here is because they found that this place has high deposits of magicite ore."

"What?! Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Hearing her affirmed answer, Ren smiled.

'It seems I finally found a source of income.'
