James

James finished cleaning the mirrors in the last bathroom and looked toward Jay who was on the last toilet. Finally now he could go home and invite Jay to dinner at his place. With luck he'd say yes, then James could admire his cute face for the rest of the evening.

All James had to do was make sure he was here so Mr. Liopah wouldn't assign Jay anything else to do. Hmm getting a quick snack from the vending machine wouldn't hurt. He slipped out the bathroom and down the hall getting a small bag of goldfish. He returned to find Mr. Liopah glaring at the toilets.

"Do you honestly think this is acceptable? They still have rings on them; scrub harder already, pumice stones are for the weak." Mr. Liopah was already on one of his roles.

James coughed slightly. "Oh hey teach! Jay was just about done."

Mr. Liopah paused his mouth hanging down a bit, "Ah James my boy, uh right, Jay go home already its late. You shouldn't stay out this late with all the gangs that are in the area." He growled then shooed the two guys from the school building.

"So my detention is completely over now right?" clarified Jay.

Mr. Liopah's sneered slightly "Yes, yes, don't let me catch you slacking off to class again."

Jay and James immediately both took off before he had the chance to change his mind.

"Did you see his face when you came in," giggled Jay, "Man it's so nice to have a fire type friend when around him."

"Yeah it was great." Replied James looking toward the edge of the hills where the sun was starting to cast shadows over the area. Jay continued chatting about random topics as they walked.

James was content to just walk next to Jay listening to him chat Jay then moved to the topic of their classmates.

"So James, tell me have you found a girlfriend yet?"

"Ah no, not really feeling it toward any of them."

"Same, they are way too obsessed with makeup. Melody is kind of cute though."

James grimaced slightly, "True but way too much work to have one."

"You're so right! It's a good thing I have you to always keep my head on straight." Jay laughed.

Oh how James loved when he laughed, it was like everything unpleasant in the world just died away. He didn't care what Jay decided to do with his life, he could be a sewage worker and James would still want to spend every second with him.

He looked at his pale blue eyes and blond hair, that always fell in a perfect way. It was a sharp contrast to his unruly brown hair and hazel eyes with streaks of golden colors.

"Hey want to come over to my place tonight?" James asked putting his spend more time with Jay plan into action.

"Sure only can for an hour though, then I have to make dinner for my sister." Jay replied.

James led Jay to his house, it was in decent shape, he lived there with his dad, but his dad was usually out. Home sweet home, the table had the standard note from his dad

'Be back late tonight, dinner's in the fridge.'

James pulled out some of the leftovers from the night before and handed Jay a chicken leg. "You hungry?" silly question Jay was always hungry, he was smaller in size than James but could eat like no other. It also made feeding him a sure way to make him want to come over more.

Jay immediately took it, "Ah dude it looks delicious!" he then proceeded to eat 2 thighs and 2 breasts. Heh it was a good think James raised his own chickens and had an egg farm which he sold to the neighbors.

"I can also fry up some eggs if you want any?" James asked

"Nah it's cool I don't want to eat too much of your stuff in one night." Jay smirked, "Besides me and Kay still have to eat tonight. So I probably shouldn't eat too much before dinner."

James smirked any normal person wouldn't call a leg, 2 thighs, and 2 breasts of chicken and appetizer. Just where did scrawny managed to stick all that food?

"Dude why does your couch always look so soft?" Asked Jay.

He laid down on the couch and tossed one arm over his eyes blocking out the light. James walked over and sat in an arm chair nearby. He then proceeded to let his eyes wander along Jay's entire body. Perfect muscles and curves, his hair falling slightly to each side, Jay was really just perfect in every way.

Jay was content to just lay on James's couch for an hour, and James was more than happy to just stare at him for an hour. In a totally not stalker way. Way too soon their time was up. Jay's phone alarm beeped and he got up and headed toward the door.

"Laters!" he called over his shoulder to James who just replied with a wave. Such sadness, why couldn't he and his sister just move in? It was not like he and his dad didn't have plenty of room in the large house. Although his dad might have things to say if James wanted to share a room with Jay. Uh not that he wanted to or anything.

With Jay gone James went up to his room. He pulled out his photo album with all the pictures of Jay and him. He set it up at a random page smiling, and then he also pulled out his homework. Pictures of Jay made everything better.

"Let's see" he murmured to himself. Advanced fire properties and blue flame control in relation to the other elements. Just looking at the paper made him sleepy. Time to stare at Jay for a minute to wake back up.

"The fire element is feeling based as opposed to bright magic which relies on the energy within. Blah blah blah"

Jay was so much better than words. "Water magic, fire magic, earth magic, are all feeling based strength. Blah blah blah, sky magic is weaker and relies on the ability to move each individual molecule blah blah blah.....Jay"
